Javier and his team came through to replace three walls of very thin shiplap installed in the basement with insulation and drywall and they did an amazing job. They were highly professional and very kind from estimate to finish and we highly recommend them for any drywall related repairs. Upon pulling down the shiplap, they found that the framing was much thinner than expected and went out to buy better insulation right away. These guys did an AMAZING job cleaning up my duradek vinyl rooftop deck. I hadn't cleaned the deck in 4 years and there was dirt and mildew everywhere. Javier came to my small rental house last week to give me an estimate to paint the place when my tenants move out next month. I was very impressed with his eye for detail -- and not only about what needed to be painted. The old fluorescent lights in the laundry room weren't working -- the problem could have been the ballast. Javier suggested I replace those 2 old fixtures with inexpensive LED lights rather than try to get the old fixtures to work. A flawless job! Oscar and Hector arrived a few minutes early and went right to work, thoroughly protecting.the valuable furnishings in my home office before doing anything else. They then meticulously replaced, taped and repainted the wallboard sections that had been removed by a plumber in order to access and repair two waterline breaks, one in the ceiling and another in an exterior wall. They even went to the trouble of finding a perfectly matching paint in my garage to.replace a can I had set aside for their use because my selection was not an exact match. Javier and his workers are true professionals. 4 years ago, I did a reverse bid by inviting 4 guys off craigslist and yelp, asked for quotes and references and picked Yawata Company. The attention to detail and paint quality is truly amazing. The lines between trim, baseboards and walls are perfect, no runs, no unevenness, if it needs to be primered they will do it. I'm no Michaelangelo, but I used to do all the painting in the house myself. Once you let Javier work his magic, you realize how DIY my paint job looked. After using the web site to request an appointment, waiting a week, and calling three times over the course of another two weeks, no one bothered to contact me and no appointment was made. I couldn't be more pleased with the results; the quality of work and the professionalism of Yawata Company LLC are outstanding! Javier and his brother do awesome work; they explained the required work to be performed, offered different pricing options - depending on my needs or desires, and were punctual as per agreed upon start time. Their work is meticulous, they did not take any short-cuts, after fixing my ceiling they used a primer to cover the water-stains before painting (the whole ceiling) with the original color tone -- they took a ceiling paint sample, and while Javier fixed the hole in my ceiling, his brother went to the paint store to get the correct paint....efficient and fast. They did the same for my hallway drywall. It needed a "small" hole repair after I got the inside part of my air conditioner replaced....the A/C Repair Service had to access the water supply lines and had to remove part of my drywall located above the indoor unit. Javier and his brother fixed the hole expertly, the wall looked perfect and they painted the whole wall afterward. They made sure that the drywall mud was completely dry before painting and ensured my satisfaction at each step before proceeding. Yawata Company takes a lot of pride in their work and it shows. I needed some drywall and painting work done in one of my bedrooms. I chose Yawata Company based on the excellent reviews on Yelp. The work provided by Yawata was highly professional. Javier and Hideki scheduled a home visit, provided an onsite detailed explanation of the work to be performed, then emailed me the formal and detailed estimate for the work to be performed with a copy of proof of insurance to do the work. The work crew promptly arrived as scheduled to perform the work and made sure to cover up everything necessary to minimize dust and dirt cleanup after completion of the work. Hideki also provided ongoing progress reports of the work with photos. The only thing I may do differently in the future is to choose my own preferred brand of paint.
