Once Brennan-Mathena was notified, they took over everything from there, so we didn't have to worry over anything. She was a WWII veteran, so all I had to do was fax them her separation papers, and they arranged with the American Legion to have her buried with full military honors, as she had so wanted. We couldn't have been treated better, and I highly recommend Brennan-Mathena.

They also operate as Dobbs memorials apparently since that's the email the owner emailed from. I am deeply disappointed by this company's lack of care and communication during a highly sensitive process. I provided detailed photos of my family's other headstones and explicitly requested the new stone match them as closely as possible. Despite this, the installed stone was smaller than what I wanted and expected. When I compared my proof to those of my family members, I noticed that the dimensions were missing on mine but were clearly present on theirs. When I asked about this discrepancy, I was told that the proof is only for design, not dimensions. If that's the case, why were dimensions included on their proofs but not mine? Isn't it odd that this critical information was absent from my proof, and I ended up with a smaller stone? When I tried to address these issues, the company ignored my repeated calls and emails over several weeks. While they were quick to send me a bill for additional graphic work, they showed no willingness to engage in a discussion about resolving the problems with the stone itself. This experience has left me feeling that this company does not understand or respect the emotional significance these stones hold for families. I would strongly recommend seeking another provider who values their customers and demonstrates care in their work.
