I came to this shop yesterday a little frustrated. I did't realize that when I got new plates at the motor vehicle they don't have new screws to put the plates on, as I threw out the old ones. So here I am driving down State St, one plate in the rear view window and one on the dashboard. I pulled into Pro Automotive and what a relief. Rick not only found screws for the plates he put them on and even put the registration sticker on for me. The big plus was he would not charge me. Purchased my truck and wouldn't you know it the first week I have I got a very large screw inside my tire making it go flat. My folks have been coming here for years and always hay sworn by the service and told me if I ever needed something done to come here because they are honest and trustworthy two things you do not see a lot of in this industry. Well I have taken there advice and I will tell you they were not wrong the service was amazing and very friendly. The shop itself is only this little building but somehow they can do so much out of it. I am very impressed at the whole experience that I had here. The wait was even quick he did not pull me into a bay but completed everything right out in the parking lot and had me on my way in less then 15 min. The reason why it lost one star with me is because the parking lot is small and it was hard to move with the truck in there but the service well made up for that. Honesty is the best policy ... and I'll definitely be going back. Rich was recommended to me by a neighbor. I took in my car with a laundry list of items that were indicated as issues by one of those bigger shops. Rich called me back and informed that everything was inspected and the only charge would be $30 for changing some fluids. I brought my car there with what felt like a transmission problem, they did a full tune up for 200 and said that should take care of it. Went back a few weeks later with the same problem it wasn't fixed, they tell me my tranny is shot and I'm better off getting another car. Not thrilled that I spent 200 dollars a month earlier for a full tune up on a car with a shot tranny, not sure why it wasn't diagnosed correctly the first time. this guy is no joke, he is Awesome. small shop but let me tell ya, my truck has had so many problems i have 4 errors and hes like well your only Big issue is none of these codes and you dont have to get these fixed to make your truck shift better seems like its just your fuel filter so let me open it up and ill check it out. so if it was ANY other place then here they would have said Omg This, This This oh and This is broke you need to get this All fixed so i thought i was looking at a 1,000 dollar fix Atleast! yet it was only a fuel filter, guy is Awesome no joke hands down im going here everytime read more
