I don't understand why this place isn't rated 5 STARS across the board!? No notes! Had SO much fun, and will be back every year for the fall/halloween season. They were having a $20 sale on pumpkins-- fill up an entire wheelbarrow full. If I didn't already have all of my pumpkins, I would have done that. What a steal! Got some great food from a bbq food truck. The gift shop was fun. Staff was friendly! I guess I see people complaining about the price in the comments... but EVERYTHING is expensive these days. They need to add more water bottle fillers, there is only one which is by the giant tire climb. The mini donuts were amazing and cheap for the serving size you got! For a $31 admission price, I would expect everything to be included (petting zoo, pumpkin launching, etc). It was a fun time for sure! Lots for kids to do. I like that they had plenty of hand hygiene stations. It was fun to soak up the beautiful fall colors! There's so much to do! Definitely recommend getting there earlier and reserve an earlier time slot if possible. I wish there were more firepits available for reservation or even the public ones. A good amount of stuff requires extra payment, so just a heads up on that. Other than that, lots of fun photo ops. Anderson Farms "Terror in the Corn" has gotten quite popular in recent years. A visit to the farms is a definite must do during the fall season. From sunflower picking, pumpkin harvesting, corn mazes and so much fun food, it is guaranteed a great time for friends and family to experience. The food truck selection this year was wonderful. Patrons had a choice of tacos, pizza, elote and even grilled cheese. The latter we indulged in and I was open to seconds (but it was a little pricey). Soooo this place definitely exceeded my expectations. This was our first time and it's located in Erie. I honestly thought it was going to be a rinky dink fall festival and haunted corn maze. Boy was I beyond wrong. When you first pull up there is so much parking. They will never run out lol. Admission for the fall festival and haunted corn maze was only $44, and believe me it's way more than worth it. Honestly they should charge more but that's my opinion. So once inside they have so many photo props and all are loaded with pumpkins that you can buy. They have several free fun games and a shop where you can buy 4 different mining bags that you can mine over by their water mining site. They also have a food place by concessions with some shopping along with at least 10 food trucks that I seen. They also have some games you can purchase such as paintball and a few other things. You can also reserve a sitting place w bonfire that is exclusively yours! There is literally so much here and it's to much to name off. Next is the haunted corn maze which takes you almost an hour to get through but is so bad a$$!!! Probably the best haunted anything I've ever done. This was my first time going to a farm with a corn maze! Wow! I love the big pumpkin scarecrows and the maze was gorgeous in the bright late day sun. It was very windy so I waited in my car for the wind to subside. Plenty of parking! I went on a Monday to avoid major crowds. Downside was that not all of the fun food trucks were open but I still had delicious food - macaroni and cheese with pulled chicken on top! Um I don't think I've ever seen that many pumpkins in one spot in my life. I guess I had also never been to a pumpkin patch before! I liked all of the different shaped gourds and all the different colors! It was a fun time! They also had a unique item - jarred pickled eggs! So disappointed, I have been coming for the past 5 years, this will be my last year, bc they have joined the shrinkflation movement!!! $45 per person, while more then 1/2 the things to do cost $$$ and all the free stuff you wait in line over an hour just for a 1 min ride, not to mention they have taken out a lot of activities!! The food was $20 per person, for a drink and hot dog, $9 for kids meal aka(small hotdog and 1/2 cut up apple), Not to mention the outrageous prices on pumpkins, that will go to waste if they don't sell them!!! We got three everything in 2 hours and that's unusual for this place!! Go to Line Creek Farm in Parker, all the activities are free and you can spend 5 hours or longer and it's $14 to get in, and the food was priced fairly!! The overcrowding made this experience extremely lackluster, and ultimately not worth the money, which makes everything feel even more overpriced. There were *so many* people in line, but it moved fast, which felt reassuring at first... until we were inside the attraction, and were essentially surrounded by others. This seems very overwhelming for the actors, and underwhelming as a patron. It was very easy to spot when and where the actors were coming from, which completely removed the fear factor. I personally feel that there should be some revamping because this was not a good experience at all. Maybe split the groups up more, leaving room for people to walk through and truly take in the atmosphere of this because the actual setting and idea is brilliant. I love how it's a constant walk through a huge map of locations, but again, with the amount of others in line, it's just impossible for anything to be unexpected and truly jump out to scare you. It's as if you're paying to walk a mile for an hour, rather than facing the horror of the corn field and eerie town. I understand that there is a myriad of people buying tickets and wanting to walk through this, but I do believe that it should be more balanced and spread out. Perhaps the haunted house could open an hour or two earlier, close an hour or two later, and/or have more limited ticket options to ensure the best experience possible for everybody, actors included. read more

We went for the terror in the corn. I got the quick pass for 5 people total, spending over $300. We had the 9-9:30 time slot and there were hundreds of people in line and it was crazy packed. As we were going through, we were having an AMAZING time! However, it seemed they flooded the area we were walking through with so many people that there was no gap in groups. We were forced to be directly behind the people in front of us and the people behind us were so close that they kept bumping into us. This completely ruined the last 1/3 (at least) of the experience. We weren't even scared by anything anymore because we could see the people on front of us getting scared. This was extremely disappointing and I feel I didn't get my money's worth. On a more personal note, I have a respiratory disease and the amount of smoke and exhaust from the chainsaws we're a little overwhelming. In addition, there was an insane amount of smoke from the fire pits. That's really more my issue than anything but, I do recommend bringing a respirator if you have breathing problems. read more

For the first time in ten years of attending the fall festival, I was saddened and disappointed. We rented a fire pit, like we always do. We do this to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We rented fire pit 23 and our evening was neither private nor romantic. When we arrived at 7pm, our pit was already taken by an entire family. The manager that walked us out there said our party was already there. We informed him that we had no party and it was just us. He asked the family that had taken our area to leave. A half an hour later, we left our pit to get some cider and when we returned, another group had taken over our pit and knocked our hot dogs and buns into the dirt. They stayed for another thirty minutes before they left to go other things. Then a group of teenagers took over our picnic table. We ignored that as we weren't really using it. Then stepped over the wood logs and sat down in front of the fire. We endured it for a few minutes until I said something about this being our spot that we rented. One of the males called me a bitch and hit my hand that was holding cider. The cider top came off and the cider splashed onto my jacket and hand. They left and yet another group sat down ten minutes later. Our evening was never private and simply wasn't fun not romantic. We finally abandoned our pit and went home. We did discuss this, on the way out, with the man that was supplying our wood and said he would elevate our complaint. I think signs need to be clear that fire pits are not free and open to anyone walking by them. read more

This is literally the IDEAL place for a fall date or a night out with friends. Activities for every age group, shopping for trinkets and toys and decorations and artisan products from the farm, tons of food and NA drinks, haunted attractions, fire pits to make s'mores!! My boyfriend and I had a genuinely good time which is crazy because usually we're just out somewhere getting smashed. Ooh and there are a ton of backdrops for those cute fall pics. I also love to see how many people in the community they have working; we love job opportunities. The food's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected and it's for a great cause. Lots of parking, too! This is such a great spot for a date or to bring your family. It's just simple easy fun. We've been both in the summer (most recent visit) and the fall for terror in the corn and enjoyed both. It does have a lot geared towards families, but we also enjoyed our experience as two adults. The sunflower picking was $10 per person + $10 for a cup to pick as many as you can fit and we still have the sunflowers a few weeks later- this was definitely worth the date and the flowers you get to keep! read more

This is far more than a family outing to a pumpkin patch. Yes, the entry cost is high, but it's worth it if you can plan to spend several hours here. There is a lot of stuff for children of many ages. A play area with a playground, sand pit, seesaws, and a miniature maze. Paintball target shooting. Compressed air mini pumpkin cannons (that actually shoot foam balls, not mini pumpkins). Personal fire pits to rent. Giant pumpkin cannon demonstration every hour. Multiple corn mazes. Tractor/hay ride. And of course, the pumpkin patch. If you can afford it, this is a great way to get the entire family outdoors for an entire day. All of the employees were kind and helpful. I have been wanting to visit this farm ever since seeing a TikTok about it last year. There is so much to do outside of photo ops, especially for children. The food options were limited on a Monday, however, they were very tasty. We got sugar and cinnamon, mini donuts, cowboy fries, Doritos walking taco and some Popsicles. We did a very short version of the corn maze, and that was very fun because I have never done it before we would have done the longer one if we did not have our baby with us. It was also very hot the pumpkin patch aspect is very interesting. You get to ride a tractor out to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin, which is really nice. Prices range from two dollars to $12 depending on size of the pumpkin at the general store. They do have mini gourds that they sell for $.50 each overall it is a great experience and I cannot wait until my daughter is older that we can enjoy the rest of the farm. read more

For the ridiculous entry fee this patch was a "meh" experience. Considerable price difference if you purchase online. Several things for kiddos to do, but the whole place is somewhat rundown. Petting zoo had goats and only goats. One water station that nobody knows about. Food is reasonable at the farms food station, but vendors are ridiculous! $14 for a baked potato with little to nothing on it? Really? They take you out to pick pumpkins. We ended up in a patch that was picked over pretty good. In our way back, we passed patches that hadn't been decimated by crowds yet. Never again! read more

Honestly the best haunted house we've been to- it's such a unique set up outside in a cornfield, and a good length of time to go through, felt like at least 30 minutes. The props and actors were great! They have food trucks which we didn't try but love the option for them. We visited Anderson Farms to experience Terror in the Corn. All I can say is: Wow! They go all out for their haunted maze. It was truly amazing. I don't scare easy (like, at all) but I still had a great time wandering through the corn maze, fog-laden shacks, and creepily-themed areas. They do an amazing job at bringing the thrills. Unless you're with a group of 6-8, you get grouped with randoms. Unfortunately, my group included 2 kids who talked the entire time. Not the occasional or expected, "whoa, that was scary" commentary. I'm talking a constant blabber of how "not scared" they were, snide remarks about/at the actors (who were incredible, by the way), and just little shithead nonsense that made you want to go "for the love of god, please shut the hell up." Super frustrating and disappointing, especially after making the trip. Clearer communication (and KINDER staff) would've made a huge difference. Came with my family for the first time in over 20 years. Still charming with a lot of actives for the kids. Lots of additional costs though for most of the actives. If you are looking for a low cost fall activity, this is not the one. At the entry gate they also confiscated a vape I had in the purse. They said this was a rule and listed on their website, with the tickets and there were signs. I reviewing the website, ticket and signs and there is no mention of not allowing vapes. The signs only mentioned no alcohol being allowed. I offered to take this item back to my car, I had no intention of using this inside, just forgot it was in my purse. They refused and said they needed to throw it away as they had already seen it. The women was very condescending and not helpful at all. I understand not wanting certain itmes inside, however if that is the rule then the signs, website and staff should all have the same information. It is disappointing to be spending so much to enjoy to experience and now being out more money because they didn't have their rules listed correctly. read more

This farm has been around since I can remember... but boy has it grown! My most recent visit was for the sunflower experience- we purchased the entrance ticket along with a cup to fill with flowers. There was 15+ acres of sunflowers of all different varieties. The whole purpose of going was to take family photos for some of my friends but we ended up making a day of it and had so much fun. Fall time here is probably the most sought after. Pumpkin picking, haunted corn maze, regular corn maze, tractor rides... I feel like anything fall related that you can think of - it's here. A locally owned farm -- my mom went to school with the owners and apparently live down the road from her. It's wonderful to see a thriving farm like this! There is so much to appreciate about Anderson Farms. We're a childless couple and had a great time. The amenities are plentiful, particularly if you do have little ones. Lots of thoughtful touches and activities to keep anyone with you entertained. For us, the corn maze was incredible - well thought out and so much time taken in creating such a intricate and challenging maze. And, yes, there were shorter, less intricate mazes appropriate for kiddos. We appreciated the maps. Whoa. How do you complete the corn maze without it? Maybe a country girl raised in the corn can, but wow, much respect. We loved the camp fire areas and the fire tenders who took care of, monitored and maintained the camp fires. So nice. We met friends here, brought our own food and enjoyed the fire. I'd only it were a tad cooler when we visited, lol. We also had a great time picking our pumpkins and thought the tractor ride to said patches was well run, thoughtfully orchestrated and pretty flawless. The check out for said pumpkins was also efficient. And yes, we happily bought some pumpkins and loved every minute. My one drawback? Maybe you already know this. While there were lots of food and beverage options, you will not find alcohol offered. Part of me completely understand this. Part of me was completely sad. Ugh. Will we come back? WE HAD SOOO MUCH FUN! Covid could not stop us from going to a farm and picking out our own pumpkins and Anderson farms was absolutely amazing!! We walked the bottom half of the corn maze, which it was fun to try to find all of the hidden gems throughout the maze. You have to grab the map of the maze and hole punch all the gems that match what you have found. The hole punches are located throughout the maze. Hopefully next year all the outside venders will be able come back so we can have even MORE fun at the farm! The pumpkins are really decently priced, if you don't want to go to the patch and walk through the fields, they have a pre picked pumpkin patch with no dirt located by the exit that you can go through and pick your own. There were plenty of food trucks to keep us full, a little over priced but still plenty of them! The kids play area was a huge hit for my daughter, they even have a mini maze made out of wooden walls, for the kiddos to do on their own! We will definitely be back next year! The best Halloween/pumpkin farm experience year after year. I can't think of anything else you would want or need in a farm to visit for the holiday. I love Halloween & look forward to it so much every year. We spent hours there last weekend until our little one crashed, and still didn't get to all the things for kids to do (there's sooo much to do!!). My only complaint is that the food truck lines are really long, so you have to wait quite a while for food if you want one of the good ones. There were no lines for the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch when we went. We did have to wait a little bit for a ride back when we were done out there, but not too long. We waited for a while to have the kids ride the little tractor ride. We also went at a pretty busy part of the day on a Saturday, so I was actually expecting to wait in lines more. We played at 2 different areas with slides, and didn't even stop at the 3rd one we saw. My daughter absolutely loved feeding the goats! Soo many photo ops all over the farm. We went to Anderson farms today for a family day while my nephews had fall break in the middle of the week. To be honest it was underwhelming. There were a lot of attractions but many of them were closed during the week. The costs of the tickets are cheaper on the weekdays but I don't think it was worth it. The attractions on the farm were spread too far apart without any good maps or directions indicating where things are. The pumpkins were fair priced but for the overall experience it would probably be better on a day where everything is open. The pumpkin patch was cool and the kids liked the bikes but I wish there was more happening here. read more

I don't even know where to start. First off the employees working the general store were absolutely awful. The adults working were wonderful but the teenagers working have never seen hospitality in a day of their life. I worked in food for years and would NEVER talk to a customer how they did. Specifically a girl (maybe 17-22 in age) be extremely rude. Now the haunted house. So do you guys make up your awards? Cause that was one of the worst haunted houses Ive been too. First off your timing order is awful. Sell less tickets and space people farther apart. Also with all that space on your property did you try to make it the world's smallest haunted house?? I felt like I was walking back and forth going no where. Third, when you see other groups all magic is lost, try maybe making walls. Forth why so many chainsaws? One or two would be great but I honestly cringed at how many there was. Finally Id like to touch in the price. I do not want that at all. If fact, because you dared ask, you're all going to boarding school in Switzerland. Long story short, we went to the farm. It was actually pretty fun. Some attractions include: Corn Maze: looked really fun, I just don't do corn mazes anymore. Not after the fiasco of '95. Tractor ride to pumpkin patch: Bumpy. Both the ride and the pumpkin I picked out. Food Trucks: they got so many food trucks your head will spin. Try it! It'll spin! Go-kart track: show your kids how fun and dangerous driving can be! Etc. And by etc, I mean: trampoline pads, barrel train rides, playgrounds, rubber duck races, haunted houses, zombie paintball, and mining for gems. That's quite an etc! I hate writing this review. We have been coming to Anderson Farms for over 10 years and this year will be our last. This is pure greed, nothing about this place is enjoyable anymore because of how greedy they have gotten. The farm says they sell "limited tickets" per night and this is still the busiest I have seen it while being the most understaffed. Now for some specifics. - The website says the pumpkin patch line closes at 5:30 so we arrived at 4:30, waited in the 30 minute line to get in, and at 5:02 we were told they weren't allowing anyone else into the line. I followed EXACTLY what their website said and was denied entry to the pumpkin patch line, waste of money. - The corn maze is destroyed, period. I don't know what else to say about this. Get some staff to walk through the maze and kick out the unattended high school children that are causing mass destruction in purpose, it's not enjoyable for anyone else because of them. - The food lines are an absolute joke. We were told the line for kettle corn was well over an hour because each pot of popcorn they made would only service 3 customers. Glitch in the system? Someone rent a commercial kitchen and make 3,000 bags of popcorn, don't soil the rest of Andersons reputation with this incompetence. - The haunted house was probably the most disappointing part. I paid extra for 8 of us to get a quick pass, nobody was monitoring this line, wasn't much quicker than a regular pass.... But whatever. Let's talk about the real issue. You may as well be walking through a museum. The rooms are all empty, no actors in the corn maze portion, understaffed so you just walk through looking at Halloween decor. I'm not sure why they don't cLl this a haunted Congo line honestly, it's not like you just accidentally bump into the group in front of you, you're in a line of 150+ people all standing way too close, you're at a dead stop in the "haunted house" and NOTHING is scary since you're behind 150 people all staring at the same 2 actors running up and down the line. Wow, I was so impressed with this place and even more so that I haven't been once in the 8 years I've lived in Colorado. Corn mazes were always a fall Festivity we did living on the east coast and therefore when I had family come out to visit, I thought it would be the perfect stop. We went on a week day so admission was only $15/person and gets you a ton of stuff. While much of that is tailored towards kids, we were happy with the admittance to the corn maze and then pumpkin patch. While the corn maze is WAY different then those back home, it was still a lot of fun. The pumpkin patch was also HUGE and so we'll priced!!
