Atmosphere is still great. Staff is friendly. Seem like they were in slow motion today. Took me 32 minutes to get a fish sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were overcooked. The fish was a little overcooked and very skimpy on the tartar sauce. I was excited to try the cod, which is new to the menu. It was OK. A little bland, very light on tartar sauce and slightly overcooked. Miss the original owner. The new owners have done a great job with the building and upkeep and are very friendly. But quality has gone down a little bit. They do honor veterans, which is totally awesome. read more

Diner food with an emphasis on the fryer. Burgers, fries, chili dogs, fried fish... Little place on the north edge of Alliance. You place your order at the counter and then find a seat. They bring your food to you. I had a burger and onion rings. The burger was a double quarter pounder with cheese. It wasn't a double burger just on extra large burger. It also was not cooked to death. It dripped all over the place. It was pretty good and only 3.95 for a 1/2 lb cheeseburger. The fried stuff we had was fine. Typical frozen ready to go stuff. The wife had a ham and cheese. She liked it. Both my burger and her sandwich came on what looked like a schwebel kaiser roll. I have driven by this place twice a day for ten years and never stopped. OK- this place is most definitely a dump AND a dive, but I love it just for the simple fact that Burger Hut ALWAYS has authentic Blue Moon ice cream when so many other establishments in Alliance & Canton serve a knock-off version that tastes like strawberry ice cream with blue food coloring. That alone earns it a four star review in my book! Now, for those that have never had Blue Moon ice cream, it's the best ice cream IN THE GALAXY and one of those treats you really can ONLY find in Midwestern states for some reason. Ohio of course, Michigan has it, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota...places like that. I've lived in AZ for 11 years now and traveled pretty extensively and have never EVER seen this stuff anywhere else! But yeah, I've been coming here since I was a kid in the 80's and not a thing has changed. They have never and will never remodel and again, this place is a dive and needs a serious facelift. Originally called juicy fruit but Wrigley's already had that name, so since it was a Summer or Seasonal flavor it was only found once in a blue moon people would say. This is a small town diner and I love it this is a family ran business and the people here treat you like your family wether you talking to the workers or the employees they are friendly and the food is great they have wide variety of food and you can't go wrong with it but the fish special all you can eat is the best in my opinion. I love going to Burger Hut after baseball games. (Well, I really like it anytime) They have good fried food. My husband likes their soups. The burger and fries is a yummy, greasy, satisfying meal. They have lots of weekday meal specials. I can feed my family there for the same amount as going to fast food, and it tastes a lot better. And the bonus is great ice cream! They have tons of flavors for every taste. They hand scoop it into a cup, cake cone, or waffle cone. The scoops are huge! They also have milkshakes! It is basically a greasy spoon diner. You order at a counter and sit down to wait on your food. They do have a pavilion outside, which is helpful if you come with a baseball team. Sometimes when they are busy you have to wait in line to order, and food can take a while. Definitely check it out! read more

I went here today to get milkshakes for my family... BIG mistake. I sat at the window (drive-thru speaker doesn't work) for 10 minutes. Finally I see the owner walk behind counter. She looks at me, and then starts folding towels! This went on for several minutes, and there are now 4 more cars behind me. She then finishes her laundry and walks into dining area to clean! Another girl walks out to counter and ignores me as well. When the 3rd girl walks out and starts talking I finally lost my cool. I opened my door, pried open the drive thru window, and said "You have 4 cars out here, people are driving away, and you people are ignoring everyone! How about you quit ignoring me and take my order!" They obviously don't want the business, and I intend to grant them their wish. Never going back, and I suggest you stay clear. read more

first visit today for a quick lunch while running errands. I got a foot long hot dog with mustard, green relish and onions. It went down real easy. Wifey got the same only with sauerkraut. She liked hers as well. The fries were terrific. Not at all like McDonalds. They were hot, fresh and looked like they actually came from a potato. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
