A simple "please," "thank you," or even "welcome in" seems to be missing far too often. Sometimes it feels like the bartenders forget that they're not just pouring beer--they're bartenders and service providers, and the front of the house is a huge part of the customer experience. I love supporting local businesses, and I'll continue to appreciate great beer, but the reality is that great beer gets customers in the door, while great service keeps them coming back, or loses them forever. Come on, guys. The beer is there. The front-of-house experience should match it and is very well versed in complacency.

I feel like the place has really hit it stride now that it is Vanishing West Ciders. They have some really great cider. And even make some neat cocktails. I definitely encourage people to visit, especially if they are going to a show nearby at the Vintage Theatre or the Aurora Fox Theatre.
