Stopped to browse as you do and wasn't pounced on like some garages their cars have full description in the window so didn't have to ask anyone for mileage, spec etc (not seen that before).. But a costly browse as I spotted a Pug convertible that I knew my wife would love (and love me for buying it....) A fair deal, new MOT and service thrown in without hassle or asking, they even got the road tax for me at cost. A first in my car buying expereince. I left them poorer but didn't feel robbed as 1 or 2 car purchases I've made before and suffered afterwards. Thanks lads will recommend to all my friends and family its just a shame your located so far from Sussex.

They conduct their business from the beautiful surroundings of their home, where you can take your time and embrace the car you are purchasing, without other people or car salesman looking on. I purchased what i believe was the best example of a Porsche 997 Turbo in the country!! The car was as described with everything complete. This was a purchase from the heart and Baron & Sarah's way of dealing with my purchase was the icing on the cake. To sum up, a good old fashioned prestigious garage run by honest people surrounded with amazing cars. I look forward to Baron informing me of when he gets a the right 991 Turbo, just hopefully not to soon so I can enjoy the car I have just got!! Martin Hughes

Owning an Alfa Romeo is more about emotion than rationality. It literally makes no financial sense…read moreto own an Alfa Romeo; well at least one made (stuck together?) before about 2004. If you are an Alfa owner you just accept that the price of ownership is much more than the windscreen price you paid when you fell in love in the first place. So if you are bitten by the Alfa bug, you need to make friends with people like the chaps at Alfa Aid. Unlike your average motor shop, they won't look at you, point and laugh when you drag your reluctant pride and joy for a service, MOT or a bit of TLC. They understand that you couldn't help buying the car; that once you had the test drive, felt the handling and heard the engine note you were smitten. In fact it's reassuring to hear that they have the Alfa bug much worse than you do. So I have just picked up my 147 following pretty major automotive heart surgery. The guys up there, Adrian and Lee were pretty good prior to me booking the car in they gave me a quote that was 40% less than the local main dealer and they stuck to it. Having said that they also helpfully suggested a few others bits to be done at the same time (while the engine was out!) and made sure I was sitting down when they broke the news about the cost. But now I picked up the car the results are just brilliant quite literally it feels like driving a new car. Yes it was stupid amount to spend on my beloved italian box of mis-connected nuts and bolts but I have now resigned myself to spending the approximate total retail value of my car at least once a year. But hey, this is probably 2 months payments on a new car and a many many times the fun! So in summary, if you have an Alfa Romeo built before 2004, live within 15 miles or so of Maidenhead you really should speak to Alfa Aid before going anywhere else. You will save a little money but learn a lot more about your Alfa especially how to get at least a few more precious months on the road together

The reason I keep going back is that they just seem honest, tell me what needs doing and have never played that game where one price is given and then rises without good reason.
