People were nice but felt very transactional. I spent $150 for a full body check and it felt like they were trying to push me out the door as soon as I was called back. Visit lasted about 5 minutes with lots of confusion. I tried to ask as much questions as I could but the doctor was quick to downplay everything and leave the room. I had to remind the physician assistant on one of the medicines the doctor recommended for me, in addition the instructions that were given to the physician assistant were very confusing and vague. I tried to get clarification from her and she was confused as well. All in all, this could have been avoided if they took their time. They also weren't busy at all. This practice runs like a Swiss watch. Everyone is very professional and courteous. I rarely spend more the 20 minutes from walking in the door to getting back in my car. I've had some skin issues but they keep me healthy. If I see something that looks like it might be a problem, I call them and get in really quickly. Kudos to both Dr. O'Donahue and whoever his office manager is for running such an efficient and professional practice. I wish all doctors' offices were like this. I was pleased with my Botox from Diane. However I truly felt dr O' Donoghue was condescending , short and quick when I went in for a recheck on my service . I wasn't happy with my results of the procedure at all. I was a new patient but not new to the treatments. I had been going for years to a dermatologist, before moving here. After considerable thought, we are now writing this review. Praise should be given for the expeditious appointment for examination of my family member's 3/4 inch wide mole on his back-- just 4 days. The exam done by the physician's assistant Jamie was slow careful with his face about 10 inches above his skin - - a good full body exam. We were first time patients. The Interior of the waiting room was definitely created by an excellent interior designer as well as the M/F restroom - - all truly beautiful with great attention to detail. The practice includes a sizeable amount of cosmetic dermatology treatments, laser hair removal, special treatment creams and makeup. Our problem was (1) the 50 minute wait sitting in the small exam room (2) zero ventilation, almost no air conditioning thus getting hot -- we had to take off our masks (3) no mask worn by the PA (4) and we asked a staff member after 45 minutes of waiting to please give us more air conditioning in the small exam room-- nothing happened. Two years ago, my family member had a different dermatologist in Sarasota and this doctor was more meticulous in her careful full body exam, took notes and photos for the medical file. We have spent the last 20 years seeing dermatologists at Mayo Clinic, Rochester Mn because of past skin moze cancer. Both of us are unfortunately extremely at risk for Covid because of asthma, previous cancers. The practice MUST work on providing much better air circulation in their truly beautiful physical plant and wear masks in these extreme ( july '20) Covid times throughout Florida. Terrible first (and last) experience. I found Dr. O'Donoghue to be rude, condescending, and very unprofessional. Charged me $600+ to make my left eye look like Dr Spock and my right eye closed shut. The PA I saw was misleading in explaining a treatment plan. Was told to return in 2 weeks for further treatment. Only to return and be seen/talked to for less than 2min. I would recommend finding a provider that cares more about their patients and their time. read more

I had my fist appt yesterday and everyone was so nice and kind which is unfortunately not something I experience often in other medical facilities. Lori did my Laser Hair removal and she made me feel so comfortable and really supported through the process. I did not catch the name of the girl who made my appt and also checked me out but she was a real gem! I also suffer from migraine and when I told Lori this she turned down the lights for me which I really appreciated. All in all I was very pleased from making the appt through to check out- I plan to continue with this practice and take advantage of some of the other amazing skin care services they offer. It seems very hard to find medical professionals who see you as a person and not a number- but when I left yesterday I felt the staff had really given me the time and care I needed. 5+ stars! read more

At the end of my consult the doctor asked "you know Mandy"? I do know a Many, it's someone I used to work with and I am not fond of her and I DID NOT know she worked here. Clearly she was gossiping about me throughout the office for him to ask me that at the end of our 15 minute conversation. I do not recommend going here because of this particular MEDICAL ASSISTANT. The woman Mandy, if she checks you in before the doctor be sure to know she gossips about every patient she meets. She is very rude and makes fun of everyone behind their backs. Which I think is uncalled for considering you are working in a MEDICAL OFFICE! read more

I recently made a visit to check a spot on my leg. I was inspected for skin cancer and given a good professional opinion. It turned out one of my bug bites never went away and tissue formed around it. Not a big deal after all. I am 52 years old and I had what I will call the "liquid facelift" - fillers, Botox and IPL with Dr. O'Donoghue. He did an unbelievable job and I truly look 10 years younger! Before I got went to him, I thought my only hope was to get a facelift, but now I am completely happy with my forehead and eyes (deep wrinkles gone from Botox), skin tone (blotches, red tone gone from IPL) and marionette lines/jowls gone from fillers. Been there for the same problem a bunch of times and finally gave up. This place charges you for things they did not do. Save yourself the hassle. A 20+ minute visit with a 20 minute wait $ 400. Just for a checkup. This place will rob you and your insurance and you will have to come back for the same thing again! Also people who come in an hour late they will let stay and which messes up the next persons visit. Be prepared to be sold sun block to cosmetics right after your visit. My price from the price they told me at the register which whom the girl was literally saying crap about the patient on the phone and rolled her eyes. read more

In order to protect the supervisor from the mistake written, stating that I had a history of skin cancer, and their refusal to correct the mistake, which cost me $$$$$ with the insurance company, I'm broke! I do NOT recommend this dermatology. Not only were the staff members rude, but i wanted to see dr Odonoghue and didnt get to see him. Also the lady i saw was very impatient and rude. She doesnt "listen" to what people say and get frustrated easily! vI dont think these kinds of people suit for this type of jobs.They kicked me out because i asked to see their manager and then they still sent me a hugh bill. read more
