We came here for a quick breakfast close to the beach and were satisfied and full up until dinner! We each got two of their baked goods and thought they were both very delicious - I'd recommend any of their pastries honestly, I did enjoy the one stuffed with Nutella the most I think. Their coffee was also delicious and had a good strength. The folks working were also kind and willing to answer any of our questions - definitely friendly and nice overall! The store itself is a little small, however they do have a large table where you can sit and enjoy your food. It wasn't too busy when we came so we were lucky to enjoy the large table to ourselves. If you're looking for a local, cute bakery/cafe to enjoy a nice breakfast or early lunch, definitely stop by!

Quaint little Italian bakery on the car heavy 5th Street. There's a little outdoor eating space with two benches and a stool as a makeshift table, but not much else. Thankfully the pastries pack a big taste to make up for the small space. Ham & Cheese Calzone: This is a really a great hearty breakfast. Calzone dough, so thicker than an empanada and bigger too. Lots of cheese! The cheese by the dough was evenly melted and the cheese inwards was still a little shredded, but they both tasted great. A decent amount of savory ham too. Delicious and filling. Custard & Raspberry Hand Pie: Buttery pastry dough with a big dollop of raspberry jam in the middle. And then some drier cooked custard surrounding the raspberry. Danish-like, but better. Went great with coffee. Nutella Bombolone: A really huge bombolone. Unfortunately, the Nutella filling was not huge. I'd say about 3/4s of the doughnut was not touched by filling, so kinda dry. I would have actually preferred a smaller bombolone that had a more generous Nutella distribution.

Was staying in the area for spring break and wanted to grab some pastries and baked goods to-go for breakfast and lunch. Stumbled into Buon Pane and ordered the bacon and cheese calzone, and chocolate croissants. The calzone and croissants were good but not amazing. The prices were on the high end as to be expected for the area. The Italian bread and baguettes looked good, and I would consider coming back for those.

A great small Italian bakery on one of the main drags of Miami Beach. Prices are rather cheap and everything is prepared when you walk in the door. The food: We ordered two chocolate croissants and a Nutella madeline. The croissants were really great with a buttery taste and not too much filling. My favorite was the Madeline as it was delicious. We also had two cappuccinos, just good coffee nothing too special. Other than not having a lot of seating, there isn't a reason not to come try some delicious pastries/coffee

Best donut of my life!! The size of my face!! Everything here is made from scratch! We had a massive Nutella-filled donut, a slice of pesto-cheese pizza-sandwich type thing and a bottle of water for under $6! Great for breakfast or lunch!

I will like to start this review by thanking the owner of this business for remaining open. We were looking for food and it was such a difficult task. There was a great selection for food, snacks and pastries to choose from the menu. They also habeverage choices including coffee, sodas, juices and water. Really enjoy the ham-cheese calzone, it was so delicious that it didn't make it for the picture. Also tried one of the pastries. Lots of layers of crunchiness and great flavor with a very unique touch of sweetness.

Cutest Italian bakery in South Beach! I love the no frills, chill vibe and lovely breads! They are known for their baguettes among other things. They have sandwiches and pizza as well. I got a bombolone filled with custard and raspberry jam along with a coffee. The pastry was fluffy, light and not too sweet. The coffee was perfect! They have stools to sit on a enjoy inside or a couple of chairs outside. Parking is hard to find in this area so I parked at a public garage on 7th street. Enjoy!

Nice bakery with lot of pastries and breakfast selections! The ladies who were serving were pleasant. Got a raspberry pastry which was delicious and a calzone with egg cheese and ham and it alright. Usually used to stop in for the filled donuts which are great. The place is small but has cute decor.

Everything tasted the same; like the case they display them in. Tasted like old air conditioning vents with mold.

The latte here was good. I had an omelette with turkey sandwich which was ok. I should've ask for some type of sauce.

A Slice of Dominican New York... Right Here on Miami Beach…read more I've been coming to Ocean Deli since 2020, and I honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Maybe because people from New York know one universal rule: when you find a great neighborhood spot, you keep your mouth shut. You don't want your hidden gem becoming the next place where people wait in line because somebody on social media "discovered" it. Ocean Deli is one of the last authentic neighborhood delis left on Miami Beach. In a city filled with luxury hotels, trendy brunch spots, and restaurants charging resort prices for breakfast, Ocean Deli quietly does what it's been doing all along--serving great food, quickly, and at prices that still make sense. This is where the people who actually keep Miami Beach running come to eat. Hotel employees, construction workers, delivery drivers, city workers, first responders, and the locals who somehow managed to survive Miami Beach's rising cost of living. If you want to know where the real locals eat, this is it. The owner is Dominican and from the Bronx, and that New York Dominican bodega culture is written all over this place--in the best possible way. Walk through the door and you'll swear you just landed in Washington Heights or the Bronx. Bachata and merengue are playing in the background. The smell of fresh café con leche fills the room. The grill is always working. Conversations bounce around the deli like you've walked into someone's neighborhood hangout instead of a business. The ladies behind the counter are unmistakably Dominican--friendly, hardworking, efficient, and they keep the line moving without ever losing that neighborhood feel. The sandwiches are outstanding. Fresh bread, generous portions, and made the way sandwiches are supposed to be made. No unnecessary gimmicks. No tiny portions with fancy names. The café con leche deserves its own mention. Strong, smooth, and exactly what coffee should taste like. If you've spent any time in New York's Dominican neighborhoods, you'll recognize it immediately. The Dominican breakfast and lunch plates are equally impressive. Simple, authentic, flavorful comfort food that fills you up instead of emptying your wallet. Speaking of wallets... Ocean Deli might be one of the best values left on Miami Beach. While restaurants a few blocks away are charging you like they flew the eggs in first class, Ocean Deli is quietly serving quality food at prices that remind you Miami Beach wasn't always built just for tourists. Just know what you're walking into......This isn't a sit-down restaurant. You walk in, place your order, take your receipt to the register and pay. Then you wait a few minutes while the grill works its magic. When they call your order, you grab your food and you're on your way. That's how it's done here. Fast, efficient, and without all the unnecessary fanfare. Ocean Deli isn't trying to sell you an "artisan culinary experience." It's selling great sandwiches, authentic Dominican food, excellent café con leche, fair prices, and a little piece of Dominican-York right here on Miami Beach. Some places sell an image....... Ocean Deli sells breakfast and lunch. After six years of coming here, I wouldn't have it any other way. Just do yourself one favor: when you find yourself surrounded by tourists paying resort prices for an average meal, remember there's still one place on Miami Beach where the locals go. Now You Know

Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

Just one block away from South Beach on 14th Street, this place is a very popular fast food spot…read more Since South Beach restaurants are either expensive (20% gratuity even for a party of two) or extremely crowded, we walked one block inland and found this place. From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?
