I don't get all these reviews for mpix.com. Yes, they are affiliated with Millers, and I have never used them. I go direct to Millers. They are always available by phone. They have corrected orders when there had just been a communication error. They overnight prints and the colors are awesome. I have gone to numerous other professional printers, and none have near the quality of Millers. I suggest these people that do not like Mpix actually review mpix. Millers is definitely not the cheapest, and rarely have sales, but I go to them anyway. Others will charge $15 for 2 day air. So that adds up in cost. Or don't use Millers. Better for me. read more

I'm reviewing Mpix.com, which is owned by Miller's Professional Imaging. I had heard such excellent reviews for Mpix.com. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of their prints since I never received mine. Dealing with customer service has proved futile. Despite the fact that my photos have clearly gotten lost in the mail, they will charge me to reprint them and send them because they can't confirm that the package was lost (they want me to go to the local post office and try to have them figure it out -- never mind that I have a job and can't take time to go to my home post office). The tone of their customer service is condescending and unhelpful. My first order will definitely be my last order. I live in NYC -- I really don't need them to get great prints, I did it purely for convenience. Never again. read more

I've used Mpix before with decent to good results. Not this time and never again. I sent them two files to print. 9 days later I received the order. However, the order I received was NOT mine - they were someone else prints. A lovely bird and a landscape - in vivid color. My prints were black and white desert photos. I emailed (there is no way to call mpix) and told them of the error. They apologized and then sent me my prints which arrived 4 days later. However the prints were terrible. They were completely blown out/over exposed with no contrast and not at all like the files I sent them which had been processed in Adobe Lightroom. Once again I emailed mpix and this time I told them of the poor quality. Mpix offered to reprint the images, or refund my money once they received the prints back. I opted for the refund. They emailed me a UPS shipping label. I shipped them back the prints over 12 days ago - and still no refund yet. I emailed them asking about my refund and I received an email back stating. "A refund has been issued. Please allow 3 to 7 business days for the refund process to complete". This was a poor experience and continues to be. read more

Absolute shit customer service. Asked them for photo printing guidance. They refused unless I created an account.

I began shooting 4x5 C41 about 6 months ago. I had been wanting to shoot 4x5 for a long time, but was always hesitant to invest in the process as the film and developing are fairly expensive. Miller's currently processes 4x5 C41 for just $1.52/sheet and the provide free overnight FedEx shipping (both to and from). Their extremely reasonable prices and free shipping have allowed me to shoot more sheets per month than I would if I got my film developed elsewhere. Their turnaround time is extremely fast (sometimes they develop and return on the same day that the film is received) and their work is quality. I highly recommend Miller's for film processing! read more

I ordered my wedding photos from mpix and I am very disappointed in their service. Not only were several of my photos cut off but one particular photo that was a little revealing of my wife getting ready was missing from our photos when we got them. I contacted customer service, via email because they didn't have a phone number listed, and the customer service agent, Tom, was extremely condescending and absolutely refused to take responsibility. He kept insisting that the particular photo was never ordered. When I logged back onto the website, sure enough the photo was on there. I wouldn't have uploaded it to the site if I weren't planning to order it. I also clicked "select all" when ordering so I know it was definitely ordered. I went back in forth with Tom several times but he never offered to fix the problem. I will never use this company again. read more

I was excited about Miller's products but I can't be excited about them anymore now that their customer service is rude and offensive. I called to check on a shipment. The lady, believe her name was Cheryl, sounded like she would rather die than speak to me on the phone. It was like pulling teeth to even get her to answer my questions with a yes or no. I then tried to get them to send me their template uploads. First of all, it is ridiculous that you have to email them for these. They are free. The other pro labs have these on their websites for you to download. Second of all, the woman argued with me that she wouldn't email them to me and that they "would do me no good" because I don't have an expensive calorimeter. I calibrate my own monitor and use the sRGB print in adobe lightroom. After I receive this last order from them, I will be closing my account. I highly recommend white house custom colour (WHCC). Not only were their prints better (quality) but their customer service was ASTOUNDING! They were quick to reply and whoever responded was quick and very nice/helpful. Do yourself a favor.. if you want a company that you can tell enjoys their work and enjoys helping their customers, do not use Miller's. read more

There customer service is horrible! What could have been a rectified was made even worse. I ordered 4 mounted prints in between that time from them and within that time span my whole purse was stolen. So I had to update every account I had with new payment information. I filed a police report the whole nine, for about 2 weeks my life was put on hold as I literally had nothing. I offered them the police report so that they could know my situation. Social Security Card, License, financial means just all gone. Lessoned learned I will never carry everything on me like that. Anyways back to them, they closed my whole account down for $30 even after I updated my card information. I used them for over 2 years and they have never had a accounting problem with me. They sent me the prints without payment, which was stupid to me as they hadn't received payment. Of course we were out of town with family for the holidays so I didn't receive it so it was sent back. I didn't even know that it was coming. Fast forward to trying to rectify my account, not only do I not have any product I needed to pay for it and thats okay, but I need to pay for shipping there and back to be sent to me and then if i want the product I need to pay for shipping again for it to be sent to me. I'm still trying to figure out why you would send product without payment especially if you hadn't even spoken to me to figure out what was going on. I understand they are a business and businesses need to make money. However, they are completely unprofessional and I will be taking my album sales to Nphoto from now on. read more

I have used their mpix.com site for a number of years. Generally the product is good except one aspect of the products, the envelopes for cards are absolute c**p. Bad adhesive and this time in the wrong size. I tried to contact their customer service and spoke with someone a Miller's who refused to deal with the problem, refused to give me a number to someone at mpix.com who could deal with the problem and refused to be responsible in general. The customer service experience is horrible. I will find someplace else. read more

*This is also a review for mpix.com. I did a search for the best place to order prints online. I found this place in an article and decided to give it a shot. Their website was easy to use. They tell you what the "max size" you can order of what you've uploaded and I believe that's based on the size of the picture you've uploaded. They don't even give you the option to order a size bigger than what the max size is they've designated. At first I was kind of mad about this b/c I lost my dog recently and I wanted to order prints of her. My favorite one of her was only available in wallet size. However, now that I've received them, they are good quality and the size of that picture doesn't matter as much anymore. One thing I was initially disappointed in was I could find a option for ordering matte finish photos. I hate glossy photos and I really wanted matte. The only option that suggested you could order matte were also black and white and I didn't want all my prints in black and white. I ordered them anyway. I ordered them on monday and I received them that wednesday around noon. I was shocked at how quick the turn around was considering the website said it would be 5-7 days. And the quality is great! There are very few that don't look perfect and that's the quality of the picture, not the printer's fault. And to top it all off, they are not glossy photos...they are all matte finish!!! Perfection. I will absolutely be using this site again. read more
