I'm always a little skeptical of non BBB businesses. When doing business that requires warranty work, its always a good idea to cross reference yelp with the BBB website to make sure there are no complaints lodged against a company. That being said, Tint my Ride had no complaints that I saw. The place is located in the east side of Denver and I walked in the set up and it was incredibly professional. My eyes told me that the techs were good at their craft. I will say they sucked me in with a groupon then upselled me to better tint. But even with that I paid 200 for a complete tint job with a decent grade tint. Which I believe is as competitive as it gets in Denver. I have no complaints on the quality of work and I do believe they will make mistakes right, so they are all right. read more

Bought a $45 Living Social voucher for 2 window tints for our vehicle. Scheduling the appointment was super-easy, and the guy on the phone was very professional. Showed up at my given time and was met by a friendly staff, again very professional. I had a 9am appointment, so I was the first job of the day. They started work immediately and I sat and waited. Not sure if it's standard, as this was the first car I've gotten tinted somewhere, but it took a little over 2 hours until the windows were finished. They did a great job on the tinting, both windows look great. I didn't notice until I stopped on the way home that both doors and mirrors of my vehicle were coated in a sticky run-off residue of whatever they spray on the windows to cure them. It came off fairly easy with a simple spray wax application, but I'd think they would take the time to give the doors a quick wipe-down before turning it over to the customer. Not a big deal. All in all, a really good experience. Hard to find people under 25 that have customer service skills, but TMR scored some great young professionals and I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

I've brought SIX of my vehicles here and have sent about five referrals. I've been coming here for almost a decade. I requested a chrome delete and window tint today and on the phone, I was told that they need to see it to know the cost. When I get there (after waiting two weeks for my appointment) they look at it and say they can't do it. Have me come in PRIOR to my appointment to assess this, not after having me wait two weeks. You've lost a loyal customer. I work for a dealership and have sent countless people here. That won't be happening anymore. I'd appreciate a call from management. read more

I would highly recommend this company. Their pricing was better than expected, and they did an excellent job with the installation. Day 1 of having the tint installed, I mistakenly rolled down the window even though you are supposed to wait 3-5 days. After doing so, I noticed a scratch in the tint and took it back in to have them re-do that window. After looking at the window, they informed me that it appeared to be a crease from the installation and they were going to fix it free of charge. Honesty goes a long way, especially when I was under the assumption I caused the tint to be damaged. After many business transactions, I think it's fair to say that not all companies would have told me that. Definitely give then a shot if you are looking to have your windows tinted. read more

Everyone's experience is different but my ONLY experience w/Tint My Ride was not good. Based on Yelp's reviews, I chose Tint My ride out of the 4 Tint companies in the Denver area advertising on Groupon. I selected the two front windows for my 4Runner. I bought the groupon, made an appointment for Saturday, the lady who took my call was super nice and polite. I arrived at 9am, thinking the car would be done in an hour, no, they advised to leave it there and they'd call when done. That did not work w/my schedule for that day so I rescheduled for Wed next week @2:30pm. I had some work done at the Toyota shop next to Tint My Ride the day before and when completed they brought the keys over at 1pm Wednesday, I arrived at 4pm thinking the car was done. It was not. They advised it'd be done in an hour, i left and came back at 5pm, they said it was still not done due to some emergencies w/one of the shop technicians and that it'd be done in another hour. I agreed and left, came back at 6pm and the car was still not done and they'd said perhaps another hour, at that point I have spent over 2 hours waiting for my car, and it has been in their shop for close to 4 hours for two front windows tint. I am frustrated I wasted two days here and could've gotten this done elsewhere and at the end of the day, wasted my time. I believe this could've been handled better and not a way to run a small business that solely depends on word on mouth from good customer experiences. I know businesses don't make a lot of $ on Groupon, but rather it is a marketing cost, in this experience, it did the exact opposite as instead of gaining new customers, and spreading the word, it has created a dissatisfied customer. I hope the business owner recognizes this and changes how they handle customers and setting correct expectations. read more

I wish I could do less than one star. AWFUL customer service. Never answer the phone when called. We dropped off our car at 9am like instructed and was told our car would be done by 3. Came to pick it up only to figure out they haven't even started. Absolute crap. 6 hours later and nothing has been done and it wasn't even busy on the outside. Immediately took the car back. Another note is the female employees. It is extremely inappropriate to see the way they dress. Like I believe that they should respect their customers enough to wear more. Not to mention, I found that their employees were smoking cigarettes right outside my brand new car with our car windows down. Completely and utterly disrespectful. This is a late review. I had my Blue Ford Fusion SE 2017 tinted at TintMyRide on October 20th 2018. I just want to share with yelp users my great experience at the shop. They did an amazing job on tinting my car which was long overdue because I could not find a shop who was willing to accomodate my short notice as I have a very unpredictable work schedule. Tintmyride squeezed me in despite a very short notice. They explained to me in sufficient and reasonable details my tint options and helped me made an excellent choice. 1 month after having the tint installed on all my car windows, I am very pleased and satisfied with the outcome. It is true what is said that you get exactly what you pay! Beware and pay attention as I know for a fact I am not the only one in this situation.. I bought a brand new car on Friday 12/3 and brought it "Tint my ride" on Monday mind your this car is a gift for my wife for Christmas which was not been driven nor washed yet and I wanted to make sure it's tinted before she received it! The evening of the tint being completed I as any normal person checked out the tint and went home, the car is parked isolated in a garage with nothing else. In the morning when leaving for work when I started looking at the car closer to my disappointment I noticed the horrible scratches on both sides of the back of the car, not deep but the kind of scratches you would find when taking a car through a wash with brushed or leaning on the car with rough edges, clothes etc... clearly I knew where that came from! I called tint my ride and politely explained the situation and was told the video will be reviewed and someone would call me back, no one called me back.. I had to call again twice and only then someone decided to call me back and say "we didn't scratch your car" so I asked for him to send me a video of just my car so I can review it, he said no. He said we are a window tint shop, what do you want me to do. I simply stated I want to have this fixed therefore I want to take my car to a professional shop to have only those areas buffed out.. he said no, I don't want to take a loss...!!! I asked what kind of a business doesn't take responsible for their mistake? He said, I can have one of my guys buff it out to which I said, you just told me you're a window tint shop and what do I want you to do? I asked if "his guy is insured" his reply was..I see where you are going with this.. Excuse me? I want my car fixed not botched more then it already is!!! He ended up hanging up on a client who paid a full price and didn't ask for money back but asked for the scratches to be fixed. Guys...make sure you pay close attention and keep in mind just because a business has a high amount of reviews doesn't mean that this business is worth the disrespect, headache and more money!!! read more

Bought a groupon for a clear bra. I upgraded to have the bumper, fenders, and mirrors done. Walked around the car with the front desk girl and pointed at all the parts of the car receiving the clear bra. Paid in advanced for the service and extra $270 and when I picked my car up the bumper wasn't done. They had nothing to say about except she didn't say that was included. I would have never spent the extra $270 knowing the bumper wasn't getting done. They scammed me out of the extra money. It's unfortunate because I have referred a lot of people here for good service and now I will be doing the exact opposite. read more

I would give less than 1 star if I could. I scheduled my appointment prior and went in to have my windows tinted. I was at the front desk for over 30 minutes and was never greeted. Their phone was ringing off the hook and no one ever came to answer. So I left and will NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you're thinking of going here, don't. Their prices are comparable to any other place in the area. Don't get sucked in by their Groupon deals, purchasing the Groupon would've actually made my window tinting more expensive. I called them to get my car tinted. They had the best price for what I wanted, lifetime warranty, and the darkest tint I could get. They took great care of my car. There was no dirt, damage or changes inside of it. The tint looks amazing. They did very well, even if it had any errors they said I can bring it back in. I purchased the Groupon to tint 5 windows. I paid $95 for a service worth $214 (as listed on Groupon). I decided I would upgrade to the premium which is $275. Instead of charging me the difference $275-$214 ($61) they charged $135. They said that's how business works and that my logic is stupid and doesn't make sense. I wish I would have read some of the other reviews because I apparently am not the only one who ran into this Groupon scam. After they finished tinting my windows I found out I also didn't get what I asked for. I requested 15s on my windows but instead they put 15s on the front windows and 5s on all the other windows read more

If I could have left zero stars I would have. After I was finally able to wash it and take a look at the work, I noticed air bubbles under the clear bra. I took it in right away and spoke to the owner. He was very nice and said he would take care of it. We had a scheduling issue at first but he got me in a few days later. The owner was not in today when I brought it in to be fixed. They drove it around to examin and told me it was pre-existing damage. I hand wax my vehicle and would have noticed rock chips. It's a brand new vehicle. I'm extremely disappointed in this company and will make sure everyone I know, knows how they operate. And if what they are telling me is true, why didn't they let me know this right away? As obvious as they say this is, they would have seen the "rock chips". I call BS on this. My experience here roughly a month ago was significantly less than okay. I dropped my vehicle off on Friday night for a detailing on Saturday. Saturday morning at around 10 I got a call stating that my reservation in their system didn't have details as to what they were supposed to be doing with my car. This perturbed me because not a week before I had called to confirm, and they said all was in order. When I called back to discuss what I had previously paid for- the silver package- not only did they not know what that was (even though I had booked the package IN HOUSE with them), they didn't have any record of me having paid for anything with the reservation either, which I had done upon booking about 2 months prior, and they wanted to charge me another $200 because THEY had lost the information! Lucky for me I kept the emailed record and was able to dodge that.. When I picked my car up on the following Monday, the mats were missing from my car and there was a random plastic piece just sitting in the foot area in the back. When I inquired about my mats, the detailer claimed that I hadn't had them when I dropped my car off, essentially accusing me of lying. Oh but wait! The detailer calls back and says he has them.. On top of that, no one could figure out where the random plastic piece in my car was supposed to fit. Once it was finally figured out, I noticed the other 3 matching pieces were missing as well. I was simply told that those pieces come off easily and probably weren't there to begin with.. sound familiar? I later discovered that I was also missing the middle console fabric inserts, the child seat attachment cover, and THE CARPET IN MY CAR WAS BURNED IN TWO DIFFERENT (relatively large) SPOTS! How did that happen?!? No one could explain any of the missing parts or the burns. I got my mats back, but that's it. As compensation I was offered 50% off window tinting. While I appreciate the sentiment, at this point something more needed to be done- such as a refund? It seems as though I paid $200- almost $400 (for lack of appropriate filing skills)- to have parts stolen out of my car and permanent damage done to it. I will not be trusting my vehicle to this company ever again and I wouldn't suggest anyone else do it either. As a final note, I will say the only reason this review got 2 stars is because of how helpful and concerned the office manager Veronica was for my experience throughout this whole process. I just had a very excellent experience at Tint my ride, I made my appointment 2 weeks out because they are very busy and were booked out for almost 2 weeks, but I take that as a good sign! I went in and used their incredible deal of a $45 groupon for 2 windows tinted at 30%, I was quoted a 2 hours to wait, but was delighted when after only 45 minutes from me arriving I was driving away with my newly tinted windows! The gentleman at the front desk was extremely courteous, very knowledgeable, and after trying to up sell me (Which I'm sure is standard operating procedure when dealing with a very inexpensive $45 Groupon) when I declined I received no further pressure which I appreciate. I would recommend this shop to anyone they did a great job, they were fast, and very professional! 5 stars all the way.
