I told the technician on site on three different occasions and got confirmation from him as to the depth required for the job. He said no problem, we'll take care of it. The next day I went to check on the job and it was barely below the existing grade. When I complain they threaten to take me to small claims court and told me that they fulfilled their contract. I've had gotten two prices for the job, one from them and one from Tree West. They were virtually identical. The only difference being that they said they could do the job tomorrow so I gave it to them. I ended up calling Tree West back and paying them half again the cost of the job to complete they both knew was included from the get-go. Definitely one of those gotcha kind of contractors. Save your money and call a real professional.

They were so intent on making their $100 without a modicum of due diligence to at least probe to see what could potentially be damaged. The owner told me that they are very careful to make sure there look before they proceed and are supposed to call him if they suspect any possible damage before they do any work. They failed miserably. I asked them to come back out and clean the mess they left on the wall of my home. They agreed to clean up the mess although it was a harbinger of things to come. I asked them for a quote to trim a couple of palms before I realized the extent of the damage they did and noted that their quote was excessive. Oh, and let's not forget that they charge $14+ to use a credit card. Never again will I do business with this company.

Their excuse is they couldn't get the job finished the first day so they did what they could. It would take them about an hour to finish up but refused to do so.
