I sat at the bar with a 88 year old parent. Bartender was ok at first, then I asked to change TV to the rays game. She said of 20 minutes go by and still nothing so I asked again, then 10 minutes more I asked another server, then 10 more minutes go by and I asked the bar tender if they lost the remote? And I did it nicely. Then the manager came up and said the bartender was crying and felt I was rude for asking! Manager took the blame but this pms bartender leaves alot to be desired with dealing with people. I've been to about 30 millers but this one took the cake!!!! Went to this location last Sunday with friends after soccer championship, ambiance was really good, clean and in good shape, host could do better she was kinda rude giving a bad experience right entrance while asking how many we were going to sit down. Beside that the rest of the night was nice, server was really attentive and helpful, we got 4 pitchers and some appetizers to spend the night, food was really fresh and flavory, same with the drinks! I've been to Millers many times before and for what its worth i typically enjoy my food and my experience. We started off with some mozzarella sticks and they were good but not the best I've had. The issue I really had was that I was missing the sauce for my chicken for too long, I was more than half way done with my food before receiving it. Reminded the waitress about 3 times but she kept forgetting because they had her doing way too much, she was working the to go orders in addition to taking care of our tables. I do always love the vibes and being able to watch the sports game all over the tvs. I would return for some good vibes and a beer to watch some games, but not my first choice on a night out. read more

Yesterday we tried the new Miller's location in Davenport. We walked in and were both greeted and seated quickly. Off to a great start! Our server was Manny, and he was extremely thorough. We ordered drinks from the bar and he made sure to check both of our id's. With 2 picky eaters, new places can be difficult. However last night both our kids found something they liked to eat. The food came out hot, and was super flavorful. A much better experience overall than our last go at Miller's in Champions Gate. The dining room is on the small side, and appeared to be missing a few tables, but the servers and managers were all running food and helping each other. The key to getting sat quickly is to be there by 5. If you show up much later, expect to have a wait. The only hiccup was that our salads came out with onions after requesting no onions. This was not the fault of our server, who apologized and was more than willing to fix it. We told him we were alright and could work around them. We will be back. read more

My family of 4 came in on a Saturday night, at around 7pm to try it out as they just opened about a week ago. We had to wait for about an hour to sit down. Once we sat down, we were greeted immediately by one of the trainee servers. Shortly after, our official server Savannah came to greet us and take our order. She was very good and friendly throughout our entire time there. The food was surprisingly good! Size, and taste wise. We ordered the 24 breaded wings, loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, Cobb salad, and the jack Daniel's dessert everything was on point. I was able to attend a soft opening as a party of 4. It was very open looking but a lot smaller than other locations. We were greeted and seated immediately even though we arrived a little early. We sampled the spinach artichoke dip that was really good but the chips were far too salty especially since the dip itself was pretty salty. Two kids meals that were served along with the appetizer which was perfect. My friend and I ordered the Snow Crab that came with two sides (lots of options). I went with Caesar salad and veggies both were perfect. Servers were circulating and all hands were on deck. The only thing I would say was an issue is the beer I ordered ended up having black flakes in it, unfortunately I didn't notice until after I drank half of it. They immediately went to get another but that also had black flakes apparently there was a problem with the line. Kind of put a damper on the experience because what did I drink? I came here with my mom and dad on a Sunday evening, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our server, Mati was fantastic--one of the best servers we've ever had. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly thorough in making sure we were happy with everything. I was having a hard time deciding on a side dish, and she was so helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice. I ordered the 12oz Prime Rib special with a loaded baked potato, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful, and the baked potato was the perfect complement. I also treated myself to a dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives, and whoever the bartender was that night deserves a shoutout--they absolutely nailed it! To top it all off, the manager stopped by our table to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal. Gluten Free people take note: while Miller's no longer has a dedicated gluten free menu, mention you're gluten free to your server. if you have Sammie, or if Dustin the Asst General Manager are working you will have a delicious experience and no worries about cross contamination. The grilled zingers were excellent, served on the side since the fries are cross contaminated (although Friday early you may be ok) Dustin asked the kitchen to sauté (for lack of a better word) their corn tortilla chips since they usually heat them up in the fryer. It's pretty bad when you have to ding a restaurant for soup! They wouldn't change out the chowder and replace it with potato soup until they scrap out the last of the scorched chowder. To add insult to injury they don't have any type of crackers to offer, and ended up bringing croutons. read more

As soon as we walked up the hostess( I wish I caught her name) was AMAZING! Opened doors, got us a highchair without us having to ask, etc. THEN cheska came over and she was AMAZING. Between her awesome personality and the food recommendations I couldn't have asked for more. Tonight was just their 2nd test night of 3 before they go full service Monday. Service was as to be expected while training but still much better than you would expect. The kitchen was slow but the servers and management managed the guests quite well. Food still tasted fantastic as always at a Millers Ale house. The appetizers were actually the only thing that was slow. Meals came out fine. The noise wasn't too loud for a sports bar environment.
