I was visiting Family in Ohio and was not expecting to find a great boba shop. But Milk Jar is just that, a great little shop. They are located on the back side of the Bridgewater Falls shopping area. Inside is modern and minimalist, but clean and welcoming. Menu in chalk on the walls, plenty of seating inside, I don't believe there are any seats outside, or maybe just the time of year being cold. The girl behind the counter was very nice and made my drink perfectly. I got their standard milk tea with black teas as the base and with boba of course. The tea itself was sweet, not overly sweet though and the boba's were excellent. Soft, sweet with a hint of honey. The Boba can make or break a boba shop. Living in Los Angeles, there are so many places to choose from, but not all are good, sometimes the boba is off. Milk Jar does the drink perfect as well as the Boba, so I was really happy to find a great spot in Ohio to get boba whenever I come to visit Family. I would recommend you trying them out for their drinks and boba. They also have rolled ice cream and shaved ice, both of which I did not try but looked very good. Enjoy! read more

This place is located towards the back on Bridgewater Falls across from Target. The customer service was good. The lady working the front counter was very helpful and informative. They have a great variety of drinks, rolled ice cream, and cereal bowls to choose from. They do offer samples of their teas for you to try. That was nice and it really helped make the decision what to get. The price of the drinks were comparable to other places. The drinks we ordered tasted really good and refreshing. We didn't care for their joke of the day when we were in there. Overall, it's a good place to get boba tea and other refreshing tea or fruit drinks. Maybe one day we will try their rolled ice cream....it sounded good. read more

Awesome spot with a really good dirty milk tea (basically same as a brown sugar milk tea). Only downside is there are only 2 people and it can get busy so there's a wait. And their cups of flimsy. But other than that they do have good boba!! read more

I've tried to give this place multiple chances, but each visit has been disappointing. I always order the taro milk tea, and every time there's been a serious issue. The first visit, the drink was mostly ice. The second time, there was a large chunk of unmixed taro in the cup. The third time was the most concerning -- the drink was separated and had a curdled texture instead of being creamy, which made me worry that the ingredients may have been spoiled. Milk or creamer in taro should never curdle unless it's expired, stored improperly, or mixed with something acidic after sitting too long. This isn't a preference issue -- it's a food safety concern. The shop wasn't busy during any of these visits, yet the drinks were still poorly made and inconsistent. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

The drinks are good however... the cups that is being used are not the regular boba cups. You're suppose to be able flip it over and shake to mix the drinks. Now you can't with the flimsy cup and top. They need to use the the original boba cups for the drinks. read more

Nestled in the Bridgewater Falls shopping complex between the US Marines Recruiting Station and PearleVision Eye Center, this new novel business knows how to MILK a demographic and prime location. But what's the scoop, you ask? Here's the [boba] tea... My family and I were eager to try MILK JAR and sample their rolled ice cream delights. But, these frosty creations come with a price tag that could make a cow leap over the moon. We coughed up a hefty $20.99 for three small cups of ice-milk stuff, generously sprinkled with the likes of Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Now, I'm not one to milk it, but that's utterly overpriced. While we were eating our rolled ice milk and cereal thingies, a family of three came in to order what they dubbed the "Cereal Killer" specials. These poor souls shelled out $5.60 each for a combination of popular cereals, dry-mixed into a sealed bowl. Now, THAT would have brought out the tiger in me! And guess what? They even received a separate bottle of grocery store milk, poured into another sealed container, as if pouring your own milk has become a luxurious service. They walked away with a bag full of single-use plastic bowls and bottles for a grand total of $16.80. How are you going to eat that on-the-go? Not to mention it's June in Ohio and when you spill it in your car (and for that price)--I'd even cry over THAT spilled milk! I almost snapped, crackled, and POPPED! Maybe they were literally cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? The struggle is real. Now let's talk tea. This boba tea trend has taken the US by storm, leaving many like me scratching our heads like confused clowns juggling watermelons. Personally, I struggle to wrap my mind around the appeal of overspiced and savory drinks with tapioca fish eyes bobbing about. But hey, to each their own! I mean, when I was in college I thought Jagermeister tasted good. So Whatevs. What's my final verdict on Milk Jar? As a self-proclaimed cereal connoisseur who can devour a salad bowl of Fruity Pebbles at 2 a.m. with a soup ladle, I can appreciate the concept. However, when it comes to forking over a fortune for lackluster ice cream, puzzling milk-pouring experiences, and a side dish of environmental guilt, I won't be moo-ving my way back anytime soon. Three stars for the yummy boxed cereal and the good time writing this review. However, if you're an unabashed Milk Jar aficionado, wear your JAR-HEAD status with pride! Another location close to home but this one has the ice cream options. The location is right across from the Bridgewater fall's target. I enjoyed the Unicorn poop rolled ice cream(fruit pebbles). From the wide variety of bubble teas on their menu, I always go for the matcha drinks. Great spot to hang out with friends or study. read more

I honestly love this place! The workers Are so nice, usually young lady's just saving up for college or just off the school bus to work, but beware! If you give tips on card the lady's making the ice cream do not receive those tips! Try to tip CASH ONLY! Again love this place though. Fast and fun icecream. read more

The employees were extremely nice! But as for the boba it isn't traditional boba the taro milk tea was a thick almost like cake consistency. The mango tea with mango popping was eh, when drinking there was little pieces? Maybe or something else besides the popping boba and it was just gross. I wouldn't recommend coming here to get boba. read more
