It wiped the floor, so I started looking up alteration places that were close by and I couldn't find one lol so I drove past Tina's and ended up walking in. I don't know it just looked like the type of shopping center that would have an alterations situation. AND I WAS RIGHT. But I walked into Tina's. I was greeted immediately. The whole process took less than five minutes. I told her I had this really nice jacket that I just bought and it drug the floor. She asked how much I wanted to be taken up and I told her 1 inch so she had me put the jacket on stand in the mirror and she showed me 1 inch lol it was not enough so we went up 2 inches. I asked her if she was just going to fold it under and stitch it and she told me no she's going to cut everything, cut the fabric and sew it how the jacket is originally stitched. I will not be able to tell the difference. That is exactly what they did and now the cut is the perfect length and it looks seamless. Definitely better than me just going to buy a piece of double-sided fabric tape and trying to fold it in on itself and hope it holds. The service was $60 which is about normal and I didn't know what to expect on the timeframe, but they told me to come back in a week which I thought might've been a little long for 2 inches but I have never had anything altered. And also they did look like they had quite a bit of business in there waiting to be altered. But it definitely was ready by the day she told me to come back. I asked her if I need to call her they call me she said no you could walk in on Wednesday and pick it up. It definitely was ready and I lost my ticket and I described my item to her and she went to get it for me no problem. If I need anything, I'll be back. They did a great job.

I had to put half down I was in shock and actually shaking, as I paid that for my daughter's wedding dress to be altered and hemmed. I should've in my right mind told them no way, but I felt guilt as they already pinned it. Then when I picked it up, I did not know there was a 3% charge for using a credit card. Another wasteful expense. If you have all the money in the world go for it, just remember you still are being ripped off and the quality is no different than any other alteration shop! Plus very bossy to their help sadly.

I've had multiple bridesmaid dresses altered here so I was confident in bringing her my wedding…read moredress to alter, but brides beware! I brought her my dress and explained in detail the alteration I wanted. It needed to be hemmed and taken in. I returned a few weeks later and tried on the dress and was completely heartbroken by how different the dress was. The lines and structure of the dress had completely changed and I could hardly get into the dress. It was so uncomfortable and I felt horrible in it. At this point though we were stuck as other seamstresses I called wouldn't touch a dress someone else had worked on. I tried to trust the process but ultimately it ended up costing over a thousand dollars and I ended up with a dress I hated. I felt horrible having my parents pay for a dress alteration that turned out so bad. Ultimately Bella didn't listen to what I wanted in a dress and just did what she wanted and what she felt would look good but that wasn't how I wanted to look on my wedding day. If you want to be heard and understood and feel good in your dress don't go here. I just wish we could get our money back. Oh and she says she'll give you a discount if you pay cash, but what she charges is robbery.

This family-owned business has done two alterations for me and I'm very satisfied with the quality,…read moreservice, timeliness and prices. They take card transactions but in some cases, if you're rushing an order, they take cash. Things you should know: I. PARKING The alteration shop is within the Medlock Village Shopping Center plaza. There's a free private parking lot out front with available spaces. II. SERVICE Excellent ~ my first visit here was a stressful situation where I needed a bridesmaid dress altered ASAP. Jenny calmed my anxiety by reassuring me she could get it done for me and ready to pick up by the next day. They always have you try on the altered clothing before for your input & after the adjustment to make sure it fits accordingly. III. QUALITY Out of the two items they've altered, I couldn't even see where the new stitch work was made. I typically struggle with pants fitting my waist but the fit was perfect after Medlock Alterations did their changes to my slacks

I got a fast response via message from them so I decided to give them a try. They told me to bring the right shoes so they could measure accurately. I wouldn't have thought of that! The location is easy to find right off 141 and parking is a breeze in front. They have good hours, open til 630 and even open on weekend. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and her mom- by name since I'd made a arranged time they were expecting us! There was a really nice arrangement of masks while we waited to browse. Some of these were made with beautiful fabrics for formal events and in all the colors you could dream of. My daughter put on the gown for measuring and she was made to feel comfortable (this was her very first experience at a tailor service.) she was complimented on her look as well. The dress was ready in a quick timeframe and absolutely on time for our event. My daughter was pleased with the result- and attention to detail. The hem looks extremely professional. I recommend this business and will be back soon with more alterations.
