The burglars were able to cut off my lock and go through every tote and box in my storage unit undetected. My unit was in a climate controlled building and found out later that both cameras in my building did not work. Other units were broken into as well. It has been three months now and the Insurance agent is trying everything in their power to not pay my claim. Burglars stole all my Christmas gifts that were brand new and I had to try to replace, all my products that I use for my job and items that were given to me after my mothers recent passing. This entire experience has been stressful beyond belief! Be careful if you store your things here and make sure you take video and photos of all your belongings in case of theft. I wish I had. I never thought that I would have to worry about theft in a gated place with cameras all over the place. There's rarely ever anyone in the office, so good luck talking to anyone. This is my second Unit because someone else's caught fire in the first building and they forced me to move out and tried to make me move out of the whole complex but the office staff found me another unit. But the worst are the rates... and they border on fraudulent and deceptive marketing. They are a "month to month" facility and they adjust rates based on demand, yada yada, their whole excuse factory. Rented my unit on 2022 at $127 per month... then it went up to $177 a few months later... then over $200, and then in 2025 went to $309 per month. Here we are, 2026 with a $309 per month rental while they still list the "standard price" for the same unit on their website at $157. Absolutely abhorrent behavior and probably something states attorneys general should be looking at. Avoid at all costs, they give your enticing rates to draw you in and then drop the hammer because they know it's not convenient to change units and move your stuff.
