They've got the answer, and are happy to brainstorm with you if they don't. Particular standouts are Scott and, especially, Matthew, the manager, who go above and beyond to make whatever it is you need happen. I have gone to Miller Paint for several years because I can always depend on the for their expertise and the product quality. My entire house, both inside and out, has been done with Miller Paint. It has lasted for years and still looks great! When they see me coming, they greet me at the door and pull up a chair for me, because I have an obvious need. This MIller Paint store has the best customer service ever! I popped in yesterday to get a couple quarts of paint for touch up work. Of course I could not remember anything beyond 'its a dark gray and has the word 'zen' in it. Scott was able to find it in about 3 seconds. Of course then he needed to know was it oil or water based, glossy or no, etc etc. I was like 'uhhhhh?' He looked me up in the computer and was able to find the sale from two years ago! awesome. The store was pretty busy but it was also well staffed and no one waited long at all. They are friendly and clearly knowledgable. I saw on Scott's name tag that he has been there since 2005. Nice tenure; to me that means he cares about the place. I also really like the devine paints. I painted my bathroom a lovely blue from their devine line. Just don't ask me the name.... Crazy friendly staff with tons of knowledge about anything you might be doing with paint and more. Decent prices, come on paints expensive no matter the brand, and a fair selection of offerings on project materials like tape, tools, etc. Painted the exterior of my house with their top of the line paint and it took two coats for the dark color and three for the white, no issues going on pretty evenly, and did little prep work before starting to paint so its an easy to work with paint. Redid my bathroom in the semi gloss indoor paint and it worked easy but needed three coats for the darker painted ceiling. I have come here many times and will come here many times more. read more

I still can't say enough about how awesome the customer service is at this store. Over a year has past and I moved to a different home but wanted to paint my walls the same color as my old place but I couldn't remember the colors name or the sheen. Enter Jake...that bright and helpful young man took time to search back through his data base and finally find EXACTLY the information I needed. All of the employees here do a great job of greeting you the moment you come in the door and offer help and advice with any project you bring their way. Unlike places like Home Depot they ask a lot of questions which may seem like they're being nosy but they want to know your project inside and out so they know they are selling you the right product for the job. The store is always clean and I love their color center with the faux wood floor and big spacious table to spread out my inspiration and ideas on. They also have a computer that you can input a color you like and it will recommend a trim or accent color that matches/compliments it. As far as prices go, if you're comparing apples to apples with other retailers like Home Depot or Sherwin Williams, Miller Paint's prices have come down in the past year and their gallons are selling for a couple dollars cheaper than the competition's. I always recommend this place to everyone, especially if they need guidance because their employees can always steer you in the right direction! read more

Unfortunately I'm only giving this store 1 star due to poor customer service and problem solving on the part of a female employee who would not work with me at all. I went into the store and had amazing customer service with Scott who helped us through 2 hours of picking out paint and placing the preliminary order. However, we were told that we could call in to place the order and let them know when we would pick up the paint. A day later, after sleeping on the color choices and seeing them in different lights, I realized that our white choice actually looked butter yellow in our house light and when I called to change the color to a pure white, she told me all of the colors had already been mixed and that she, "didn't want to throw out the paint." While I completely understand that, we never told her to mix our paints and when I asked her what my options were at that point, she was completely silent on the phone and had no other option for me but to use the paint color I did not want. We paid over $1200 for paint at this store, you would think that they'd be more willing to work with me on this. read more
