Millenium USA recently painted our house's interior and did some patch work on a couple of our ceilings. We found the owner, Marco Fuentes, to be absolutely outstanding to work with! The crew arrived each morning on time and ready to work. The work was very well done, and Mr. Fuentes came by every day to check on the crew, oversee the quality, and guide them, as needed. They did an excellent job and their prices are reasonable. Mr. Fuentes has an incredible eye for detail and precision. If something was even slightly off, he made the crew go back over an area until it was correct. After having some terrible experiences with contractors, Mr. Fuentes has restored my faith that there are still people who believe that excellent workmanship is important. read more

Millennium USA Painting recently stained my backyard deck and fence, replace rotted wood up near the roof and around the windows as needed, and painted all the exterior wood surfaces. I also had them do some drywall repair and painting on the inside. They did a superb job, and for a very reasonable price. This is a top-notch painting company. I had an exterior paint job that needed to be done in early winter before the really cold weather set in. Marco came out promptly and gave me a price. Since two days of nice weather were upcoming, he said he could start the next day and finish the following day. I was a little skeptical at first because there was quite a bit of painting to be done. But Marco reassured me not to worry and that he could get the job done. True to his word, Marco and his crew showed up at 8 AM the following morning with their equipment including ladders and scaffolding (some of the work was two stories up) and promptly began the prep work, using bondo for repair and sanding as necessary. Turned out there was some rotted wood that needed to be replaced and that was done promptly as well. The painting began later in the day and was completed the following day as promised. They even painted areas that were not in the original proposal and when it was all done, everything looked amazing. Then, to put the frosting on the cake, Marco said he would stick with his original price and would not charge anything extra for the extra painting or the replacement of the rotted wood. I cannot say enough good things about Marco and his crew. They were prompt polite, friendly, respectful and thoroughly professional. And, the cleanup was outstanding -- not a drop of paint anywhere. Marco and his team just painted my newly built screened in porch and did an outstanding job. And when I get around to painting the interior of my house, I would absolutely use them again. The estimate was clear and detailed (cleaning and with what, brand of primer and paint, all brands used were highly rated by Consumer Reports, versus being forced to use another brand). Everything was covered because they used a sprayer for the ceiling (wood beams and wainscot ceiling panels) and hand painted the vertical support posts holding the screens. We recently purchased our first home and have had a handful of good experiences with contractors but by and large we've been completely disappointed. People upsell you products and services you don't need, never follow up or return calls, give outrageous estimates. It's been very hard to find honest, trustworthy contractors who do quality work. We used Millennium to paint the entire interior of our home after reading the unparalleled good reviews on consumer checkbook. No other company in the DMV comes close. So I felt pretty confident when we called them for an estimate. Marco, the owner, came the SAME DAY that I called for the estimate, gave an honest assessment of what needed done (for example, thought the ceilings looked fine), did some calculations and gave me an estimate on the spot. His estimate was very reasonable, especially considering the INSANE estimate we got from another company which had taken them 2 days to turn around. For responsiveness and reasonableness, Marco was already my favorite contractor. The previous paint job was abysmal: they'd use some sort of exterior industrial paint on the trim and it took Marco and his team THREE coats to get it looking great. Despite the fact that it took Marco far more work to do the job than he'd anticipated (AND he got a couple parking tickets), he never asked for anything beyond the initial estimate. He provided me updates throughout the process, called if he had questions, and left the house completely clean. Marco cares a LOT about customer satisfaction (which is why his consumer checkbook reviews are so high). Our electrician (Jim Conner 202-470-3592; he and Marco are literally the only contractors I'd unreservedly recommend right now) who came by the next day even said "Man, this paint looks great. Whoever did this did a great job." I really wish every contractor cared this much about customer service. read more

Overall I'm happy, the pricing is very reasonable not cheap but the quality of their work makes up for it. Marco and team painted both the exterior and a lot of the interior of my old Mass Ave Heights home. He worked fast and used a large crew to move the project along. He and his crew are extremely hard working -- 13 hours the first day -- and are careful and highly professional. Prices are reasonable and while perhaps there are cheaper outfits, the price/value combination here is very high. Marco tries especially hard to meet any request and gets personally involved in supervising. If you've ever had a bad paint job, you know that price alone is not the only factor and you get a really great result with this company at a price that is fair. read more

Marco is great to deal with. He went out of way to work with me in getting my small job done to satisfy my HOA despite the heavy rains. I'm very satisfied with the job his painters did in wire brushing, cleaning, and undercoating with two coats of top coats. Millennium is amazing, I have asked for their help twice already, and I would recommend them again in a heartbeat. The owner Marco, is a very honest and hardworking guy. The first time I asked him to come out for a bid, he was the only one out of a whole bunch of different companies, that actually recommended that we may want to save money but not painting over some rotted wooden windows because it would be only a temporary fix, and save that money for new windows instead. I went in with two neighbors and we had Millennium paint each of our three duplexes -- soffit and fascia, trim around doors, metal railings, and some doors. We have owned a home for over 40 years and this is the best house painter we have ever worked with. Marco, the owner, was informative and open about problems that had to be fixed, rather than painted over. He prepped and painted extra items that we had not included in our specifications, such as thresholds, handrails. His crew were responsible and respectful of our home and possessions and they arrived when they said they would. We found that they routinely recommend the high quality paint and prep materials that we prefer. We thought their price was very fair, and they were reasonable when they had to do something extra that was not included in the original price. Millenium did an excellent job and besides painting, did some carpentry. I will use them again for all contracting jobs in the future! I got two bids from painting companies and although Millenium's bid was a bit higher there were no hidden costs like the other company's bid. The owner of this company, Mr. Marco Fuentes is honest and very experienced as his crew, particularly his brother too! We got our house painted but so much more. First this company primes and two coats of paint- high quality paint. Millenium caulked many places where the caulking was coming away. They fixed some rotted wood in parts of the house as well as a hole left from termite damage on our front porch. There was a little hole that went from the outside at the bottom of side door of the garage- Millenium fixed it as well as the door jamb that looked awful from too many paint layers. Millenium fixed that perfectly to look like a new door jamb. They fixed so many problem areas beyond the painting. The owner also had another great idea and offered to paint this old vent on the roof from the past owner's stove! Our house looks so much better because of the great job that Millenium did on the painting and also fixing all of the little things that needed to be fixed! They even wiped and cleaned off the window sills on the first floor so the house looks so good now! And we paid exactly what we were told it would cost with all of these extras. read more
