Moreover, if you had visited my location, I could have discussed two additional tasks that would significantly increase the scope and cost of the project to your advantage. In response to the owner, I did provide descriptions for additional projects in the original request. I was concerned about potential damage to the tiles that could require significant repairs. I have expressly said that I was willing to pay a premium for proper handling of the situation. When I mentioned those concerns, other providers did express a lot more caution about the tile situation and they came out to make sure it could be done. I understand that there's an opportunity cost to come out in person but I expected a premium service provider to be able to do so. That's simply not materialized.

As a senior citizen, I rely on my home security system for peace of mind--but for months, my ADT system has been non-functional. I made dozens of phone calls, each taking up to an hour just to get past the maze of hold music and transfers. After finally reaching someone who could help, I was told I needed a brand-new system and a new contract. So I agreed, trusting that this would finally resolve the issue. Wrong. A technician came to my home and spent over 6 hours trying to install the system--only to tell me it wouldn't work without new motion sensors, which I had to pay for out of pocket. I was also misled into thinking the new system would work with my existing cameras. It doesn't. The best part? After all that time, effort, and money--the new system doesn't even work. It constantly malfunctions, giving false alerts and telling me doors are open when they're not. Total failure. This is a company that profits off fear, offers misleading sales pitches, fails to deliver basic service, and then has the audacity to lock you into a contract. Their "customer service" is a joke--disorganized, evasive, and completely indifferent to your time and safety. Do yourself a favor--don't walk, RUN from ADT.

Rick was extremely helpful; he installed cameras, upgraded the alarm system that I had, and gave me suggestions of other things that I could do, including referring somebody that could put a TSA seal on my glass. He didn't have to recommend another company, but he was generous enough to want to help with my security. It wasn't long after that that the burglars returned. With Rick's help, I was able to retrieve the video and provide it to the police. It turned out it was a ring of burglaries, 32 to be exact. If it wasn't for the video that Rick provided, they would have never caught them. A few years later, the same thing happened. The video was so clear that I was able to contact the police and share it, and they identified the burglars and again they were caught. Through the years, Rick and his team have upgraded my cameras and been there whenever I had a question. Recently, I had to change out my internet provider. Mike came and hooked everything up to the cameras and the alarm system. It took no time at all, and he was so helpful and very patient with me.
