Seats, the number thereof, may sometimes tell the whole story. Two. Outside. Underneath a just-long-enough awning to cover us from the spunky pitter patter of the outside rain. Inside nearly entire restaurant was the kitchen, filled neatly with a kind of organized chaos that you'd only find in a lovely Persian woman's home. It smelled of garlic and herbs, freshly baked goods and warm doughy meats. A small corner sofa in the chair. It did not belong yet said so much more than any other furniture could have said. We sat outside 'neath the awning, looking onto the dusky silted night. The warmth at the center of our table smelled of a home.

Milano kabob is so good! This is probably the crispiest falafel I've ever had. I've found that often falafel gets a bit soggy when you do takeout but this was surprisingly still very crunchy when I got home. It came with beans and a side sized version of cold salad with vegetables. The vegetables in the entree and the side salad felt a bit redundant as they were more or less the same veggies, but tasty nonetheless. Every ingredient seems so fresh and the portion sizes are big. Only complaint is they don't give you enough sauce for the size of the entree!

Milano Kabob is my newest obsession! All of the food is so fresh and delicious. You're able to get an incredible meal without needing to feel like you have to roll back to your car. The restaurant is tiny but they do have a get seats inside and 3 tables outside. It's no frills where the highlight is the incredible food. We tried it all and my favorites were: * Hummus * Mint Lemonade * Chicken Kabobs * Dubai Strawberries

Fresh, friendly, flavorful. Simple words, but also heavy, especially when it comes to a restaurant. Milano is a bit off the beaten path in the Loop; a literal hidden gem. The workers were mad friendly. Even the cook came out and chatted with me. Food was cooked to order. The fired it up, and boom, smoking hot as it entered my mouth. The flavors were wonderful. The tikka chicken was superb. The pita was one of the best I have had! Light, fluffy, slightly doughy. Their sauce... like a mix between tziki and ranch... chef's kiss. Bursting with dill and garlic. Absolutely superb! Milano is a great spot for an easy takeout that is light on the stomach and will leave you craving more! Oh, the prices are cheap too

Just meh...someone told me about this off the main street place. Raved about their Dubai cannoli and food so I had to try it. I had the cannoli over the weekend. It looked delicious but was just ok. The filling was thick and not sweet enough. I went back today for food. I called my order in. When I arrived I was greeted as I walked in. It's a small clean place. My order was also waiting on the counter. I ordered the lamb kebab plate with rice, pita, and garlic sauce. The food smelled yummy on my drive home. Once I made it home I plated my dinner. I tasted the garlic sauce. It tasted like mayo. The pita was a pita I've never had. Very thin and a little sweet. Overall the food lacked flavor. I sprinkled Greek seasoning on everything and mixed in the garlic sauce. The two made the food palatable. For the meat to appear to marinate in seasonings in the case...flavorless and tough.

Today my boss and I went here to pick lunch for the first time. She got chicken tikka sandwich and liked it. I got falafel. I was definitely surprised about their shape. I asked to replace the mango sauce for garlic sauce and was charged $1 for it. The falafels are tasty and garlic sauce too, but because I got this to go and drove for 20 mins the garnish looks very unappetizing.

The food was amazing! The platter was delicious, chicken, steak and lamb. The service was so friendly and it's in a very nice quaint space. The Dubai chocolate cup was the best!

The kofta kabob, fries and falafel side. Phenomenal all around.

This tiny little place is amazing. We had a lamb kofta kebab sandwich and the chicken tikka kebab. Both were absolutely incredible. They each came with delicious fries. We also had a side of falafel. My son also got the lemonade and loved it. We will definitely be back even though we live in the city and it's a hike. Just delicious, with friendly service.

We tried Milano Kabob for the first time tonight. We walked in to do a takeout order and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There isn't much space to sit inside so this is more of a takeout situation currently. Our food took about 15 minutes and we watched them make everything fresh. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Plate with the Iraqi Salad, the Falafel Sandwich with fries, the Baba Ganoush, a green dream smoothie and a piece of baklava. Everything was really tasty and made to order. I especially enjoyed the Baba Ganoush. There were lots of delicious looking desserts and I can't wait to come back and try more!

Got the mixed app plate. Hummus is solid. Jajeek is like Tzaziki, with lots of cucumber. Baba Ganoush has pomegranate seeds, and is the star of the dips. Kubba are the little spring roll things, fried with ground meat. Sambosa are the hush puppy looking ones with the same meat. Falafel is the best I have had. Just the right consistency and moisture. Can be dipped in everything. Bread is Samoon. Really good thick flatbread. I'll definitely be back.

Small shop with seats inside for to go orders and 1 table outside to dine. Wonderfully displayed desserts and kabobs. My food was fresh and delicious. I have been twice in one month. The salad and beans that accompany this meal aren't pictured. Highly recommend this place!

    Mshakal Sandwich

Great, quality food. The skewers are prepared fresh for their sandwiches and plates. Greta selection of desserts as well. The employees are kind and helpful. Love the decor inside, definitely more of a takeout spot but there are a few tables. A great successor to Al tarboush deli.

We had not been there since having new ownership and hoped it had not changed in taste and quality. There was absolutely no need to be concerned...it was possibly even more delicious. Located in a strip mall next to a Fresh Thyme Market, Peri Peri has a pretty nondescript dining area. It is clean and comfortable, and perfectly fine for a counter service establishment. The owner took our order and went out of his way to help me select a "milder than mild" sauce. I am no longer able to tolerate very spicy foods which is a shame because the peri sauce is extremely flavorful. My husband always opts for the spiciest or nearly spiciest option and had his usual 1/4 dark chicken but chose flame-grilled corn on the cob, which was good but not the same as his usual rice. I decided to opt for the Falafel Rice with the lemon pepper sauce. I was not disappointed. The owner also provided us with a generous serving of hummus and pita on the house - a nice complement to the meal. I love that the food is prepared fresh and not sitting there waiting for me. It may take a bit of time but it is worth it. The new owner and staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions. The food is very good. If you haven't already, I highly recommend dropping in and giving them a try. I think your taste buds will thank you!

Cheese-stuffed chicken nuggets... need I say more? Crispy, juicy, cheesy perfection. I'll definitely be ordering those again. I haven't had a single side dish or dessert here that I didn't love. Everything is consistently good, which is rare. On top of that, the service is always great and the restaurant is very clean, which makes the whole experience even better. If you're craving bold, flavorful food that actually delivers every time, this place is it. Highly recommend!

Not really conducive to eat in, it's not a totally comfortable vibe. But we did! As well as a few other people that came at the same time. The service was great! Server guy, I'm not sure what to call him, was extremely attentive, personable and did pretty much all the running around while we were there. He handled all the tables, handled the people picking up food for take out, and did it all smoothly. The food really was amazing. Again, see the pictures I posted. We over ordered, on purpose, to try a little of a lot of things. The corn soup was different, but good. Seems to be a mix of a few cans of cream corn, broth, and a few chicken bits (if you ordered chicken). We found it pleasant. The fried spinach was amazing. The yellow curry was amazing. The Mongolian beef was amazing. Thank you for the rice, there was quite a bit of it and the fried shrimp (I forget the official name...fried shrimp?) off the appetizer menu) was AMAZING. We will definitely go back. Even if it's just take out. I must say....we took the left overs home and they made the trip just fine and were still good as left overs. Highly recommend.
