Javier, the owner, was paid over $7k for labor on an OEM engine rebuild, yet my performance car left the shop with a dead battery and a coolant leak. Not only did the shop owner try to weasel out of the 'warranty' by telling me I would have to pay for a coolant system repair, but he overbilled me. After agreeing on a rate of $125/hr the final bill states $169/hr which created about $1000 profit. Irresponsible comes from leaving my car smelling like shop oil/grease. Every time I go to the shop I'm getting the run around about why this not complete. So I send my tow truck after It's obvious these folks are wasting my time. He try to double my balance I owe. He charged me Double for the same items on one receipt. Then charged me for parts I purchased on another one. I put my paperwork together with a family attorney and he told me I better go get my Truck NOW! They had a old nasty lady in the front. She accused me of taking my parts from the shop. Then when I explained to her that she was wrong, she put me out her office with aggressive behavior. This was a deliberate attempt to get me out of character. At that moment I knew it's something funny going on here. Don't let them waist your time. Give them a deadline time to complete any work they do. It's always a new face working there every other week. Also some of my parts were misplaced in this shop and Larry told me he didn't have my parts. That's when the old nasty lady accused me of taking them. When they saw how angry I was getting about my parts his help started locating everything that was missing while Im snapping. RED FLAG! Sorry to report that this business has closed due to the death of the owner, Ken, in early 2022. I…read moream very sad to learn this news, since I had recommended them to another friend, and wondered why they don't answer the phone. I stopped by the other day, and there are cars parked inside a locked gate, but no signs of life anywhere. Ken and H&M had been recommended to me by another friend when a different mechanic's repair of my 2003 Honda Accord ended up with sludge in my engine. (I had used that previous Honda-only mechanic for many years, but then stopped using them after they messed up my car. I couldn't trust them anymore.) Ken told me that I would have been better off replacing my engine instead of repairing it, and that it would have cost about the same, or even less, to do that. Ken and H&M were always honest and reliable. I have since traded in that old Honda Accord for a new one, and was looking forward to going back to Ken and H&M after my manufacturer's service contract on my new car expired. Sadly, due to Ken's death and the closing of this business, I will need to find a different mechanic if I don't want to continue using the Honda dealer where I purchased my new car. The store I bought the battery from said that the battery needed charging, but I knew better since it wouldn't hold any charge since after driving for 30 minutes. Once he came and did the diagnostic he said he would try to find the part for her vehicle. The next day or so he informed us that he was unable to find the part and it would have to be ordered. I asked him if he could order it because mechanics usually get a better price, as well as to insure we had the correct part. He told me he was unable to find the part at the auto store or the pull apart and we would have to do it. We found the part for $150 and sent him a screenshot of it and he confirmed it was the correct part. After ordering the part, I found another mechanic to because I wasn't feeling great about our interaction when asking him about the part. The other mechanic came to put the brake line on but the break line,Teejay confirmed was the right part, did not fit. Hence, why I previously asked him to order it. Nonetheless, the other mechanic said he would get the part himself. He was able to find the part at several locations as well as pull apart. He got the part for $12. Once we were able to get everything taken care of I reached out to Teejay to see if he would refund the money that was to be applied to the labor. He said he would not refund the the money he would have only applied that to the labor. I said ok but also the part you said we needed was incorrect. He became argumentative and rude about the whole situation. I can understand if you have a no refund policy as far as the diagnosis goes, but there is no reason to be rude and, hostile about it. He was definitely unprofessional as far as my overall experience goes, even when asking about him ordering the part. Professionalisim goes a long way when providing a service. *and if you read some of his responses to the other reviews the tone says it all *never asked for anything for free. I asked for the refund for what he said he would apply to the labor. And AGAIN, if that is the policy, no worries. My overall point was the rudeness and unprofessional, as highlighted in his response. Never the money.

They told me it was the actuator and the repair cost was over $500 dollars. When I asked them did the A/C compressor check out they told me they had not gotten that far. I asked them why you would check out a minor system over a major component.
