Dishonest establishment and mediocre bobo tea ... I've been a loyal customer for a few years and have seen this place change a lot. It started as a great boba tea lounge with Japanese cheesecakes, but now it's more of a random pastry shop selling whatever the owner brings to the shop to sell. I miss the original vibe, but I kept coming back. Lately, though, the boba teas have been hit or miss, it really depends on who makes them. At this point, they're just not worth the price. What really bothered me today was seeing an automatic gratuity added to my receipt and the staff didn't mention it. The girl serving me didn't let me know about it, so I ended up leaving an extra tip on top of that without realizing. When I asked her about it, she said she didn't know when the policy started and that the automatic tip doesn't go to her, just the extra tip does. So either the owner is stealing from the staff, or she's is lying to get extra tips. Either way, it didn't seem right. I've stuck with this place through all its changes, but the lack of honesty and transparency is a deal-breaker for me. Sadly, I won't be coming back. I recently went in to purchase the Japanese Cheesecake. As I was checking out I noticed the price was much more than $28 and tax. I asked the employee and she couldn't understand what I was saying. Unfortunately, she didn't speak English, so communication was difficult. I explained via my calculator that 7% tax would only by $1.96. She didn't understand. I needed to leave and she went ahead a processed the payment and once paid the receipt showed the automatic 15% gratuity charge. ($4.20). I've been a regular customer since they opened and can't believe the owner has added this to customers bills. Especially when I literally walked to the counter and ordered the cake to go. I also asked if I could freeze any leftover cake and the employee couldn't answer me because, again, she didn't speak English. How are you charging me 15% service charge for someone who couldn't answer my questions and literally put my cake in a box? I saw this place on Instagram and had to come! It's a cute little place near the beach and makes it a perfect post beach desert! The Japanese cheesecake is delicious and can be bought by the slice. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea with the pearls/ tapioca (no adjustments to sugar and ice). The taste itself isn't a distinctive taro flavor you'd expect. To my surprise, it taste more of a buko pandan flavor (a green coconut flavor). I wouldn't complain because it's still my favorite flavors. The pearls are cooked perfectly and the right amount of brown sugar soaked. The only thing that hinders me from a complete 5 star is the service. It could be friendlier. read more

Ordered 2 medium boba's and we got 2 very small cups. It was not a medium size. It was an 8oz small cup. It felt like a scam. A medium is supposed to be 16 oz!!!! In most boba places a medium is 16 oz. We were very surprised and didn't say anything but thank you. They don't offer small on the menu, only medium and large.
