The first specialist I saw, just wanted to do surgery right away, but couldn't tell me what my diagnosis was. That terrified me! Then we found Dr Biggers. He has the best bedside manner. He's direct, but gentle and he really listened to me. He was extremely helpful. He knew I didn't want surgery so we did a series of tests and physical therapy and exhausted all other options until surgery was it. He was patient, kind and gentle, yet thorough. Out of all the specialists we saw for my condition, Dr Biggers was truly the best. He also has great staff in his office (in the surgery center, not so much....). Before that time, I was a patient of a large medical practice in Issaquah for over a decade. I've always tried to eat well and stay fit through exercise. So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. After I saw Dr Woodall, I learned for the first time that there were steps that I could take to address the underlying causes of my high biomarkers. The steps that I have taken include both medicines as well as nutritional supplements based on scientific knowledge and lab testing of vitamins and nutrients my body is not absorbing well.
