I just switched over to this dentist after doing a good amount of research and receiving a recommendation from a neighbor. We have a lot of dental options in Lakewood - the market is a bit saturated and you see ads for dentists everywhere. So at my first appointment, the expectations were admittedly high. I can truthfully say, expectations were met and exceeded. Here are the reasons why: 1) Location - convenient, newer building with ample parking. Office was modern and clean. 2) Amenities - they have free wifi, hot and cold drinks, and even snacks available. As a first time guest, I was given a welcome bag with all sorts of goodies 3) Customer service orientation - my expectation is to be treated well from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out. This includes the hygienist, the dentist, receptionist, and billing dept. All were very nice and professional. I must also add that the handwritten welcome note from the dentist in my welcome bag was perfect. 4) Respectful of time - I was never waiting for anyone. They also took their time with me, the dentist talked with me for a good amount of time to ensure I had all my questions answered and I knew exactly what was going on. 5) Excellence in dentistry - they did a great job cleaning my teeth. They explained everything that they were doing and I feel like it was a top notch cleaning. I will be going back and am happy to support this business. read more

I had been looking for a reputable dentist in Lakewood and I am so glad I chose Mile High Smiles! My first appointment with them included a oral comprehensive exam and cleaning. It was unlike any first appointment I've ever had at a dentist office. They were thorough, friendly, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. I've been to many different dentists and have had both good and bad experiences, but this by far was the best experience I've ever had! Going to the dentist can be uncomfortable, I personally hate getting the x-rays done, but the dental assistant was extremely quick and made sure it was as comfortable of an experience as it could be. After the cleaning Dr. Brian Levitin came in and did the most thorough overview I've ever had done on my teeth. He went through just about every X-ray and every photo they took, tooth by tooth. Everything was displayed on a screen above me and I learned things about my teeth and dental hygiene no dentist had ever shared with me. I left the office knowing I had healthy teeth and extreme confidence in making Mile High Smiles my dentist of choice. Possibly the greediest dentist in the Denver metro area. If you want a dental experience equivalent to the experience you have at a used car dealership, than this is the office for you. Dr. Levitin purchased this practice from an amazing dentist that valued personal relationships, and high standards of quality dentistry for each and every patient. Dr. Bausch unfortunately died of terminal cancer. Dr. Levitin's style of care translates as more of a sales pitch than for what is in the best interest of the patient. I was told I needed several crowns amounting to thousands of dollars worth of treatment. I have since received a second opinion, and only needed two fillings. I was offered Invisalign ($5000) at every single appointment. All but one original, amazing employees have left the practice. What once was a great practice that provided excellent dental care and customer service has been turned into a distant memory. The motives of Brian Levitin seem clearly to increase his quality of life with little to no regard of the best interest of the patient. I have been going to this office for over 30 years. All the staff are competent, friendly, and extremely well practiced in dental care. First under the ownership and care of Dr. Wayne Bausch who passed away in 2013 and now under the experienced hands of Dr. Brian Levitin. The staff here treat me as family and I feel the kindness and warmth every time I have an appointment; which isn't often because the office always gets things done right the first time. I always feel comfortable and at ease because procedures are explained to me in plain speak which are thorough and understandable. And I can tell by the way the staff conducts business, they are well trained and receive additional training during their practice in the latest up-to-date methods and technologies. I was putting off my dentist apt. for about 2 years. In a way I was afraid to go back as my gums are extremely sensitive and the tools dental offices use can be extremely painful. I let them know right when I sat down about this issue. They made a point to be extra careful. The dentist is wonderful. Very kind and understanding. Would love to come back but I found out my insurance doesn't go here. So unfortunate, because the search for a good dentist is not easy. Plus they already took so many detailed photos here, of every tooth! The only reason I didn't give 5 star is because the office could use a little upgrade. My last dentist office had a beautiful interior. However the dentist himself (at my last place) seemed like he was over being a dentist (which I don't blame him).. I visited Mile High Smiles today for the first time on the advise of a coworker. I have never had a better experience at in a dentist's office in my life. From the time I entered the office to the time I left, the entire staff was friendly, helpful and caring. I've never had a dentist who was so honest with me and spent so much time explaining what options were available to me. I really felt that Dr. Levitin and the whole staff really had a personal interest in my care. I've been to other dental offices that were constantly trying to hard sell services, but I never felt any pressure to purchase any services or products from this office. I thought the prices were very reasonable and the services were exceptional. I would certainly recommend this office for anyone who has any fear or apprehension about going to a dentist. Dr. Levitin is amazing and so is his staff. I visited Mile High Smiles today for a consultation on some cosmetic dental work I need. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly that I felt right at home immediately. His office is lovely and comfortable. Most of all, though, Dr. Levitin himself is fantastic. He really took the time to discuss my teeth and personal situation with me in a way that was not only thorough but easy to understand, too. He was very patient with my many questions and not only told me what I needed to know but showed me as well and he was very detail-oriented. Dr Levitin and his team are some of the BEST that I've experienced in Denver! His staff are extremely courteous, professional and welcoming - and know me by name (which you dont find in a lot of businesses). I always appreciate the helpful reminder calls they offer, their small touches like the bottle of water, toothbrush, and minty fresh lip balm, but it's their professional staff that make the cleanings, or fillings a breeze. Dr Levitin has always been careful to ensure that I'm always feeling comfortable, and very thorough with their explanations of what they're doing and how they're doing it. Add to it, they have some of the best equipment, and a welcoming office - you cant ask for more. We've moved, but I still make the 26 mile commute because of the care that they offer! I have been a patient at this office for 20 years, although Dr. Levitin has only been in the office for a couple of years. The staff are very professional, but I feel they are also my good friends. Dr. Levitin has been a great addition to the office :) He is very patient and comforting and most importantly a great dentist. The front desk staff has changed in the 20 years, but the ladies are always friendly and helpful with setting appointments and billing. As a Native, I've been to many Colorado dentists. Dr. Levitin and his team have found themselves a new client for sure. Angela B, my hygienist, was so thorough, kind and personable. I got every concern addressed and planned in one visit versus coming back after a new patient visit. I wish more offices would schedule appointments this way. Mile High Smiles is the best ever. I have gone to them for several years, and have been treated with the greatest respect. After recovering from breaking my leg previous to an appointment, Dr. Levitin, even helped me down the stairs, when the elevator was not working! I think that was wonderful. They never make one sit a long while before the appointment, but are always ready for you. The hygienist is very helpful answering all questions and even provided a small brush and information for hard to reach h flossing areas. This is a great dental option. I'm a current patient there and recently had a chipped tooth that started acting up right before I was scheduled to go out of the country on vacation. Dr. Levitin opened his office for me on Friday (normally closed), brought in a technician (thanks Jen), and fixed the tooth so I wouldn't have to worry about it while on vacation. He could have easily given me some meds to deal with the pain, but instead sacrificed his and his staff's time to take care of me. He never made it feel like he was going out of his way to do this, but I know he and Jen did and I really appreciate it. read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in 10-15 years so naturally, I was terrified of going and what they would find. Dr. Levitin and his team put me at ease and absolutely followed through in their promises. They were incredibly understanding of my fears going in to the first appointment to correct a lot of issues and didn't forget that there was a human on the other side. Dr Levitin and his staff are simply wonderful. They care about me as a person, not just a set of teeth. They offer detailed explanations for everything they recommend doing. I have had a LOT of dental work in my life and nowhere have I felt as comfortable and pain free. They use the latest technology and techniques. I am a fairly new client to Dr. Levitan. I have no idea about how the prices compare with other dentists, as it seems I always pay more than I expect. However, this office is excellent. Dr. Levitan explains literally EVERYTHING in detail -- whether you want to know or not. :) My first real experience was a replacement gum line filling. I was totally impressed with how smooth and natural this replacement felt. And now we've done other work too. I continue to be impressed by Dr. Levitan's skill. Even though I only go in twice a year they remember me when I walk in , ask about my kids and how my wife is doing! His staff is so professional and knowledgeable! I just moved to CO from NYC and needed a cleaning. Dr. Levitin came very highly recommended from others in my office and, boy were they right! Staff is warm and informative, the office space is bright and beautiful, and the technology is top of the line. Everything was painless and my coworkers even remarked at how bright my smile looked when I came back to the office. Dr Levitan is a great dentist. He has a wonderful chair side manner, he is informative and tells you exactly what kind of care you require. He's easy to talk to , very personable. He knows what he's doing you can trust him and trust that you will be very well taken care of. He has been our family dentist for 9 years.
