This is now the third nonfunctional appliance they have delivered to me. Obviously my time and money means nothing to them. They barely offered an apology. They will bounce you back and forth with the delivery company to avoid dealing with the bad service. It just gets worse every time. God forbid if you actually try to use a warranty. I'm in a rural area and have limited options for buying these things.

I've used them before and would prefer gas but hey, ceramic is easy to clean. the lower right burner is the largest one and the " go to" burner. but I kept destroying food , pots and pans. I figured out finally that burner was broken for some reason. I called Lowe's, which sod it to me and the only help I got was the name of a repairman. thanks for not ugh ! for 250.00 he came diagnosed it and then I wasc charged 278 .00 for a gizmo ( thermostat ). to fix it. Maytag is no longer reliable having been bought/ sold many times. but Lowe's was what shocked me. I I won't be there again fot any major purchase.

There is also a sewage issue at the front of the store that almost makes me sick every time. I don't know what it is, but checking out is the hardest. Their flooring has been a great price every time I've looked at it. They also have toys and things that are hard to find at chain places. The book selection is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is usually friendly and helpful if you need anything.

My boyfriend and I went to look around and buy a few things, he's never been to an Ollie's before…read moreand I gotta say it was probably not the best first impression. Everything was fine, though everything was extremely messy and cluttered. We were followed by an employee after we looped around the store to look at everything. It was quite persistent and discomforting to be followed (not so discreetly) by an employee, we had looped back towards the floor panels and rugs of the store as we're renovating a room in our home and wanted to see prices. This employee was on our behinds (to put it nicely) so we moved out of the way assuming he had to get to the backroom where there was a staff area. He had stood beside us for 2-3 minutes just watching us and then pretending to go through the floor panels. I understand staff must have precaution for customers stealing or causing issues as I've worked in retail for some years, but to be persistently behind customers and invading their space while they're just trying to shop and look around without any cause? Unacceptable. We will not be shopping at this Ollie's again. I will also be averting my friends and family from shopping here as well.
