Mike High Farms delivers the perfect pumpkin patch experience. Tickets were a bit pricey at $18 per adult, but worth it. Admission includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, where you actually get to walk around and pick your own pumpkins off the vine. (Unlike the pumpkin patches up in Longmont that don't let you wander anymore.) Plus there were games, animals, food, tractors, slides, a corn maze, and a craft fair--something for everyone! Of all the pumpkin patches that we've been to over the years, Mile High Farms is our favorite so far. Our son was really into the corn maze, since supposedly there were little Lego men hidden in a part of it. We never did find them, but the carrot made him more willing to explore the maze. Our little one loved getting her face painted, jumping on the bouncy castle, petting all the animals, doing the hay ride, etc. My favorite part was that the pumpkins were still on the vine, which is a contrast to other pumpkin patches where it's obvious they grew them elsewhere and dumped them on the field. For this reason, the pumpkins were more expensive at Mile High Farms. The food vendors were underwhelming, which is why this is four stars instead of five. It won't stop us from returning next year, though we'll be sure to pack our lunch or pick up sandwiches on the drive over. read more

A great pumpkin patch for parents and their kids. There are several fun things to do like corn mazes, face painting, tire swings, basketball and more. And of course a tractor hay ride to the pumpkin patch. However, if you're older and coming with friends this probably isn't the place for you. Mile High Farms is definitely geared towards kids. The large corn maze and mini maze are basically connected so I don't know why they advertise two corn mazes. Plus, the corn stocks were short enough that we could see everyone walking in the maze. Absolutely enjoyed this pumpkin patch!!! They have great snacks and lots of activities for every age!!! It is kind of a drive but we'll worth the event. If you arrive 2 hours before they close they give you 50% off. Not bad when you have kids. The pumpkins were amazing!! read more

CHECK YOUR SHOES BEFORE YOU GET IN YOUR CAR!! So it's not a bad place, but it's not great either. My usual pumpkin patch didn't open this year so I tried this place. Everything was scaled back because of COVID but there were still things to do. The petting zoo was more of a look at the animals which didn't bother me. They had a cool fort for the kids to play on. There were tractors to sit on. The irrigation swings were pretty cool. There was a kid sized corn maze and I guess an adult too. I didn't go in. The hayride was nice. It would through a tree lined path. My issue is the price of the pumpkins. I already paid an entrance fee and them although it sounds cheap, the larger pumpkins are expensive. Plus the pumpkin patch is incredibly small for the crowds they attract. I was really disappointed with the pumpkin patch. I would go back but I would never get a pumpkin from them again. read more

We don't have children, but if we did, we'd frequent Mile High Farms quite often in the month of October! There is something for everyone to do! - Spooky Houses - Corn Maze - Hayride - Pumpkin Patch - Live Band - Food Tent - Face Painting - Horses - Etc... We had a blast! But as a warning, it is $12 for Adults and $10 for kids. They weigh pumpkins to determine pricing. You also have to drive down a dirt road for a mile or so. Parking is plenty and free though! This is the perfect place to take your kids in the fall to get them outside and have some fun. They did a great job with the design and planning of this pumpkin patch. Looks like it was inspired by a Tim Burton film (see the pictures). Bring a wagon or a back-brace because if your kids are like mine they will pick out the hugest pumpkins they can find (and some are darn HUGE!!). Each pumpkin is about $0.25/lbs. Best pumpkin patch in the Denver area. Halloween village, face painting, animals, kiddie train, mini-maze and HUGE corn maze, tire swings, and a hayride out to the pumpkins. I love that they have pumpkin concierges that'll help you cut your pumpkins out of the field and carry them to the wagon for you. The best part is the price! We got 34 pounds of pumpkin (three altogether) for $17! And the location is great - you feel way out in the country and it's beautiful. I keep coming back to this place year after year. read more

We had a great time at Mile High Farms this weekend. I love that the staff was all wearing their masks and all seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. I think going to a real working farm where kids can see crop grown, animals raised, etc is so fascinating and educational for the kids. Lol, even the goat heads were educational! Such a cute place! We took our 18 month, and 3 year old yesterday for the first time. They had a blast! Our only regret is we didn't get there earlier to experience everything they had to offer. All adults and kids had so much fun today. The weather was perfect and the farm was not too crowded. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hayride to the pumpkin patch was a treat, and not dusty. They had a great selection of pumpkins, we left with four pumpkins of varying color and size (orange, blue, white and pink). The staff was knowledgeable about the pumpkins, letting us know about the colors and rushed to cut the pumpkins off the vine, carried them to the wagon, loaded and unloaded the pumpkins for us. My daughter loved the animals, tire swing, and corn pit. We wished we would have had more time to check out the corn maize, but we spent two hours at the farm and had to leave. This was an awesome experience. We went with two other families and we all had a good time. Those that have given this farm bad reviews should stick to the city. It was ok. Lots of dust. You take a hay ride to the pumpkin fields and pick your own pumpkin. I always wanted to do this, however, after this experience, I'd rather go to a nursery or store who have them cut and sorted. So after about an hour of dust, frustrations, thorns, beaming sun,and wasps, we called it a day and went somewhere else. Very dusty and windy the day we went here, but you can not blame the pumpkin patch for this. Not crowed at all which should have been a sign of things to come. What you can blame the pumpkin patch on: Not much to do for kids. Some face painting and a corn maze was the highlight. They had a somewhat of a petting zoo if you were lucky to get the animals to come up to you through the fence. We got yelled at by a worker for feeding the hay to the horses that they were already eating on the ground. Did not understand that one...but why argue with stupid. At these point we were ready to go anyways. You can literally do everything this pumpkin patch as to offer in under a hour. Not worth the admin fee. Will not be coming back.... read more

We spent the day enjoying the farm with my boys thanks to Kohrs Orthodontics. I am unsure on the admission price and value as we attended as guests of Kohrs. We did enjoy the farm even though it is geared to smaller children than my 11 & 14 year old boys. We still had a great time and spent over 4 hours here even though it was a chilly and very windy day. The corn maze is HUGE so make sure you get a map before you go in, unlike us! We happened upon the entrance and didn't see any information about a map and started in. Luckily we happened to run into another family with a map which really helped ;). We also took the hay ride out to the field for pumpkins at $0.80/pound. The boys loved the wagons filled with corn which they played in most of the time. The animals were great to see, but the petting zoo is more of watching animals in their pens. We were able to pet the full size horses, but that was it. The full size horses are worth a stop and offering a few ear scratches. The horses are very friendly and love a good scratch around the ears. There was also live music playing for the afternoon which added to the fun of it. The food is a bit pricey, but not outrageous. Water, chips, and Capri suns were available for $1, but I couldn't find coffee for sale and I wasn't the only freezing adult hoping for a warm beverage. We tried a pulled pork sandwich for a snack ($5 only the sandwich) and it was pretty good, if nothing else it provided a good protein source to hold us over until we were done with the fun. Overall a good family fun place, but is more geared to younger children but my teen still had fun too. read more
