I had the best manicure of my life at the OPI Nail Bar, located in Selfridges. My nails really stood the test over the course of two weeks: briney salt water in Barcelona and Valencia, partying hardy in Ibiza, and lugging/packing/unpacking/re-packing a 32 kg suitcase (I like to shop, sue me!). The amazing part is that my nails did not chip or break. They were in pristine condition after all of this. It was pricey though, I wasn't expecting to pay $50 for a manicure but I was desperate and it was worth it. The Nail Bar has all of the new OPI colors available both to use for your manicure and for purchase. You even get to pick out which lotion you want to use...that hand massage was heaven! The technicians take their time and are in no hurry to rush you out (even though the space is tiny, especially if you already have shopping bags). My only complaint is that because the nail bar is located in the women's street wear section of Selfridges (where all of the Oasis, All Saints, Miss Sixty stuff is), that I was subject to La Roux/ Sugababes/ David Guetta blasting for 45 minutes.

I've been looking for a place that does that in ny and no luck so far! My nails had always lasted the whole three weeks i wore them before changing the color. The only reason I changed the color was because my cuticles would grow out! They make their own products and they are so much better for your nails. My nails were never thinned out when they took of the gel which i loved! They also never used a device when they were applying to thin out my nails. At first it was odd and seemed kinda lazy because i was so used to a different gel process but honestly, my nails had never looked as good as they did when i went here all the time!

They were very focused and attentive to detail. I got a no chip/shallack manicure (with soak off) and regular pedicure. Making a reservation online was REALLY easy. I had two badly broken toe nails that they cut, filed, and patched so they wouldn't break more. It was painless and the acrylic looks exactly like my real toenail. They dont do waxing, but there is a place literally next door (Just Wax It).

I've been going to Sibel for my hair for the past 18 months and have been extremely happy with the quality of her cuts and her coloring skills.
