I get nauseous even thinking about our meal. Our plan was to spend some time at the beach after lunch, but the incredibly loud techno music they decide to play in the middle of the day made it unbearable. There wasn't one person dancing and actually the rest of the patrons seemed pretty annoyed. Read the room DJ. Overall the worst experience of our trip to Acapulco.

They have typical beach food - tacos, nachos, burgers, club sandwiches, etc - and everything I had over the 3 times I visited was great. Prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent. Staff were all really nice. I spoke to the owner and said 'your place is very nice!' And he replied 'it's your place too'. Washrooms were clean. They had lots of lounge chairs and covered beds where you can get a massage or purchase various souvenirs the vendors were selling on the beach. Felt very safe there too. Some of the other parts along the waterfront made you make sure your wallet was locked in your pocket. We felt comfortable enough to leave our stuff at our chairs and go swimming in the ocean. Definitely will be back here next time I visit this heavenly part of the world. And would recommend this place to anybody.

Don't judge me! ), or a quick tequila shot and beer! The staff at the restaurant and bar are truly friendly and amazing to hangout with! Another amazing perk are the 4 swimming pools that surround the area! Bring the whole family and enjoy a wading pool, or even a pool that has mock waves so kids can pretend to be at a real beach! [Side note: the waves aren't that big, so don't plan on bringing your surf board or boogie board!] Here's the plan on your first day at resort Mundo Imperial: after check in, get settled and then immediately proceed to Agua and grab a cold beer and a shot of tequila (they have many varieties!) - it's the best way to kick off your vacation! Salud!

Santa Clara is a chain of ice cream shops and dairy products. I live a few blocks from one in DF…read morebut had never tried it. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the ice cream is! Maybe it was because it was 90 degrees out and I was sweating like a dinner in church, but this ice cream was awesome! I tried the mint chocolate chip and one scoop was plenty- really generous! Good texture and flavor, too. I'll definitely keep Santa Clara on my short list of ice cream places to frequent. I withheld one star because the flavors were good but not creative - just the basics.
