I am writing this review after living with my new fence for almost a year. I have only good things to say about Trudeau Fence Company. This company provided excellent customer service from my initial phone call to the completion of the project. Tim was a pleasure to work with and answered every question I had for him. The crew that built our fence performed quality work. It was clear to me that at the end of this project they wanted us to be satisfied customers. We have received compliments on our fence from both neighbors we know and those we don't. This is not the first fence we have had built. Called twice to inquire about hiring them to replace the fence they did for us a few years ago, but no call back. Ignored a potentially repeat customer on a $12,000+ job. Brilliant business strategy. This is what Mills fence has become, a corporate owned company who does shoddy work at best. Jesus did not work any miracle in this case. A metal gate was installed with a broken lock, uneven leveling and a gap left between the gate and fence. No notification of broken lock. Impossible to reach owner or upper management as office screener says they are always in meetings. Over a week now and still no repair. They are hiring now as obviously they cannot hire and keep competent installers nor does management check installs as part of quality control. Avoid this company as it is not the quality company once associated with the Mills name. Who are they now? Mills or Trudeau or what??? BBB hearing about this fiasco. read more

it was a small job (stair railings ) and a number of other companies were not interested in coming out to look let alone offer a bid. Kateyn not only scheduled a visit to see what the job envoled but within a day or two submitted a bid which was less than our best estimate, we scheduled the job, they arrived early and completed the rails . The job was such a great job that another neighbor asked for a bid on their fence repair. All in all we would definitely recommend them. Five Stars read more

I'm only giving 1 star because I have to. First of all the workmanship is horrendous, the gate they installed was crooked & uneven, the boards going throughout the fence looked warped due to them not installing it properly. Their workers loudly playing Spanish Music, cursing and yelling. They were unprofessional. They broke the plastic dryer vent on the side of my house & tried to say it was already like that. When I called to try and come up with a resolution to ALL the issues I dealt with very rude & unprofessional people. I don't know how they are still in business, I've talked to many people & I have only heard negative things. Please don't waste your money with this company, find a true professional. read more

Contacted twice to arrange quote for small patio enclosure with gate - pretty simple. Nope. Left message, then left voicemail with correct person on second attempt - and nothing. I didn't call to follow up as I'm not in the habit of begging to be a customer. read more

I contacted Trudeau to install a driveway gate we had purchased. I received an immediate reply expressing their regret they could not help since they only install their own products. But what set this encounter apart is that the employee, Daphney, took the time to give me advice on how I could find an installer, how to go about it, etc. In this day of bad service or no service for customers, to get this type of customer service for a NON customer is outstanding and a pleasant surprise. If Daphney is an example of the service you get at Trudeau, then we'll absolutely use them for our next fence! read more

If you'd like great service don't look here. I was referred to this company and it didn't pay off. I've called multiple times and have not heard back from Tim who left me one message and then never responded to the multiple others I left him. I called the office and left a voicemail giving them one last chance to contact me and still nothing. I will be sure to share the poor experience and also let the contractor who recommended them know what terrible service they have. I called to speak with this company to politely express dissatisfaction and they were nothing but rude to me. I professionally and kindly expressed my concerns and they told me not to call again and abruptly hung up. Their behavior is incredibly unprofessional and I would strongly recommend finding a different company to work with. read more

Last year we contracted with Trudeau's Fence Company to replace a gate and a portion of our fence. They were very prompt to come out and give us our estimate and give a time line of when we could expect the work to be performed. During the wait time, I received updates from the company on a regular basis and they made sure that everything was lined up and ready to go. On the install day, they were very considerate of our and our neighbor's landscaping. The best part of all was the gate. I was expecting a pre-fab gate, but they actually constructed it on site. There was a small problem with some of the construction materials left behind, but when I contacted the company, the issue was resolved immediately. The fence looks great and is solid. I would recommend Trudeau's to anyone getting a new fence or repairing an old. read more

I tried calling to express some concerns about a fencing job, but when the phone was answered, I was just greeted with just a brisk and annoyed "Hello." The person who answered was entirely unprofessional and incredibly rude. He was interrupting me and not taking my complaint seriously, then finally hung up after telling me not to call again. I am in utter disbelief that any company would treat someone so horribly. It's absolutely ridiculous. Please do yourself a favor and find a different fencing company. read more

My husband and I recently had Trudeau's fence in our large backyard with over 700 feet of black-coated vinyl chainlink fencing. We had three other local fence companies provide estimates, and Trudeau was the most affordable by several thousand dollars. The crew was extremely polite and did fantastic work. All of our neighbors have approached us saying how great the fence looks. read more
