Around June of 2023, (YES 2023!) I ordered/bought a silencer from Mikes. i ended up moving to Washington State that fall before the paperwork (atf stuff) was finished. I have been trying since I moved 2/24 to get them to transfer the silencer to my dealer in Washington state. I mainly wanted it for my October 2025 hunt down in Colorado. But Mikes refuses to transfer it. I think they lost it or one of their employees took it and have it mounted on their weapon. I owe them no money. Offered to pay for the transfer/mailing. But now they don't even answer the phone. If someone actually does I get told "the boss isn't in, he will call back!) never does. This is theft plain and simple read more

If you're able to find the place consider yourself lucky. Mike's occupies what's essentially a closet on the back side of an auto repair business. They're next to a welding shop so if you see that you're in the right place. Mike and his sons do a spectacular job. The shop is small. Literally the smallest gun shop in the world. But don't let it fool you. They've got an excellent stock of handguns, riffles, ammo and supplies. I've transferred a few gunes here without any issues. They've also handled a special order for me and processed my NFA quickly too. I would say that the best part of the experience is their advice. It's unfortunate that there is a review giving one star because someone couldn't find the place and concluded they didn't exist. Otherwise they would have all five star ratings. I guarantee that they do in fact exist and from my personal experience they are very bit as good as their other reviews attest. I am in the process of selecting and purchasing my first handgun at age 78. I had never shot a handgun before. Mike spent time with me at Alamo providing me instruction on the safe handling and shooting of two handguns. He takes his work very seriously. He is patient, considerate, knowledgeable and professional. I have a follow up session scheduled with him at Alamo to choose the proper gun to fit my needs. My wife and I purchased a Byrna gun that is powered by compressed air (CO2) which make it a less lethal pistol. After we received the Byrna gun and red the directions we were still confused on how to operate the device. So we decided to look up a professional and we received a reference from a friend to contact Mike's Firearms in Naples, Florida. We called Mike and scheduled an appointment. Mike's Firearms sells guns, ammunition, accessories, & AR parts. Firearms safety training, along w/ pistol & personal home protection training are offered. Concealed carry & refresher classes are available, as well as Gunsmith & cleaning services. Trades are welcome. Should you purchase a firearm on the web, Mike's will handle your transfer for a $25 fee-- which includes the required background check. (I used his business for a large firearm transfer.) In comparison, Shooter's World charges $50 ($100 Class III) for a transfer. This is a physically small firearms' shop complete w/ a large guard dog-- who of course knows I'm scared of dogs, so he decided to lick my toes. You may need to use GPS to find your way here. From the street & the building's exterior, you would not know this firearm shop exists. There is no sign anywhere except on the entrance door-- which is located on the side of the building. (See pic.) From the street, once you see the green wooden canopy & a sign for M.B. Experts, you will have found Mike's Firearms. According to its webpage, Mike's specializes in training women & novices; classes are offered for 1 to 6 students, regardless of proficiency. Children's training is also available. Multiple types of weapons are utilized in the classes, as well as 50 rounds of ammunition. Phone to schedule; class times vary according to student schedules. Training takes place at The Alamo range and/or Tradecraft Range & Training Center near the prison. Mike is a Class 3 dealer who sells NFA items. Included are SBRs & silencers. Excellent customer service is a priority here, which I can attest to; Mike is extremely friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. A native of New Jersey, his business is his passion. In three decades of buying from (or just browsing) gun stores, he is definitely the most welcoming owner I've encountered. Over the phone, I honestly felt as though I was talking w/ a friend. This business has been open since October 2012. It is open 11 AM till 4 PM on Saturdays, & Sundays by appointment. Weekday hours are 11 AM till 6:30 PM. Although a small store, different types of weaponry & ammo are available on site or through ordering. I drove 3 hours south to Naples to attend a gun show over a weekend, & returned to Naples after the three-day minimum mandatory waiting period. The gun show had delivered my gun to Mike's to hold. My background check was completed almost immediately. I did not select Mike's Firearms for this transfer transaction; however, I am VERY PLEASED the gun show distributor did! My over-the-phone & in-person experiences w/ Mike & his shop have been EXCELLENT! (The woman working w/ him was genuinely friendly; I apologize for not catching her name.)
