We got married at Charles Krug winery in June 2022 and worked with Milestone Events. Overall we had an incredible experience and would recommend them to others, as they are very familiar with the venues that they work with and help streamline the whole process (a very important benefit when planning from across the country). We had Brodie as our coordinator for the last 6 months and for our actual wedding day and could not have been happier working with her! She was experienced in events, something that was clear throughout the process. She brought a positive energy and attitude to each interaction, which helped minimize any unnecessary stress. She was appropriately accessible by phone and email, making sure to indicate which days she was out of the office for events on her auto replies and replying promptly when she was back. She communicated very well with all of our vendors, making sure everyone was on the same page. THANK YOU BRODIE FOR EVERYTHING!!!! Our only negative was that we did have two other coordinators prior to Brodie that ended up leaving the company while we were working with them. We know this is part of the industry (even more so with COVID) and Amanda was available to discuss our concerns during these transitions. We got married at Trentadue Winery this August and The gal who was handling our wedding, Jessica, quit half way through and the transition was less than desirable. I also assume since she was looking for new jobs she did not put a lot of effort into our wedding because she always seem agitated with my questions and was quite the opposite of other reviews of her. Because I had a day of coordinator/wedding planner I guess it was assumed they didn't have to do much of anything. Needless to say there was some rushing around the last two weeks before our wedding as things had not been sorted out as my gal was supposed to be a day of not a whole wedding planner. Needless to say she had to step in and do more than I originally planned and I had to chase down my new contact for over a week straight to get answers on my decorations being hung up and in general they can be slow at responding. In meetings they make you feel like yes everything is under control but then when left with takeaways it was a bit like pulling teeth to get answers and updates. I ended up calling and making many changes to the rentals myself except the last week, which was supposed to go through them. They did not make changes immediately and I suspect certain items sold out because there was a lag. Although this cannot be proven and ended up not being a huge deal. If my wedding planner Keri had not been there I fear as to how I would have put it all together. All of the venues they manage are gorgeous though and I wouldn't not pick one of them just because of milestone. But word of advice if you have a wedding planner expect the wedding planner to do all of the work with little help from milestone or don't tell milestone you have a planner. We have been counting our lucky stars to have chosen to work with Milestone Events Group. From the very beginning, working with Samantha was a dream. She's organized, thorough and detail-oriented and we couldn't have had a smoother experience. She accommodated all of our requests and took care of every detail we imposed on her, along with recommending really incredible vendors. We were supposed to get married at Trentadue and have a rehearsal dinner at Sbragia the week after the devastating Kincade Fire. All of Geyserville, Healdsburg and Windsor (along with parts of Santa Rosa) were evacuated up until the day before our rehearsal dinner was supposed to take place. Samantha remained calm (while she and most of the Milestone team were personally evacuated from their own homes) and by the Monday before the wedding had offered the alternative to have both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Valley of the Moon Winery, another Milestone property in Sonoma/Glen Ellen. Sight unseen, we agreed so that we could inform our guests (mostly traveling from Chicago, where we live) and new accommodations could be secured. Samantha assured us that all of the items we'd had shipped to the Milestone office in Santa Rosa (still under evacuation at the time) would be secured and moved to Valley of the Moon. At the time, it was the least of our worries, but we were extremely grateful. Both the rehearsal dinner and wedding were an amazing success, and everything we imagined, despite being a new location, thanks to Samantha working with all of our other vendors to ensure they would be able to accommodate the change in venue. Although the week of our wedding was much more stressful than we hoped, Samantha and Milestone made it as seamless as possible. Valley of the Moon was a beautiful place to have our wedding and we remain incredibly grateful that we worked with an events group that was able to provide an amazing alternative in extremely extenuating and devastating circumstances. read more

We had our wedding on May 5th at Viansa Winery and had an excellent experience with Milestone Events group. They were organized and professional throughout the entire process. We met with Stacey initially when touring several venues. She made this very simple with organized times and provided us a folder with all the pricing and information for each venue. When we decided on a venue, we were connected to Krista who was the senior coordinator for Viansa. We had a telephone conversation with her during which she outlined the important points for our timeline and was very responsive to our questions. A few months into our planning, we were notified that Krista was moving and leaving Milestone and that Teina Moore would be taking over for her. Admittedly, we were a little nervous about this since Teina was new to the group and was not a senior coordinator, but she exceeded our expectations! Teina was very organized and proactive about the remainder of the planning (which honestly is probably the most difficult part with all of the details). She wanted to make sure everything went smoothly on our day and reminded us of certain things we should consider (eg. the cold windy weather at night!). She was able to move our reception indoors with less than 24 hours notice. We had some minor hiccups the day of (portion of the seating chart disappeared, gluten free cupcakes mixed in with the others) but Teina and Leslie (senior coordinator) were able to take care of everything without bothering us on our day. Teina overall was an excellent communicator with us and our vendors. She was also so wonderful and pleasant to work with! My husband and I got married at Valley of the Moon in Glen Ellen, CA on Sept. 21st. Because we live on the east coast, we knew we would need help finding a venue and planning our big day, and we are so happy that we used Milestone. We went on several site visits in February and decided on Valley of the Moon because of its perfect blend of rustic and elegance, and the staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming and of course their wine is delicious. We were a smaller wedding with just under 50 people, and Valley of the Moon offered the quaint atmosphere we were looking for. We chose to have our reception inside the winery (it was beautiful) but outdoors is also an option especially if you are having a larger wedding. We were truly blessed to have Briana assigned to us as our site coordinator. She was very knowledgeable about the winery, the vendors, and anything wedding-related. We planned our entire wedding in about 6 months, and Briana was there every step of the way. No question was a dumb one, and she was very timely with her responses especially given the 3 hour time zone difference. Her friendly and charming personality made it feel as if we had known her forever. In addition to emails, we set-up several phone conferences which were helpful and Briana was always prepared and acted as if we were her only clients. We never felt rushed or pushed for time. We used several of Milestone's preferred vendors and were happy we did. For catering, we chose Park Avenue and worked with Justine. Not only was Justine an absolute joy to work with, Park Avenue's food was delicious-our guests couldnt stop talking about it. We served the food family style which added to the intimacy that we wanted to create for our guests. Park Avenue sent Marc as the man in charge for the reception, and he was so attentive to our guests. He even fixed my plate for me because I was busy talking to my guests! You are in great hands if Marc and his crew from Park Avenue are your caterers. We had Chloe from Valley of the Moon as our bartender. We met her when we were at the vineyard in June for our walk-through, and she reminded us of one of the main reasons why we selected Valley of the Moon as our venue- the staff is incredibly genuine and truly has a passion for what they do. She gave us great ideas for where our guests could stay and eat (everyone stayed at the Sheraton in Petaluma- Hal is the general manager and he will take great care of you and your guests). Chloe went out of her way to save 6 wine bottles for me because I wanted to use them as centerpieces, and she even scrubbed the labels off, so I could put my personalized labels on them. Overall, there isn't a single thing I would have changed on my wedding day, and I owe it all to Milestone, Valley of the Moon, Park Avenue and my other vendors for helping me put it all together! read more

We got married at Copain Wines in Healdsburg on Sept 7 and the day was absolutely perfect. Like other couples, we started planning with Krista, but switched to work with Macenzie when Krista moved to southern California. Both the ladies were wonderful. As the day got closer, I was sending Macenzie more and more emails, but just about everything on our wedding day was exactly as I imagined it. On the day of the wedding, Macenzie was on top of everything. I was actually a little sick, and she was great about checking on me to see if there was anything I needed. The only thing that kind of caught us by surprise was our leftover wine. I knew all the wine we pre-purchased would be ours to keep, but since we live out of town, we expected Copain to ship those leftover bottles home for us (especially because we're members of their wine club). But the morning after the wedding, we found out all the wine was sent home with our family. Not the end of the world, but it did cost us a couple hundred bucks to ship it home to Miami. After a $7,000 event rental fee, it would be nice for the winery to pick up that shipping tab. But that miscommunication is kind of on us too as we didn't specifically talk about it ahead of time. My wife and I got married at Sbragia Family Vineyards in September, 2019. The people at Milestone were friendly and professional, and there were only a few times we felt like we were waiting on them to get back to us before we could make progress on our wedding plans. Our on-site coordinator, Dayna, was fantastic! She walked us through the whole planning process, and sent gentle reminders when *we* were the ones holding up the progress. After our ceremony was over, she helped my wife and I find a quiet corner with some of the appetizers where we could get a quick bite to eat and let the fact that we had just gotten married sink in without being immediately overwhelmed with by guests. She handled some of our last minute scheduling changes (nothing ever goes according to your perfectly timed plans) with grace. But the best thing Dayna did for us came days after our wedding. During the speeches, our nine year old nephew presented us with a heart shaped pebble, no bigger than a half dollar coin, he'd found a few weeks earlier. We put it on the table between our plates, but during all the photos and dances and cake and things that followed, it was removed or knocked off the table. We realized a day or two later that we hadn't brought it back from Sbragia and called Dayna to ask if we'd forgotten anything, and specifically mentioned the pebble. Unfortunately, we hadn't missed any boxes, bags, packages, envelopes, or anything else. We left for our honeymoon elated to be married, but hoping we'd never have to tell our nephew we'd lost the memento of his incredibly sweet sweet wedding speech, literally in the first hour of our marriage. A week after the wedding, we got a text from Dayna saying that she'd been working another event that day and randomly glanced down and spotted it, still on the deck near where we'd been sitting. She saved it for us and I picked it up after we got back home. I know it seems silly to go on about a rock, and maybe you had to be there, but let's be real ... a lot of people would have ignored it, or kicked it back into the dirt and never made the effort, my wife and I would have gone about our lives just as happy, and our nephew will never interrogate us about where the rock ended up. Like many of the recent reviewers, my husband and I had to change our wedding plans more than once for covid. We thought we had a final plan and just a few months before the day our venue cancelled - it was a mess. We luckily ended up finding Sbragia Vineyards and Milestone Events Group to help us plan our special day! Due to all of the replanning, I was a pretty fatigued bride at this point, and Milestone stepped right in. They helped me find my vendors and arrange virtual walkthroughs to pick the table settings, decor, etc. They had experience working with our caterer so I barely had to plan anything with the food. This was the service I didn't know I needed but was so helpful because we were planning on such a short timeline and from a different state. Mikaela, our coordinator, was incredibly professional and was just a joy to work with! She rolled with the punches all the way until the end, even helping my friends who MC'd the wedding navigate the details on the day of with almost no preparation. The wedding day topped out at 110 degrees and Mikaela helped us move all of the dinner tables last minute into the shade, even after they had already been set-up. Unfortunately, our experience was similar to Rebecca P. My daughter was married last week in a beautiful backyard Zoom wedding at an Airbnb in the Santa Rosa area. There were 7 live wedding attendees and over 160 virtual attendees. She had originally hired Milestone Events Group to assist her with organizing an August wedding at a Santa Rosa area winery for approximately 120 people. The Milestone wedding planner was pleasant and easy to work with but due to Covid issues, she eventually informed my daughter that the wedding could not be held on the date or location contractually agreed upon. Milestone's only option was for the bride and groom to change their wedding date which for a variety of reasons was not an option. When my daughter informed them that a date change wouldn't work and inquired about getting their fairly significant deposit back she received an e-mail from the Milestone Operations Director stating that no portion of the deposit would be returned and ridiculously included a very industry-biased article about why some wedding planning companies were not returning deposits for cancelled weddings. She was told in later correspondence with the Director that there would be no possibility of discussing a return of a portion of the deposit and was politely but firmly told she would have to take legal action to recover anything ..knowing full well that the hassle and expense of legal action would likely not be worth it even though thousands of dollars were involved and from our perspective the contract clearly provided that the deposit should be returned. Milestone was the only company, out of all the numerous wedding vendors, who refused to cost accommodate for a cancelled or significantly reduced wedding. Even the hotels and airlines for a cancelled honeymoon worked with them to reduce the financial impact of the altered wedding plans. Fortunately, my daughter was able to find a new wedding planning company, who, unlike Milestone, had adapted their business plan to accommodate both live and virtual weddings. They were wonderful to work with and the wedding turned out marvelously. The interaction with Milestone was the only true negative experience in the entire process. On a positive note, the total wedding costs were substantially lower than originally planned but unfortunately, one of the largest expenses was for the lost deposit which Milestone did nothing to earn or justify. read more

I am sharing my overall experience with Milestone Events from start to finish so please read below: We decided to get married at Trendadue Winery in Geyserville. We began working with Mackenzie and everything went pretty smoothly. About 2 weeks prior to our wedding Mackenzie left Milestone and we were transitioned over to Samantha. That was frustrating to say the least but the transition was pretty seamless. Fast forward to the morning of the rehearsal, there were fires in the area. We were moved to another venue (Russian River Vineyards) for our walk through rehearsal. Upon arrival we found out that we would have to move the wedding to this venue as well. We were shocked and sad to not be getting married at our chosen venue. The new venue had a very different overall feel and the terrain was hilly and dusty. We were told that it had many of the same amenities and therefore it was a good alternative. We originally paid $6000 for our site fee at Trentadue this was inclusive of tables and chairs. We then paid a $1000 fee to extend our reception as well. Upon changing over to our new venue we were not informed that the site fee was going up $500 even though it lacked a lot of the qualities of Trentadue and that the site didn't have tables and chairs which were going to cost up upwards of $2000. Now I have to say that Samantha and Leslie did an amazing job of moving things and transitioning all of the vendors last minute. We wouldn't have gotten married without then and for that we are forever thankful. Leslie was able to take a few things off of our rental order that we didn't need. This normally doesn't happen but they were able to make those adjustments under the circumstances. We were frustrated to find out about the hidden costs and not being aware of that to make informed decisions. After discussions were were about to negotiate the site fee but we were still left responsible for the rentals that were not initially approved. Although I understand that they did the best in the moment it's still unfair to ask those changes of couples who have budgeted to be able to get married. Also note that due to the change in venue we also changed wine since our original venue was inaccessible. This put our cost for wine $1000 over our original budget due to the cost of the new winery's wine. Overall we are very happy to be married and I think that Milestone did their best under the circumstances but we have to say we are still trying to swallow the $3000 adjustment in last minute costs. read more

Nick & I live in New York City and we decided to get married in Geyserville, CA, not exactly near each other. Krista Polizo & Macenzie Campolito were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They provided a list of vendors, which ended up being very helpful when it came to the salon I used, the DJ and the rentals company. All of which were wonderful and extremely professional. Krista & Macenzie were very organized, replied to emails/phone calls promptly and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. We are so thankful to Krista & Macenzie for helping us design and plan our dream wedding. On the day of I had no worries and everything turned out perfect! My wife and I were very happy for our youngest daughter when she was engaged to be married to a young man who fell in love with her. It would be our second trip down the aisle, so to speak, after our first daughter's wedding. The usual concerns of where and when immediately surfaced. The kids loved everything that the Trentadue Winery had to offer and so did we but we had no idea where to start. Enter Macenzie Campolito, the Site Coordinator for the Milestone Group, which oversees events at Trentadue Winery. She was great! The moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. She had a checklist that covered every concern we had, made herself available to answer all of our questions, provided us with a seating chart, and an exact timetable for the event starting with the night-before practice all the way through the final vows. Macenzie was present on the day of the wedding which was a big help because this is the day you want to get things right and, thanks to her and her staff, we did! We won't be planning any more weddings, but if we did have that option Macenzie Campolito would be our first, and only, choice! ------------------------- (Interesting to note that, during this time, Macenzie and her staff were faced with the effects of the one of the worst fires in history that absolutely devastated the surrounding communities. My husband and I got married at Valley of the Moon in August, which was a beautiful venue, and the experience was absolutely perfect. We worked with Samantha at Milestone who took care of us every step of the way, making suggestions and recommendations whenever we asked, and never overselling us on anything. We had a small hiccup during the ceremony, and Samantha and Stacey (another Milestone team member) made sure everything kept running smoothly. All in all, it was great to have Milestone in the planning process given how busy the entire wedding planning season was for me and my husband. We worked with Krista for our wedding at Trentadue Winery and she is great! When we booked our wedding at Trentadue there was someone else working in Krista's position, so when Krista took over we were a little bit nervous, but she turned out to be awesome. We had a wonderful wedding and Krista was really helpful with everything about the organizing and planning for our big day. She made the afternoon/evening run very smoothly and we never had to worry about anything at our wedding. Krista is detail oriented, thoughtful, calm, responsive and kind. Macenzie was such a pleasure to work with and accommodated our every request. She was very hands on, always made her self available and was relentless in making sure this was a day we would treasure forever. Overall Milestone was fantastic to work with, but to be fair that was mainly due to our great experience we had working with Macenzie.
