I first went to Miller's more than 25 years ago and was immediately impressed with the honesty and professionalism of the owner, Dean. I was expecting a big suspension repair bill, but instead, Dean told me it was just one of the tires being out of balance. He fixed it quickly and inexpensively, and that kind of integrity earned them my loyalty from that day forward. Fast forward to today--Dean is now retired, but I recently brought my truck in with a loud whooshing sound coming from the rear end (sure enough, worn-out wheel bearings). I'm happy to say that the folks at Miller's are every bit as trustworthy and professional as Dean was back in the day. I needed a brake and light inspection so I decided to go to Millers test and repairs . The guy who attended me was really rude . Basically didn't want to park inside the premises even tho I was getting his service of brake and light. He was too busy to even answer a question I had for him regarding the brake and light. He seemed too overwhelmed with smog checks car he had lined up. He told me to park in the street and he would call me when I would be next . I brought my 2014 Lr4 to get a brake job done and after I paid for a brake inspection found out that I didn't need brakes. The dealer tried to get me to replace brakes for a squeal I had. After speaking with Danny he showed me it was not Brakes I needed but a faulty clip that my last repair shop failed at installing properly. He did the repair and only charged me for the labor. It's so hard to find an honest shop these days and he could have clearly sold me brakes and I wouldn't have known the difference. I will bring all my cars from now on. This place totally saved the day! I had a work meeting in Long Beach and I normally live in the valley. My tire blew out on the freeway and this shop was close by. I called and they not only were able to take me, they were able to get me a new tire in less than an hour!!! My car has very particular tires and in the past I've always had to wait a day or two in other shops. This place did an awesome job, super quick and I even had a great convo with the staff. Bro how are you going to quote me on something, that the part doesn't exist, and instead of paying you to just inspect the car($45), your saying I owe you $200. I authorized the repair because you said you can fix it. And I had my brothers car there too. I said listen I'm good I can't wait 6 months for my car to get fixed, he said oh ok and I quote " come pick up both your POS" and then threatened to not give me my keys if I didn't pay the $200. Back in the day I would fight people, it's just not even worth it. Don't even waste your time. If you have extra money to blow, or your into getting disrespected, this is your spot. I have had work done there for years. New ownership. I called to see if they could look my van over and find out what is wrong with my cooling sys. "It will be $95.00 plus cost of repairs" The $95.00 dollars counts towards the repairs - correct? NO was the answer. Since the repairs ended up being 205.00 at another shop - it would have been 300.00 at Millers. NO is my answer. read more

When my father took the car back for a so called alignment they had done, the "owner" has the audacity to get offended and throws the keys at him. Very honest and courteous. My brakes had been feeling soft, and making a bit of noise so I figured it was about time for new pads. Found Miller's on Yelp, they were right down the street and had good reviews so why not. They were pretty busy when I dropped my car off, Bill said they wouldn't be able to get to it tIl the afternoon which was fine. Bill called me around 2:00 to tell me my brakes were still fine and that I didn't need anything done. Instead of just selling me a brake job I didn't need, they were totally honest and I appreciate that. Will absolutely go back when I DO need brakes, and will recommend others do the same. read more

I came in for an alignment on my 2016 mustang 5.0 and was told to wait for someone to assist me. As im in the office waiting i hear my alarm go off and find the lady from the office opening my car without my permission. I had my personal belongings in there and for her to open my car without me knowing was very unprofessional. They then tell me it's $120 to align my car and if they couldn't do it it was going to be $40 for them inspecting. After almost an hour of the mechanic just flashing his light at the bottom of my car he then takes my car for a test drive and i hear him floor my car 2 blocks away from the shop and do a quick U Turn to return to the shop. He then tells me he wasn't able to fix my alignment unless i bought some unnecessary parts that were over $650 per side. I talked to the boss and he told me the same thing and tries to charge me $120 for the alignment even though they never fixed it i took it for a drive and now it rubs when i drive straight all the time. I then told the boss man that i can't pay $120 if he couldn't complete the alignment and he tells his employee "put his car back on the lift and FxCK up the alignment the way it was when he got here" i paid the inspection fee respectfully which was $40 but i do not recommend anyone coming here i got home and my suspension was loose. i had to take it to another shop to get my alignment done right and the shop told me i didn't need to buy any parts extra to keep my car from rubbing every time i turned. I knew something was wrong when i first came because there was 2 other people complaining about their cars when i came but i needed the alignment done so i gave it a shot and got burned DONT LET THESE PEOPLE EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR CARS AND JOY RIDE THEM! read more

I've been here maybe three times since my friend first recommended it to me in 2003. If it weren't for my friend, I would've never given this place a chance, which would have been a real shame. The people at Miller's are knowledgeable about what they do. They've been doing this kind of work for years, probably longer than I've been alive, and they've accumulated a wealth of wisdom. They won't charge you for any work that doesn't need to be done, heck, it's not unusual that they'll even spend 30 minutes on your car just to find out that your alignment is within specs, then let you off the hook for free. Unlike other shops/dealerships, they won't try to up-sell you on additional items, unless you really need it. The chains/dealerships often suggest "required" maintenance on your air filter, cabin air filter, brake pads, rotors, coolant, brake fluid, transmission flush, oil change/filter, etc. Sounds familiar doesn't it? Sadly, you could only call their bluff if you were knowledgeable in maintenance yourself. These people are honest, which is undeniably rare in the auto shop business. They're not out to bleed you dry or take advantage of unknowing customers. For the work they do perform on your car, Miller's Alignment's prices are very fair. No extravagant rip-offs, just a good old-fashioned, honest business. read more

I went last week because I woke up to a flat tire. I got to the place and one of the guys put on my spare at no charge. He also let me know that all my tires were pretty worn and advised me to get new tires. I brought the tires, and brought them to the shop to have put on. I was there as soon as they opened and was met with warmth and quickly taken care of. Also, you can't . beat the prices. They have become my new mechanics for wheels. The guy doing my alignment was extremely rude, he moved my car into the bay fast and not safe at all. He almost ran over his co worker. That guy needs to go. I saw him drive another customers car very aggressive inside the shop. He does not care for the customers vehicle. I asked another employee what his problem was and he said, ohh there is no problem. Came here today after finding on Yelp. Needed some minor suspension work done and an alignment. I brought my own parts and asked to have them installed. No problem, 90 minutes later and I was done. The alignment adjustment needed was only minor, so I was only charged $25 bucks and the other work I wanted was $100. What a deal. And my truck looks and runs just the way I want it. There are so few honest mechanics that don't try to rip you off. This is definitely one of the good ones. Shop itself is no frills. Bring your own entertainment or have someone come pick you up and take you to breakfast! read more

So far so good, I plan on updating my review once the work is complete but so far the owner of this place Dean has been BEYOND helpful, not only did he take the time (most mechanics I went to wouldn't even look at my truck unless I paid them $50+, which is ridiculous seeming I know what the issue is), but he knew exactly what I needed and did not try to add on any bs like most other mechanics. Honesty is so hard to come by, and when someone really shows effort to assist the customer, and keep the price as low as possible it really shows their character.
