This shop is every plus-size brides dream!!! (Not that they don't cater to brides of all sizes...because they do ). Brooke, the owner, is amazing and so sweet. I never anticipated finding my dream dress (and veil!) on my small budget, but she made it happen! The first time I went to try-on, there was only one other bride there. The salon is essentially divided into two, so my group and I had complete privacy and the attention of Missy, who I believe works there on the weekends! It was incredible and I felt very comfortable here. The fitting rooms are large curtained areas, which are always tightly closed when in use and very private. The shop itself is also beautiful...but the dresses, veils, and accessories are absolutely stunning!! I highly recommend this shop for every bride, but it is a must visit for ALL plus size brides! read more

Walked in and the place smelled like a moldy basement. With that, already assuming that all of the dress in there will have the funk of that place. The owner was rude and unhelpful. We were early for the appointment, received no instructions on where to wait just told you can "hangout" or come back. Since we had time we wanted to look around but weren't made to feel welcome to. We forfeited the $25 for the appointment because the dresses weren't even worth. Don't waste your time!! read more

Brooke and Missy are amazing. I came in after David's bridal did not take care of my dress problems, when they mis ordered my dress. Brooke found me a beautiful dress and made me feel like a rock star. She is such an amazing woman, she calmed me down and found the most perfect dress just by getting to know me a bit. Brooke was absolutely incredible!!!! She listened to my style, my wishes, and tried to find not only something she thought would look good on my curvy frame, but what I dreamed about. She even had a dress that checked just about every box, but I held off because I had an appointment at another shop the next day (that I simply should not have wasted my time on). I live in DC and found a dress up here that I loved. However, I went to visit my sister in VA beach and she wanted to go dress shopping, so we stopped in here. I showed Brooke a picture of the dress I loved, and Brooke said she could beat it. I was very skeptical, but she did! I fell in love w a dress there. Unfortunately, I didn't buy it from the store because I wanted to buy it up here for convenience. I definitely recommend this store if you live in the area. I came here with my friend who is getting married in September 2018 and it was a good experience. There was comfortable seating for the guests and we were given a beverage. Brooke, the owner, was an active listener and helped my friend find her perfect dress. It was nice being there because Brooke wasn't pressuring her to purchase a dress and it's very small and intimate, but plenty of dresses. I had high expectations for this place. But I am appalled. First off I am a bigger girl which is what they gear towards and I was so uncomfortable the whole time! First off I asked to keep my bra on which in everywhere else was no problem and they refused told me to strip down to my underwear which I was super uncomfortable cus they were in and out the whole time with just a few curtains between me and the rest of the world. Then I was just disappointed that I could t go and pick out some dresses I liked. They picked all of them for me. But even then I was understanding and kept going. But the. The most inappropriate thing happens the mail man came in. Who was a MAN and proceeded to walk back and forth in the building while was standing basically naked in the the little room and they would leave the curtain open and he literally could seee me standing there naked. I was so uncomfortable and basically felt so disrespected as a person. And I wanted to cry. It was mortifying that this stranger man basically saw me naked and they let him back there!!!!!!! It was completely wrong and they should get a zero star for that alone. I went to here and now bridal and got a dress the very same day and was a completely different auto sphere and no one saw me naked. read more
