I had the grilled chicken bacon smoked cheddar cheese sandwich and at the workshop I'd had plenty of carbs so I went no bun and the bartender recommended to try it with a lettuce wrap. He had a great suggestion it was delicious. Bartender checked frequently on everyone at the bar even with how busy it was. For me it's a bar in a college town on Aggie street so you expect some issues but I'm going to guess someone had seafood that night as it had a heavy smell of the seafood or old beer as they have their own brews Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it for the food n staff.

Wine Dive Kitchen is a lovely restaurant in downtown Manhattan…read more I found them on OpenTable and booked a reservation for dinner on a Friday night. We were able to get in at 8:15. It was a little late, but they were super busy with a large party in a private room. Once we got in and got seated, the delightful server took excellent care of us. My wife wasn't really hungry so she just nibbled off my plate. I started with a half of a wedge salad, which was delicious. They had a special on a piece of paper that night, which was a smoked pastrami, burnt ends sandwich with homemade rye bread. It was glorious! Very creative and fun. Since I don't love fries, they were kind enough to substitute deviled eggs as my side dish. I didn't know there would be an up charge for that but it's okay because they were delicious. We each had two drinks from the bar and they were made very well. They have a huge wine, seller and a great selection as one would expect by the name of the place. This restaurant has other locations in Lawrence and Wichita and I would eat at any of the three. Very cool menu and an amazing wine selection. This is really good food.

Mind you, the restaurant was basically empty....maybe 4 tables the entire time we were there. On a Kstate game day no less. We very obviously did NOT need a reservation. ‍ Then, we got a snarky attitude from our server for asking for a side of simple syrup for my DIL's unsweetened tea. WTH??!? He had previously been super nice up until that point. He snarkily informed me that he could do that but there would be a charge. Whatever. It was 50 cents for an ounce of sugar water. Anyway, the food was "okay", nothing to write home about. My DIL did really like her burger and our deviled eggs appetizer was great. Something really weird was my scrambled eggs had tiny bits of sausage scrambled into them. I did not like them at all and nowhere on the menu does it indicate there will be sausage in the scrambled eggs. I definitely would not return and do not recommend. Not a very pleasant experience.

This is always a good thing. They serve breakfast all day, numerous burgers, sandwiches, and various plates. We ordered the reuben and BLT sandwiches and the catfish plate with mac n cheese. The veggie of the day was green beans. Everything was good except for the mac n cheese, which didn't taste very fresh -- you can tell the pasta and cheese had become coagulated. It wasn't creamy cheesy as good quality mac n cheese should be. Wasn't even homemade. And the green beans? Straight from the can! It was mushy and bland. Who wants to eat soggy green beans?! This was rather disappointing. Service was straightforward. Free parking in their small lot but also ample street parking.
