Dairy free vanilla in a chocolate dipped waffle cone
Michele M.

This is an old fashioned diner/ice cream place that looks like it's been here forever. When we visit my daughter and son in law, we go here to pick up the cookies and cream dairy free ice cream. When we went last week, they only had the vanilla dairy free ice cream. We decided to get it to go with some chocolate dipped waffle cones. They were all out of the chocolate dipped cones but told us they would make more if we waited. We decided to wait and those waffle cones were worth the wait. They were delicious. The vanilla dairy free ice cream was good but not as good as the cookies and cream. In addition to serving food in the diner area, they sell hot nuts, assorted candies, and chocolates. The place is small and the service was nice and friendly.

What a find! I had been craving a good diner experience and came across this place. It did not disappoint. I had a real cherry coke, smokie mt. Burger (added a patty cause hey it's cheat day) with tots. I finished with the rumba waffle Sunday but I removed the caramel and added peanut butter (much better combo with the banana and hot fudge). My only critique of the meal were the tots seemed over fried. They were a little dry, but the ranch I dipped them in helped lol. The ambiance is very local old school diner. It looks small but there's a room of more tables in the back if needed. The service is great. Friendly and hard working. They do have a little store section they sell candies and roasted nuts. If you're ever in the Canton area make sure to stop and get a taste of the past!

Absolutely love this family style ice cream and sandwich shop! The service is always friendly.

Good ol'fashioned ice cream hang out.

My family stopped here for lunch and icecream before our 4.5 hour drive home from our Ohio vacation. My burger was great, though fries or sides are separate. My middle child got the Big Dog, a grilled hotdog on a grilled cheese with chili. He couldn't finish it all, so we all got to enjoy a piece of it. We liked it so much we started making it at home! The service was great. Our server was fairly new on the job, but was so friendly and willing to check on things for us that I could tell she was going to be good at her job. Now for the ice cream. I had the grass hopper sundae. A mint chip double scoop sundae with tons of hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. It was so good that, even though I was filled to the gills, I wanted more. Very enjoyable. Their portion sizes were very large also. My youngest son just got a chocolate almond ice cream on a waffle cone, and it was huge!! They had to put it in a bowl so he could work on it without melting everywhere. I may have helped him out some. Delicious. I highly recommend this classic diner stop for lunches and icecream fixes. To add to this, they have a great candy selection to really pack in the calories.

Temporarily closed due to owners death. Hopefully will reopen. It's iconic. My sympathies to the family.

This is one of our regular ice cream hangouts as a family. We enjoy it there and the kids love the atmosphere.

I love this place! My friend and I take her 35th anniversary Camaro here multiple times each summer for ice cream. I love the vintage vibe.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by a very friendly waitress. She explained that Table Six is a family-owned business, which we always appreciate because we love supporting local, small businesses. She also let us know that everything is made to order and brought out as it's finished. The only aspect we didn't love was that the food arrived as it was completed rather than all at once. While we understand that's part of their made-to-order approach, it's not our preferred dining style. We were unable to eat together without one of us having cold food. The food came out about 10 minutes apart. Based on our waitress's recommendation, we ordered the Roasted Brussels Tacos and the T6 Smash Burger. Both were flavorful and satisfying, and we were happy with our choices. For dessert, we ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae and The Elvis, a banana pudding dessert with peanut butter. We took both to go and discovered later that the peanut butter topping was accidentally left off The Elvis. While that was disappointing, the banana pudding itself was absolutely delicious and still enjoyable. Between the warm service, family-owned atmosphere, and tasty food, Table Six left a positive impression on us. Despite the small dessert mix-up, we'd definitely return if we're ever back in the area.

Upon entering, there is a kiosk to your left for quick "line free" ordering or you can choose to head to the front where a friendly cashier will assist you. All of the burgers and sandwiches are priced separately. For example, the Cheesy Burger is $8.49, but you can variations of combo add ons like tator tots and a drink (add $6.99) to make it a meal deal. The Cheesy Burger was unique with four slices of cheese and an inverted bun (bun flipped outsides in). I added the tator tots and regular drink for $6.99. The tator tots come with a choice of sauce. I highly recommend the chipotle mayo for dipping, but may be too overpowering on a burger. The downside to the Cheesy Burger was the grease dripping down your hand as you're trying to eat it. However, it all adds to the awesome experience. The drink area was your typical Coca Cola options with a side drink area of various lemonades. I tried the Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade which was tart and delicious. As far as overall experience, order food at the kiosk or the counter and have a seat. The food and shakes will be brought out to you. The signage advertises hand scooped shakes. The staff is friendly and always smiling (atleast during our visit). The atmosphere is great for a friends hang out, quick lunch, or casual date.

Overall the food was fine but a bit expensive for the portions (40.00+) since fries and drinks are addons. Service was ok at best, didn't make any attempt to recommend anything or suggest something for first time diners. Just stood there until we ordered something. This place was dead, so you'd think it would be spotless. Our table was dirty with crumbs and ketchup smeared on the empty napkin holder. There was trash on the floor and dishes stacked above the garbage ( we were the ONLY diners the entire and after when we walked over to NBC ). Overall the place was pretty dirty considering there was no business. Would I be back, the prices didn't match the portions and they place was dead and dirty. This used to be SMOKE and I miss it. It's a hard 2/5 for me.

You will be given the option to eat outside or inside with a number locating where your food will be brought when ready. The OH Chicken Sandwich is delicious, but I won't say it is better or worse than other similar chicken sandwiches other places. The tator tots were crispy and seasoned. The star of the show this visit was the peanut butter chocolate shake was had peanut butter morsels in it. This place was busy during a weekday during lunch time both in the dining area and the bar counter. The fountain drinks have a drink station to serve yourself.

The Good: great…read moretasting chicken: Danielle had the chicken & waffles and i had a 4 piece meal w/ fried Brussel sprouts. we both agreed that the chicken was delicious and perfectly fried/crispy. the chicken fingers were also huge. i was worried that 4 chicken fingers wasn't going to be enough to fill me up but i was full by the time I'd eaten 2. each finger was the width of 2 fingers you'd get somewhere else. beverage options: i'm diabetic so i stick to diet/zero sugar sodas or teas. not only did they have diet pepsi, but had diet dr. pepper as well. score! and that cold soda was needed... The Bad (or Bad-ish): Howlin Sauce: incredibly hot/spicy for just a sriracha based sauce. i eat lots of hot and spicy dishes. it wasn't that it tasted bad - in fact, quite the opposite - but it scorched my tongue like nothing has in a while. No Chill (ha): Danielle's chicken and waffles was swimming in syrup so by her waffles were soggy as hell by the time she'd finished. she still loved the meal and just said she'd ask for it on the side next time. Messy: when we arrived, we saw a number of parties leaving one after another. i assume this would be the reason that most of the tables were covered in dirty dishes and empty cups and glasses. since you order at the counter and seat yourself, servers are not around to check on you or the state of the restaurant. so, tables remained messy for a little while before they were cleaned up. Ordering: i don't like the ordering at the counter and lack of server service. the place doesn't look to be set up that way. you'd think there would be servers as it's kinda like a larger bar. instead you order, sit, wait for your food and you're on your own. it's a little like BW3 was back in the day. Slow: seemed to take a long time for chicken fingers. not a huge deal, but i wouldn't have guessed it'd take so long. i don't want to give the impression, though, that it was more bad than good. the food definitely outweighed the negatives. it's a long way from home but i'd go back for sure. i'd like to try some wings and some other sides as well as some of their appetizers.

I was debating on whether to categorize it as a place to try: just me, me and someone else, or the whole family together. I'm glad I tried it by myself because I wasn't impressed at all. I happened to Door Dash Best Burger. The Door Dash experience was great and none of my comments based on the DD experience will be reflected in my comments since those are uncontrollables outside of the Best Burger experience. With that being said, I had high hopes for Best Burger from reading reviews and being recommended it over & over. I asked friends recently on social media about their favorite burger and most of them recommended Best Burger. My order was: Bacon Cheeseburger with these customization changes (no onion, add ketchup, add mayo). I also love tator tots so I ordered a side of them. The burger was the blandest burger I've ever had. I was expecting their Best Burger sauce and the charbroil flavor to swipe me off my feet. The burger Pattie's were bland and I don't recall tasting any sauces whatsoever even if they were present. The burger had no seasoning or flavor, I'm shocked. The tator tots tasted like your ordinary Tator tots from another basic place even like Sonic. No seasoning!!! I'm sooo glad I didn't order for the whole family or take them because it was a big disappointment. Before tip, the order being Door Dashed was $21. Save your money!
