No stars would be appropriate. They take advantage of the elderly. My mom, who has had a stroke and is in the nursing home acquired the services of Miller Dental Group Pooler, LLC to realign her dentures because she had lost significant weight which resulted in her dentures not fitting correctly. She paid $800.00 to them up front on July 25, 2025. They took 2 minutes to "realign" the dentures and then told us to follow up to determine whether or not the dentures needed to be readjusted again or new ones were needed. At the follow up appointment she informed them that they did not fit and she was unable to wear the dentures. The dentist recommended obtaining a new set of top dentures instead of trying to realign them to fit. They told us at that appointment (and two other previous occasions), that the amount previously paid to them would be applied to those new dentures. It was decided that she would come back for an appointment to get fitted for the new dentures. However, after this was decided (in the same appointment), prior to leaving, the dentist then had his staff informed us that he was not going to do anything until she consulted with a specialist first. We stated that obviously we could not afford that as all of my mom's income was income was going to the nursing home. Despite informing the staff, the dentist still refused to do anything until she went to the specialist which was going to cost close to $300.00 to just get in the door to talk to the specialist, money which we did not have. Because the dentist refused to do anything further, we asked for a refund of the monies that were previously paid as nothing was done and nothing was going to be done. We were told that someone from the practice would call us about the issue of the refund. Never received a phone call and had to contact the practice again in January, 2026, at which time, the practice informed them that they would not refund any money at all for services never rendered and dentures that she was never able to use. $800.00 for nothing! I visted the office on 4/15/25, I was not in the best mood for personal reasons, but after my visit with Ms. Morgan I felt better. She was so patient and she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I really appreciated her kindness towards me. This was the worst dentist experience I've ever had. They care more about collecting as much money as possible as opposed to making your teeth healthy. It was a first visit as I was trying out a new dentist closer to home and he proceeded to tell me all the work I needed done- including two crowns and 3 cavities and fillings. Mind you, I go to the dentist for cleanings every 4 months so I knew this was bogus. But on my way out, they handed me an estimate of almost 3k in work that 'needed to be done' and that was with my dental insurance. I visited with a new dentist today (a month later) for a second opinion and it couldn't have been a more opposite experience. I had no cavities and no need for crowns at this time. After wasting two hours of my day, I was turned away because I did not want x-rays. Make no mistake, the focus of Miller Dental is your wallet, not your health. For the record, my mouth and teeth are in great health. All I needed and wanted was a cleaning. I would have given them my family's business if they would have worked with me, but no. Instead they delivered a long song and dance about how they would lose their license if they didn't do x-rays but the girl telling that tall tale clearly did not believe it herself. I am fine with x-rays when needed, but with no pain or other issues, why get irradiated? Every single time I got x-rays in the past the dentist would say, "Your teeth look great!"...that will be $300. I am sick and tired of doctors abusing their patients and calling it healthcare. Extremely dissatisfied. I was originally quoted $290 per side for deep cleaning. I got the one side done previously and came back today for the other. I was told at my appointment that the cost is now $350. I was never informed before my scheduled appointment or when I arrived. I found out as they were about to begin. I normally don't leave reviews like this as I am a thankful person, but I felt disrespected here. They seem nice, however, they wanted to do some unnecessary work on my teeth (2 fillings and a crown on a previous filling). After a second and third opinion, I had confirmation that it would be unnecessary work. My teeth were healthy without cavities. A dentist should protect and preserve your teeth, not drill for profit. I decided to take a step away, however, they are welcome to contact me if they want to apologize or make it right. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Miller Dental Group at this time. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Miller, since 2007. I have had nice visits. His staff WAS nice, friendly, and understanding. These past few months, I have left that building agitated. This current staff(not all of them). One girl in particular. Takes your debit card from your hand, yet, when she is done with it, places it on the counter(wearing gloves). She is rude and I wish Ms. Ann, and a few of the other nicer girls were still there. I am looking to change dentists. Dr. Miller is nice but, his current staff makes me want to take my business elsewhere. read more

I had several problems with the front staff. After arriving for my appointment I offered my insurance card and was told it was not needed. Later after been told to take a seat, they asked for my insurance card and then she stated that I will have to reschedule because she did not have enough time to put in my insurance information. I have been going there for over 5 years and never had problems with the staff like this. Also they called, emailed and texted several irritating time about my appointment. They even changed the time of my appointment at the last minute. I do not have a problem with the hygienist or doctor, its just the front staff. read more

Staff is all very friendly. Office is nice and modern. But I had a crown put in and almost 2 years later I still have sensitivity issues with the tooth... I've since moved from Savannah and have had to have another dentist work on the crown. When I was still living in Savannah and called about the problems a year after getting the crown, they told me it was normal to experience this. Maybe it is... I recently purchased a groupon offered by Miller Dental for a complete exam, including cleaning and x-rays. I was informed that I had 3 cavities, which surprised me, and that I needed fillings immediately. Currently I do not have dental insurance so this worried me. I decided to get a second opinion from a dentist in Richmond Hill, near my home, and was informed that I only have one very small cavity and he would not recommend doing anything with it right now because it is extremely small, it is something we should watch and check again in 6 months. This dentist informed me that the other two area's Dr. Miller said were cavities were actually just darker spots in the groves of my teeth and absolutely were NOT cavities. read more

Dr Miller advised me to get a "cavity" filled even tho it did not show on the X-ray. After this happened again I fired him. My current dentist said it was a small stain or gray spot -- not a cavity -- and did not need treatment. I don't recommend him. I felt like he was scamming me. read more

I went to this dentist based on the previous review which sounded great. The office is very high tech and the staff is friendly, however the experience was horrible. He told me that I had 3 cavities in my front teeth. He pointed out several brown spots and explained that that was decay. He also recommended against fillings as they yellow at a different rate than your natural teeth and would need to be replaced often. Instead he recommended veneers and since I was getting 3 said I should go ahead and get 6 to improve my smile. I turned down the veneers and set an appointment to get the cavities filled. When I found out that they don't offer nitrous oxide (I'm terrified of needles), I opted to go to a different dentist. The 2nd dentist was shocked. Not only did I not have ANY cavities but he actually polished away the brown spots which were simply surface stains. Dr. Miller lied to me to try to sell me veneers and was willing to drill through my healthy teeth for a profit . NEVER go to this dentist. read more

I originally began going to this practice when I bought a Groupon deal for a checkup (cleaning, xrays, etc included). I hadn't been to a dentist in years due to not having insurance. However, we'd gotten to a place financially where we could absorb out of pocket costs if needed. I knew I had issues going on with my teeth--old fillings had fallen out of multiple teeth and I had deep holes in each of them. Their business looks like a spa, extremely clean, all the staff is very welcoming, I was treated respectfully, given multiple options to the issues found, was shown all my pictures and xrays (they take actual upclose photographs in addition to the xrays) while they explained and I was never ever pressured into anything. Knowing I didn't have ins, they have a "Save a Smile" program specific to their office. Pay less than $300 a year---includes any xrays, two checkups and cleanings, and bet 10-20 percent off any inhouse service. This option paid for itself the first visit. I needed three serious buildups/fillings and crowns due to the extensive damage (which, as I said, I'd known about beforehand). I LOVE this dental office and I've never been a fan of going (who is?). Scheduling has never been an issue, they are always there to answer ANY questions or address any concerns I have, Dr. Miller (and the rest of the staff) are very professional and honestly..I wish I'd found their office sooner! I have my last visit (for my 3rd crown to be put in) in two weeks. After that, it's just routine cleanings/checkups. I would recommend them to everyone. Two thumbs up. read more
