I'm one of those people who are ALWAYS working on projects on my house. I constantly watch "fixer" shows and swear Joanna Gaines is my BFF. So I get a lot of DIY related posts on my timeline when I'm scrolling through my social media platforms. We just completed a bathroom remodel with Coast Design & Build and MILA Tile Kitchen Bath. Our bathroom turned out beautifully! We are so pleased with the end product. We have worked with many different contractors and remodel teams throughout the years, and we highly recommend Coast Design & Build and MILA. They take pride in their product/service and have a wonderful willingness to work with you to achieve exactly what you want. If you are a busy person and would like them to manage all the details, you can choose from their selection of fixtures and materials and they will run with it, but if you want to micromanage your project (as we did) and try different design styles, they allow you the freedom and support to do that as well. MILA is a true one stop shop. They have a beautiful showroom (which is difficult to find in Bakersfield) to help you visualize options available to you. We love the bathroom vanity that we purchased through them! It is such a strength of the 2 companies (MILA and Coast Design & Build) that they are sister companies. It really makes it so much easier for the customer to be able to pull together the dream bathroom or kitchen that they are desiring. We enjoyed working with Deisy (design specialist) to help us make decisions about the materials and fixtures for our remodel. And thank you to Antonette who makes the whole process run smoothly. I went in to the showroom to look for quartz to remodel our kitchen counters, and he was so helpful, replied to all of my questions promptly, and even found the specific backsplash tile i wanted that wasn't something they already carried and got me a great price :). I've been wanting to have my Kitchen and Powder Room upgraded and updated for sometime now and when I had the opportunity to have this done, I contacted #CoastDesign&Build after reading all the reviews and the before and after photos on their portfolios. Met up with Roee , Yomi and assured me the job will get it done. There were many challenges that we encountered as we started the project. One, I was not physically present as I went overseas for 12 days. Two, which is the most problematic we encountered was when the team were getting the quartz slabs, the third party store we brought it from damaged all 3 slabs as they were transferring it to deliver it to the team. It caused so much delays and the team has to wait for additional week to get the slabs reordered pressuring the store to have them available ASAP which caused the Third challenge, to finish it on time for a party planned in the next few days . Yomi and the team worked hard to meet this challenges working overtime and Roee utilized all the manpower they can get and for that I was extremely appreciative and thankful. Workmanship was at par and exceeded my expectations and the team are friendly and good to work with despite meeting those stress and challenges. They worked above and beyond and even some to meet those goals. Definitely will recommend their services and for our future projects. read more
