My older son took another SAT prep course when he was a senior four years ago. The "well known" course costed about $500. The course rushed and crammed information and did not improve his score. First Choice, on the other hand, costed about the same but not only had a choice of a "crash course" or spread out course, but also had free weekly SAT simulation tests and individual tutoring for as reasonable fee. So I signed up my daughter and over three SAT tests she continuously increased her score. James is very courteous and helpful. He gave great advise on which subjects to work on and how to improve her score. First Choice should be your "first choice"!

The Fairfield school is closer to me but they never responded to any of my calls or emails. Milford responded right away. They were very friendly and professional with a good sense of fun and enjoyment of what they do. Bear in mind that they don't like to offer any criticism even though it may be constructive. This is because they don't make any money by discouraging students no matter how untalented they may be. Personally, I welcome correction because it leads to improvement. The teachers com from a variety of backgrounds. My teacher was a graduate of a college level music program and he really knew his stuff!
