This was by far the best work I could have ever imagined! I asked around for quotes from many companies and not only were the prices far more reasonable but they passed every test I could give them as far as specs on wiring (after consulting an electrical engineer I had all the right questions to ask, most companies could not answer with the correct safety specs!) Not only was the work done safely, thoughtfully and reasonably but it was more beautiful than anything I could have imagined. I had a blank slate and need to electrify a tiny house. They came up with a beautiful intricate wiring system that included dimmers and 3 way switches. The picture I attached sadly doesn't capture the beauty of the work that they did. There were multiple lights on different dimmers, a 3 way switch that could be controlled by the upstairs or downstairs switch, a dimmable retractable fan and multiple exterior lights. He was available and we had a problem. Our electrical outlets and lights in our master bedroom were flickering on and off. Since we live in an older condo, was worried we might have a short, bad wiring, or a breaker on the fritz. He showed up right on time. He was a very nice person. But 4 hours later, our ceiling fan and lights were no longer working and a switched outlet was now working from a different switch than before. He was apologetic but things had gotten worse not better. He didn't charge me and promised to come back to fix the issues but we never heard back. 3e may be great for ceiling fans and new outlets but a hard fail on troubleshooting. FLAKE After making plans 5 days before our scheduled project, Eden flaked on me. I set aside my Saturday and was ready and waiting. 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment I text him to ask if he is still coming. He says, "sorry but I have another job I'm backed up on. I wanted to let u know earlier but I couldn't find your contact info." We had been communicating extensively thru Yelp and personal texting. NOT hard to find me. I just don't buy it. He needs to get more organized and learn how to run a business and treat customers. He gets 2 stars because he said sorry. He may be decent at his job(I don't know), but be prepared be flaked on. read more

Eden moved my ceiling fan from my office to the living room, which was no small task -- he had to go into the attic, which had tons of old, loose insulation, to get the wiring correct and do a new installation in the LV. He really went above and beyond. When it was getting late and I told him not to worry about sweeping up the mess, he insisted he clean up. Fantastic work ethic here! Just a pleasure. Very reasonable rates. Only went up a little from the estimate, which I was not surprised because my house is 100 years old and the wiring isn't exactly up to date. Eden and Eduardo were fabulous. They installed a Telsa supercharger for me and the installation was super complicated because my home is built into a hillside and my main electrical on the side of my home a long distance from my garage where I wanted the charger installed. The supercharger could also not be run from a sub panel inside my home because electrical would have to have been run through concrete as my house is comprised of a lot of concrete and framed with steel on. a hillside. I had sought 6 different quotes and they were definitely the most reasonable. But I also want to say that I have experience with contractors as I built my own custom home and have been in the business of representing contractors (as an attorney) for more than 20 years. My brother is also a general contractor. So I know contractors as I have been around them my whole life, in both my professional life and my family life. I will also say that I am a single mom with three young kids and live in a big home in an expensive neighborhood. I am used to getting outrageous quotes for work to be done because people see the house and see single woman and make assumptions that I am wealthy and will pay more and am a woman so I don't know any better and will pay more. But because I represent contractors and my brother is a general contractor I either know what is reasonable or have a good way to check. I was impressed from the very beginning with this father and son team. Their quote was excellent and given the same day Eden was out. In fact as far as technology is concerned they are super advanced. Few of my contractor clients are as advanced in the estimate process (which was sent and approved electronically). Not sure what happened with a couple of the other reviews because my experience could not have been more different. In fact when it started raining I got a call right away asking if we could move the install to the next day. I will also say when I went to pay, I tried to confirm the amount and gave Eden a number that was way higher than his quote, Eden corrected me right away and said no, that is too much. In all honesty he could have said, yes thats right and I would not have known the difference. All I can say is that when it comes to contractors, there are a lot of questionable people out there but this is a company that is honest to fault. Truthfully he underestimated the job and I knew that based on what I was told by my brother and other contractors. So I paid them more that they quoted even though they did not ask because I believe in giving a fair wage for a job well done. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the job and swept up and returned my stuff to the condition that existed before they started. Seriously recommend this team. Spend some time chatting with them both and you will see that these are good, hardworking people, honest and responsible. You cannot go wrong with this father son team and frankly I like the idea of supporting a small family owned business. Finally I will say that my dogs loved Eden and Eduardo and the last time I had a I bad experience with a contractor I felt like I should have known better because my dogs growled at him and got their hackles up. In retrospect it was clearly a warning sign. Maybe its nonsense but I think dogs can tell and my dogs just wanted to love on Eden and his dad. I will also note that I checked their license with the CSLB and verified they are licensed, bonded and insured with no prior complaints with the contractors state licensing board. read more

Problem: My solar company wanted me to hire an electrician to add a conduit from the panel to the attic to where they could make their connections. (I guess my solar doesn't do wallboard work.) I searched around Yelp for local businesses and 3e Electrical was one that responded quickly. I sent them photos of my panel that I took prior to cover at my condo so the route to the attic was straight forward but required some cutting and patching. I received a very good quote after contacting 3 electricians and chose them to do the work as they could do it right away. They discovered right away that my panel was not grounded and the work was not finished by the builder meaning none of my outlets were grounded. Besides adding the two additional conduits that I wanted, (one for the solar work and one for future as the wall was opened up), they made right the house ground and also patched back the wallboard and also put some mud in the joints. That meant that all I needed to do was buy a can of spray texture and then paint it. They did the work and cleaned up and were out in a little over a couple of hours.
