I finally reached someone at 8:20 and she was quite cold, unfriendly and not at all helpful. I am done with Mercy, even though I live less than a mile from this clinic. No wonder Mercy continues to have issues. Go to the Iowa Clinic!

I'm so frustrated with this care team. I don't know if the people just don't care, or they are…read moreoverworked, or if this is an issue with the myunitypoint, but I have tried and tried to get this office to send my prescriptions to the appropriate address and they just don't do it. I have tried calling the office, I have tried using the portal, I brought it up to my doctor in person, I brought it up to the office staff when I was there in person, and I have consistently been very polite in addressing it. Finally I sent a frustrated message through the portal, but the care team never read it or replied. Because of this I have ended up having to go without my medications repeatedly, I have had to spend endless amounts of time on the phone with the office and waiting on hold, and explaining the situation to pharmacists. The only conclusion I can draw at this point is they don't care. For any clarification that may be needed I have been traveling for work for 17 months, but have repeatedly been back to Iowa and attended any necessary visits. I have explained the situation of my travel to the care team probably 2 dozen times at this point, but still about 85% of the time the office sends my Rx to the wrong place. It is so frustrating.
