I spent $555.00 for a major tune-up. I had ' tire pressure low' light on my dashboard and 'maintenance due soon' alerts. I get called while they're working in the car to ask if I want an oil change as well, it would cost an additional $75.00 plus. I refused as I asked 5 people in my office and consulted Kelly Blue Book website, all of who said oil change should be part of a major tune-up. I got the car, they did not check the tire pressure and left that light on. They did not fill windshield wiper fluid. They basically changed spark plugs, air and cabin filters, PCV valve, and that was it. ALSO note they advised me to change the spark plugs and their advice was unnecessary and self-serving. I did not request that service, I went in and requested a tune-up. Now, I still need to finish getting the car serviced but at a different garage as I will not return to Millers Corners Garage. 4/8/2023 Update: Went to Lia Honda who charged me $155.00 including tax for 5000 mile maintenance and to change oil and rotate tires, change fluids, etc... They said they were "very sorry" when I showed them the invoice from Millers Corners Garage. They said that you only change spark plugs and do a valve adjust after 100k miles. My car has under 18,500 miles. Millers Corners tole me I needed to change the spark plugs and do a valve adjust. That was untrue. Three techs of Lia Honda looked at the Millers Corners invoice and shook their heads, saying sorry to me. They all said it looks like I was cheated. read more

Honest, knowledgeable, skilled, personable, and communicative. I used to take my car to the dealer but no more! The dealer told me I needed to replace a caliper and (basically brand new) brake. I took my car here for a second opinion where they explained why the caliper might be leaking, how it might be affecting the brake, and under what circumstances the brake would have to be replaced. They updated me every step of the way and were able to replace the caliper and avoiding replacing my nearly new brake. I really appreciated that they took the time to check in with me when they looked at the car, when the part came in, and when the work was completed. I don't know much, if anything, about cars but I really appreciated it when they explained everything in great detail so I can better understand what's happening with my own car. Also, it's a little thing, but every time I've interacted with anyone at this garage, they called me by my name and even remembered my partner's name when he went to pick up my car for me. I'm definitely coming here for all my car service from now on. read more

What a great bunch of mechanics here. You know how it is.... move to a new city, don't know where to get your car fixed. Then you see this very worn looking, well-used place that just fixes cars. And lots of cars waiting to be fixed. Not trying to sell you a car. I got a reasonable estimate. I got understandable explanations of what my car was not doing well, why it wasn't doing well, what it needed, what it would cost, and how long it would take. And then it was done. Sitting here this very moment at the garage. I came here because I smelled that burning brake smell on my Jeep. These guys were so great and helpful a few weeks ago with a transmission pan issue I was having that I decided to see if they could possibly fit my Jeep into their very busy schedule today. They did, because they're awesome. Located the issue, had a part delivered super quickly, and fixed it for me in about an hour. Everyone here is very nice, professional, and patient. I never feel like I'm being take advantage of or talked down to. I can't say enough good things about this place, and I recommend them To everyone I know. read more

i can't believe that i haven't written about these guys yet. the 2 brothers are very friendly and knowledgeable. they are the perfect 'right around the corner' local mechanics. (once i had to push my car and then roll it to their garage...we don't like to talk about those days tho as that was my jag and she has now gone to the car garage in heaven) their prices are very reasonable and they are always willing to work with you. they have never fleeced me or suggested that work that didn't need to get done be done. and they have saved a number of our butts last minute. as a matter of fact, i am taking my bug there tomorrow so that they can fix it up for my daughter and i am off to get my new car. read more

I can confirm what the other reviewers say about Chuck and Mike. I lived around the corner from their shop for three years and over that period they must have dealt with the aged crate I was driving about ten times. They were always quick, flexible, friendly and never overcharged or tried to push anything unnecessary on me. Definitely recommended--they'll treat you right. read more

They go out of their way to make things easy on you, including negotiating with tightfisted warranty companies and juggling their schedules to accommodate you in emergencies. I went to Miller's Corner Garage to get an oil change, and I was impressed by the level of service they offered. First, they responded to my Yelp messages extremely quickly. Second, the not only changed the oil in my car, but also inspected it's bottom to see if there was anything else that may need fixing. They also inflated my tires. Third, they gave me a calendar with my oil change. Because of this high quality service, I recommend going to Miller's Corner Garage if you are in the Albany area and your car is in need of anything from a simple oil change to a major repair. read more

Mike and Chuck are amazing. My boyfriend recommended this place to me when the used car I had bought 6 months prior started to deteriorate. I had it towed over to them, Mike immediately called me to come down there and told me in detail everything he saw that was wrong. I had some decisions to make, so he held my car for almost three weeks before I was able to give him the go ahead. After that it took them less than a week to fix it, which I guess they considered a long time because Mike apologized and didn't charge me for the three weeks I had left it there. He also stayed within the original estimate, didn't fiddle around with other things to try and trick me into spending more money. They are honest, hardworking, and do everything in their power to help you no matter what the situation (for example when my boyfriend first went to them he had a lot of financial problems and they were extremely accommodating).
