Very professional, down to earth, hard working people. I needed all windows replaced at my home and they made what could be a very stressful home improvement a breeze! Their salesman was honest, not pushy and didnt use the time consuming and pressuring tactics that most installers use in the area (i had 4 local contractors come in for quotes, some of which spent nearly 2 hours trying to pitch pressuring "buy now" tactics). Their pricing was very fair, and the windows they use are great quality (i did research comparing them to other manufacturers). When it came to ordering the windows, the whole team introduced themselves and made sure it was exactly what we wanted (style, grid, type of glass, etc.). Justin (one of the owners) came out the following week to do the measurements (took 15 min.) and explain to me the installation process. The windows were completed and install was scheduled a full 3 weeks earlier than expected! The installer was knowledgeable, great at communicating and efficient. During the installation the salesman who initially met with us and one of the owners both came out to our home to ensure that the everything was going smoothly and make sure we were satisfied. They answered all questions and tested the functionality of each window before leaving at the end of the job. It's a rarity to receive such outstanding customer service nowadays! In the fall of 2019, I sought three quotes for new windows. Hegg Windows & Doors beat the other local "bests" by nearly $2,000... but that's not all! The individual who quoted me at my home was the owner of the company, Justin. He was personable and spoke my language. The 2-man installation crew was exceptional as well; these two individuals left my house just as clean as before they started the installation. They even ran their vacuum before they left! The installation was seamless and about three hours faster than I expected. I messed up some of the caulk (entirely my fault) about five minutes after they left my house (because I have no patience!) and the owner's dad came out a few days later and re-caulked my window. My windows have allowed more light into my home, have reduced outside noise and instantly reduced the need for heating in my house (I keep my house at four degrees cooler now - quite the difference). They are just the friendliest people. It warmed my heart to hear one of the young installers on the phone with this retired gentleman asking him to meet them for lunch - apparently it's a tradition at Hegg for the employees to eat lunch together so that they can get to know one another. This is a family-owned and operated business that exceeded all of my expectations. There are three things, in particular, that made working with HEGG a great experience: Our buying process with Justin, the install team, and the windows themselves. Justin: My wife and I do business with people we trust - and we immediately trusted Justin. He was down to earth, he wasn't pushy, and he took the time to get to know us and our house. HEGG replaced five windows, a sliding patio door, and a steel basement door in our home - a great experience all around. We initially met with Dave, who explained different options while keeping our budget and our home's existing style in mind. No pressure at all. This was our first time replacing windows and doors, so we had a bunch of questions, all of which were answered without hesitation. The entire team was very responsive as well. I always heard back from Dave or Tracie within one day of reaching out to them. All of our plans were clearly laid out and reviewed, so there was no question about the work to be done. With this being our first home my wife and I didn't know anything about windows and doors. We received quotes from other companies but were not confident they would meet all our needs. Once we contacted HEGG and meet Mark, we had the feeling he was the right guy for the job. From the beginning Mark was super knowledgeable and took his time to explain every aspect of the project to us. During our front door replacement we knew there was some flooring that was going to need repaired, upon inspection they found more damage than expected and were able to get it fully secured and finished in the same day. They have always been responsive to calls and emails, showed up on time, and their crews were very professional. After putting on the new door, we decided to add a storm door, which they were able to give us a few options based on what we were looking for. I did ALL the research and made the choice to use Hegg windows and doors! What a great choice. I needed to replace Anderson wood windows that were original to our 1964 ranch. The original windows were trimmed with beautiful golden oak that matched all the woodwork in the house. The only company that was able to supply a perfect fiberglass match with the replacement windows was Hegg. Everyone else offered only white trim which just emphasized the window frame instead of blending in with the original wood grain. The cost was reasonable and the service and install was perfect. Even when I had a question about how to properly clean and open, they came back to my home to show me. I recommend them highly! read more

Great work! We had our front door replaced since it was original to our home, and we were impressed from the beginning to end of the process. We needed a custom color to match our neighbors, and Hegg matched the color exactly. There were also some issues with unexpected rot in the door frame, and the crew took care of it on the day of installation without any issues. They even took pictures of the rot and the process to fix it so that we could show our homeowner's association. We also appreciated them coming out afterwards to do a final inspection of the door. If we have future window or door needs, we'll use Hegg again. read more

Recently I had French doors installed on the back of my house leading out to a deck. Due to a misunderstanding, the orientation of the door swing was incorrect and the threshold was the wrong color. I went to the business to discuss the error and the owner stated that he wanted me to be happy and he ordered a new set of French doors.....Provia.....and installed them today. The windows and doors are great! Dave's personal interest in our special project was above and beyond what I ever expected. Our home is over 100 years old and has a unique prairie style.
