He did a meticulous job prepping the house (which had quite a bit of siding damage and needed a lot of re-caulking) and was equally meticulous with the actual painting. We felt like he took the care to paint our home like he was painting his own. Another thing we appreciated was that he was a responsive and excellent communicator. He gave us a daily update on progress and what his goal was for the next day. He also never left the job site without telling us that he was leaving. On 6/1/23 we hired Wade One Painting to repaint our large backyard wood deck and attached wood…read morebench. The job required power washing, sanding and two coats of deck paint. Mr. Charles Wade, together with his assistant, arrived every work day on time, immediately set up, and began the job, including taking care to protect landscaping and assure no paint spatter where the deck abuts the house. After job completion, they returned one week later to check results and correct a few "bubbles." (The deck is at least 15 years old, and a few bubbles were expected.) The company provides a one-year warranty and offers a veteran's discount. It is licensed, bonded and insured, and our job was performed in complete compliance with the reasonable bid. We are very pleased with the result of the work and the professional work ethics of the owner and assistant. We highly recommend Wade One Painting for any painting job one might require.

First the good - The main painter on the job (Lucio) was a conscientious and hard worker. He…read moreclearly cared about his work and did a good job. (Thank you Lucio). The main problem - Our house has cedar shingles. The rear of the house is painted, the front is stained - and we wanted to keep the staining at the front. We pointed out to their estimator that some of the stained shingles has caulking marks on them - he told us the stain would cover the marks. He was wrong, but we didn't find that out until they'd finished painting the rear of the house. The team did their best to cover the caulking marks with touch up marker - they look ok from the street, but are very obvious close-up. Had the estimator told us that the stain wouldn't cover these marks, we would have had the whole house painted a single color - but in a different color than we chose for just the rear. There were also some smaller problems - - The quote stated that a porta-potty would be provided - it wasn't. Presumably the quoted price included this. - The quote stated that plants would be covered to protect from spraying - the rhododendron bushes in front of my house now have paint-spattered leaves, and look like they might not survive. - Some of the painters who helped out for just small part of the job weren't very careful - two of my path lights were broken (which they tried to hide by balancing the broken lights on their stands), and someone ripped most of the branches off one rhododendron bush instead of tying them back. - A petrol stain was left on our front path where they refueled their pressure washer. I pointed out these issues to the project manager. I'm very disappointed that no-one from the iTech office has contacted me to apologize, and I can only assume that they don't really care. Therefore I would not recommend them.

So this review isn't about the finish product, it's more about the estimate experience! During the estimate process, Robert has been excellent from the initial estimate to following up with emails. We had a few companies either didn't bother to follow up with emails/texts, or simply disappear after the initial estimates. Robert was always available for questions and I really appreciate that! Overall, I'd recommend Arrowhead if you are looking for estimate or paint project because of their reliability and responsiveness!

Overall, happy but things could have gone smoother…read more Once they got to our job, a month and 1/2 later than we were quoted we were happy with the quality of the work but left feeling like we were over promised and under delivered. We didn't go with the cheapest quote or even the fastest turnaround, but we waited a long time and had to reschedule several things for our house because of the time delay. Including gutters being installed and getting the house photographed to sell. A lot of time was spent on our part contacting other contractors and our real estate agent because of the delay. The sales experience was good and smooth via a Zoom call due to covid. The paint consulting was also pleasant and professional. Overall we are happy and enjoyed working with Robert, but we definitely felt like we were being moved back further and further due to other jobs taking priority over ours. I would hire them again, but would be sure to have an accurate representation of when the job would actually be completed in writing.

When weather permitted the painting to start, they started and finished everything within four days. He was very professional and detail oriented. They removed or protected all of the little fixtures around the house--things we hadn't even thought about. Teo patched up some places where the wood siding was peeling, using a special primer to help the wood hold together better. Truly full service. He was also very flexible and accommodating with our needs. Here's one example: there was one part of the trim that we weren't sure if we should paint it the trim color or the house color. We were feeling indecisive but Teo was patient as we thought it through, and he even sent us photos of the progress while we were at work so we could better visualize it and make a more informed decision. He also shared his opinion when we asked for it, which helped us feel more confident in our choices (it's a big deal to redo the whole look of your house!). I'm so glad we accepted his recommendations--they ended up looking great! On top of the excellent painting job, Teo really went above and beyond our expectations. For example, the wood trim at the base of our garage door had rotted away over the years. He pointed this out and explained that prior to painting it, he would cut out the crumbling parts and replace the bottom sections with fresh pieces of wood. The results were beautiful! And on top of that, he voluntarily fixed two separate pre-existing issues with our front door so that it would close and latch better.
