Out in the middle of spectacular rural Alaska, this spot is a welcome sight when you're looking for something hot, cold or delicious! You're obviously not going to find gourmet stuff here, but the pizza is big, the coffee was delicious and the burgers/brisket spectacular! You'll get most acquainted with this spot if you go to the car launch. At least for the last couple years, they were the only spot that had coffee - and it was quite good! Prices are what you'd expect, but with inflation, they're not a lot higher than anywhere else. The folks working here are assumedly the owners and are what I'd expect for rural Alaskans. Got the brisket Mac after passing thru several times and finally decided to try it out. I'm sad to give this place 2 stars but $20 for the brisket Mac for runny Mac, overdone and unseasoned brisket just to get the runs immediately after.. beware. I have been on the road for 6 months and haven't had any issues until here. I want to support local businesses but just think they could serve better quality for the price and potential. read more

Great pizza and ice cream! Absolutely welcomed and delicious when there is nothing around for miles and you have 11 people (6 of them children under 10 years old) who just finished a 2 hour glacier hike and have a 2.5 hour drive home. We ordered 2 pizzas, great crusts, pepperoni & Hawaiian both 16 inches each, and they really were good! Ice cream "kids size" were super generous in a waffle cone. I can't tell you how happy we were to find this gem! They had hot sandwiches, drinks and snacks and nice rest rooms! read more

Needed coffee after a long drive, glad to see this option on the side of the highway. Sadly, not a great experience, notes all over about not being allowed to throw away out side tras. I get it, but so unwelcoming. Service was mediocre at best, only seemed to be friendly if you were a local, and the latte was like a cup of steamed milk. Keep on driving. read more
