Awful. The stuff was half rotten and everything had bugs in it when I got it home and cut it open.

At 5pm--with the place all but deserted--my son was taking a photograph near this market kiosk. He had a small tripod. The owner -- Chris Doris -- waited for an opportunity to catch my son alone and rudely told him his taking photos "didn't pay the bills" and that he was "blocking customers." My son has autism and is taking a program at Fanshawe College. It is very sad that this member of the "friendly and respected staff" missed an opportunity to connect with a potential customer. (Ironically, we have purchased produce here since moving to London in August (from Toronto) and I was going to buy some more today). How cowardly to wait until the parent/adult was gone to go in and try and bully a young person. Want to build your business? Want to encourage some community building? How about supporting young people in getting an education? Needless to say I went back and told this guy off. I'll get my produce elsewhere. This person needs to visit St. Lawrence Market in Toronto on a Saturday to get a grip on what "busy" and "blocking customers" might look like.

Sure, it could be more economical to buy the whole fruit or veg -- and you can do that here, of course -- but as a solo and indecisive cook, the pre-cut smaller portions work for me. They have many options in that vein, but also a full and colourful selection of local produce. Fresh herbs, too. Plus many jams, sauces & dry pasta to compliment your shopping. It's the only place in the market I get my fruits & vegetables from.

Farm Boy is taking over London! With 3 locations after just a short time, there must be something…read moregood about this place! What was I missing?! Upon first inspection, the store is really clean and bright. Instead of a ton of packaged product, they have a lot of fresh foods and store made/prepared items for sale. There are only about 6 small aisles of packaged food, the rest is all the good stuff around the perimeter of the store. Produce, butcher, seafood, deli, bakery. What I loved the most was the hot food and salad bar! Tons and tons of options, all of which looked very fresh and amazing. My boyfriend got the biggest salad I've ever seen, and I purchased some items from the hot bar. You could easily get lunch here for around $7. There is a ton of room to sit and eat your food as well. The cake and salmon we purchased were very yummy and fresh. It took a bit of time waiting for someone to help us at the seafood counter but when they did, they were very very nice. The prices here varied. For almond milk, it seemed the typical price you would pay at Loblaw. For cereal, you're going to pay more. I'd probably stay away from those inner shelving units, the good stuff is on the outside! Maybe I'll actually start cooking thanks to Farm Boy!

Farm Boy is a great fresh market to get local produce, meat, dairy, cheeses and unique items you…read morewouldn't normally find at a regular grocery store. I think the best part about Farm Boy is their Hot Bar/Salad Bar! I have to admit, I mostly come for their salad bar, they have such a huge selection of toppings, lettuce, pasta salads, and healthy options, and cornbread to top it off. They offer a salad card, 10 salads equals 1 free salad, if you're a frequent salad bar goer such as myself. If you want fresh food to pick up for tonight's meal, here would be a good place to pick up the items you need.

Their salads are crisp and bright, and the sandwiches feel hearty in your hands, packed with flavour. Their meat, produce, and cheese selection is also great -- everything looks vibrant, fresh, and inviting. The staff are always friendly and offer genuinely great service, which makes every visit feel easy and welcoming. And the bakery... the warm, sweet smell drifting through the aisles makes it impossible to walk by without slowing down just to breathe it in. I only wish there were another location in Streetsville, Mississauga, so all those colours, aromas, and grab‑and‑go treats were just a little closer to home.

Customer Warning! Last week, I purchased a prepared salad from Remark Fresh Markets. Unfortunately,…read morethe lettuce was soggy and not fresh. I have purchased many salads from your store over the years, and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. Due to a busy schedule, I was unable to return to the store until the following weekend. I brought the original container with the store label, date, and remaining contents, but I no longer had the receipt. The manager advised that a refund or exchange was not possible because I had not contacted the store immediately after discovering the issue. I explained that I found the problem during the week and did not have time to make a special trip or call regarding a salad. While I understand the need for a return policy, I believe customers should be clearly informed that prepared food concerns must be reported immediately in order to qualify for a refund or exchange. As a regular customer, I was disappointed by both the product quality and the handling of my concern. I hope management will consider making this policy more visible so customers understand the requirements if a problem arises.
