DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! I should have known when I saw the 3.7 star rating on Yelp. But since I was being gifted a treatment, I decided to schedule anyway. The second red flag should have been the incredibly offputting receptionist that I spoke with to schedule my appointment. I should have listened to my gut, but nonetheless I scheduled. Needless to say, my gut was right and I did not receive the treatment I requested. If you go to a spa, aesthetics, or other establishment for relaxation, the last thing you want is to have to micromanage the appointment to ensure you're getting what you requested. They did not charge me for the $6 dollar Kirkland mask they put on me, so I gotta give them that, but my time is by far my most valuable asset. This was a terrible experience and a huge waste of time. I will never return. Seek alternatives. read more

Quality, attentive care is worth any amount of waiting. It happens that I was seen relatively promptly for my new patient appointment with PA George, but I just want to remind the people reading the negative comments about wait times that humans are not widgets and none of you knows what goes on behind the scenes at any particular medical office. If you want prompt, drive-thru service, you might get exactly that level of medical care. If you want thorough individualized care, you just have to put up with waiting sometimes. People seem to think medical people run behind because they don't care about you. Actually, the opposite is often the case, the providers who take extra time when a visit is more complex than anticipated or to listen to and answer questions run behind exactly because they care about you. I consider it MY responsibility to carve out enough time in my day to allow for unanticipated delays at medical offices and to prevent ME getting frustrated by waiting. In exchange, I expect an opportunity to discuss my problems/concerns and have my questions answered thoroughly. If it turns out that everything cannot be addressed at one visit, I will happily make an appointment for a return visit. No matter how short the wait is, if I don't feel my visit was thorough, I will not return to that provider. I don't eat at McDonald's and I don't tolerate drive-thru medical care. I am willing to wait as needed for quality care. I bring something entertaining to occupy my time in the waiting room and always expect delays, so that I'm pleasantly surprised when I get done "early". read more

This isn't about quality of care by the doctors because I wouldn't know. After being a "patient" of Bogart for several years, I have to admit, I've never laid eyes on her. Not having any urgent problems over the years, I figured I would accept that, unless and until I had a serious need. Well, right now I do. I was told they're booking a month out - even the physician's assistant. Even she was too busy to bother to call me. She had her assistant call and tell me to go to my primary (now there's a joke - she's nothing more than a triage service herself) or to a walk-in clinic. No. I'll do better than that. I'm going to find a small practice where I can actually be treated like a patient. I should have taken the hint when I saw the waiting room full of ads for botox. My dog is unresponsive next door at blue pearl veterinarian, which by the way is fantastic, and they aren't letting anyone in unless your dog is getting put down. I made an appt here for my husband, my daughter & myself. We have been to the office on four occasions now & have had to wait upwards of an hour each time. My daughter suffers from psoriasis, unfortunately during her checkup she didn't have many outbreak spots except for on and around her scalp. The doctor insisted she had a case of dandruff , prescribed a special shampoo & a topical ointment. Unbelievable! My husband has had two full body check ups & was pleased. I had the same with no complaint. However I also had my 1st laser treatment to remove brown & red spots & broken cap. on my face. At the time I made it very clear that I was traveling & attending a business convention in a week & was concerned about the healing time. I was assured the bruising on my face would be gone in a few days. The bruising was so severe that it took nearly 1-1/2 months to dissolve. The laser results aren't even obvious. Was a patient for many years. Stay away. Go to a real practice where doctors treat you instead of nurses. The nurses are hesitant to treat cysts and other skin problems (saying "they'll just go away"). The prescriptions for psoriasis are ineffective and outdated. The whole office has a major attitude problem. Especially reception and office managers. One time, they were backed-up, and I actually saw Dr. Milam for the first time. She seemed annoyed and didn't want to hear about the details of my condition. She rushed through the app't and did the bare minimum. Now, I go to a fantastic dermatologist who gave me all new prescriptions. Their office contacted my insurance company to make sure everything was covered. It was a pleasure! One last point: a nurse at Milam's office gave me a sample of a new skin medication and said if I wanted to renew it - the cost is $745! Meanwhile, my new dermatologist got my insurance company to pay for it with zero co-pay!! Milam Bogart has a lot to learn about how to treat patients properly. Instead of treating patients like adversaries; they need to show concern for their patients. Went for annual checkup. The nurse tried to cut me numerous times because I'm 86 and have accumulated many scars. I asked a second nurse that was there " does she know the difference between and old scar and something suspect" and she rolled her eyes and shook her hear. While I was occupies this nurse took a scalpel and dug deep into the middle of my ankle. I had told her the spot on my ankle was just a little scar but she wanted to cut me. I spent the next 5 month in extreme pain, 6 weeks in Memorial trauma center, 3 skin grafts and more than $100.000.00 in doctors bills. When I went to court they dismissed case because in Florida the screwy laws protect doctors from malpractice. read more

They were dishonest, unethical, and unprofessional in how they handled my interview and shadowing process. The PA Brooke is kind and after going to a previous dermatologist in Sarasota, she gave my husband a medication that finally worked! I would give her 5 stars! Very sweet and smart! The checkout staff was a little difficult to work with. We were locked in when we tried to leave and it was happening to everyone we watched. I hope they change that part of the office. The Dr is efficient, no nonsense and gets the job done. All woman office and runs pretty smoothly. Very difficult to get another appointment. The office itself is very old and dated. The dermatologist doesn't take new patients. Even though the PA is sweet, sometimes you want to speak to the physician. We will look for a new place to go where we can see the doctor when needed. read more
