Meanwhile this is at her 1 wk post-op appointment and told me I should think about it before taking this further because it could destroy his office! So instead of making another visit I will take my daughter elsewhere and contact a lawyer ASAP!! Beware Ladies Dr Torrado is very smart but obviously he only cares about himself and does not care about his patients!!

They were there when I started my first job, but didn't have insurance. They were there when I had insurance, but needed more flexible hours. They have always been my first source for gynecological health care and cancer screenings. Although I have good insurance now and could go to another OBGYN practice, I still go to Planned Parenthood. Excellent care by people who care about my health and share my values about equality and social justice.

The first time I met him he simply walked in and literally said, "With your family history of cancer I am recommending an immediate complete hysterectomy." I was so shocked I nearly fell off the table. No introduction, no questions of me, no exam, nothing. I ended up going to Boston for wonderful care with a great team. He was dead wrong in his assumptions. I have since learned from two neighbors that they had similar experiences. Dr. Garcia was highly skilled and the best possible doctor with superb training at the best universities and THIS is what we get to replace her? A hospital is only as good as its weakest links. When doctors are evaluated by how much money they bring in this is precisely what happens. Add in a sexist, bad attitude and extremely poor communication skills and the community runs in the opposite direction. We desperately need excellent gynecological as well as all types of care in this area and simply must do a better job of recruiting better doctors. As another point of information, another local doctor severed arteries twice during routine surgeries before they sent him for more training. How much confidence does that instill in you if you need your shoulder operated on? Wake up Cayuga Medical and Guthrie! We can only support you if you do your part in hiring competent and caring individuals at all levels of your organizations.

I'm almost relieved to see the other negative reviews, that it's not just me somehow. I was crying I was in so much pain. He immediately from the start stated that he wasn't even going to try to remove the IUD. He didn't want to do any exam to look and see where it was to see if he could remove it. He had no imaging showing the position. Nothing to go by to know where it was, yet he wanted to jump straight to a surgical solution. I'd had Planned Parenthood and an ER tell me to see a gyno, but they both said it could be done in an office visit. It seems the IUD has moved up inside. He said he didn't see strings when he FINALLY, ANGRILY did briefly take a look. But for the love of god. To just assume surgery with no visual, no imaging, no nothing. And he never did any imaging. No ultrasound. He STILL has no idea where it is or what the situation is but thinks I'm going to show up for surgery? And HE wants to do surgery, without a clear picture of the situation? It's unreal. He might be the worst doctor I've ever seen. I wish I'd looked up the reviews before seeing him. He should not be practicing. It makes me never want to go near Cayuga Health again, for employing him.

Their online customer website is a joke. I stumbled on a message in there that reported a very high A-1 C test that had been prescribed. No further contact about the serious matter. I guess I need a senior doctor. Beyond the individual Dr. Services, I've concluded that this company has a collection of doctors with nobody in particular in charge. The ratings give negative marks for customer service and clearly nobody over there is paying attention. I don't know what to make of this company but I'm about done.

I asked if I was imagining the bleeding as well - he said, oh, that's just hormonal, we can fix that. They had called and left me a voicemail two days prior, about it being cancelled however I never saw it. They then rescheduled me for a few weeks later, and all was good. At the appointment a few weeks later the Dr. insisted on only meeting me, and wanted to send me for blood work prior to doing my physical. I thought this was odd, since I am in my young 20s and healthy and simply just needed a physical. But, I figured it wasn't a big deal and scheduled an additional appointment for a physical. My physical appointment that was a few weeks later ended up being cancelled, and I decided to not reschedule due to my busy schedule. Fast forward to May of 2020, I called the office to have a physical done since I was going out of town for a physical agility test for a LE position. The office got me right in and was willing to sign the necessary paperwork for my physical agility test. However, the Dr treated me very oddly. I was first seen by the Medical Student, who was wonderful, he asked me typical questions about my health, and was very polite, he was to the point and professional. Then the Dr Stevanovic walked in, as soon as he walks in he put his hand on my chin and goes "Wow what an ugly girl we need to get you to a dermatologist, you really are beautiful I'm just kidding babe". The extent of his medical exam was listening to my lung sounds, that was all he did. Then he spent 45 minutes lecturing me on how I'm "too pretty and nice to be a police officer", "you don't want to play with guns they kill people and turn you into a bad person" and "you should consider a nursing position you can work for me beautiful". After lecturing me on my career choices, he proceeded to ask me questions about my significant other. None of these questions seemed to be necessary for my medical exam. Luckily, paperwork was signed for my physical agility test. However I felt like the Dr was extremely unprofessional, and I felt uncomfortable due to his behavior towards me. The Dr wanted me to go get blood work and do a follow up, with him. He stated he wanted to rule out diabetes, despite me having no symptoms of it. I think it is very odd that he wants to do a follow up after blood work, for a condition I have no symptoms of. I am not sure if this is his way of getting more money out of my insurance or his way of seeing a young lady again. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this Dr. If you are a young female or involved in emergency services, do not waste your time and money with him.

He then threatened to take away his medication. My partner was too anxious to go back and was not able to refill his medication after that, causing him to be demoted. He then lost his job because of Covid-19, but is sure if he had been able to take his medication he would still be working. My partner left a google review, which Ithaca Primary Care paid google to remove, so it can't be seen by anyone trying to get an idea of what Ithaca Primary Care is about. It's extremely unprofessional and based off of other reviews that have since been removed, dr. stevanovic likes to harass his patients.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this doctor. He insisted on an unnecessary, painfully-done…read moreprocedure, because he refused to look at ultrasound results found elsewhere. Ultrasounds shouldn't be extremely painful but his was; brutal. Got an infection post-procedure, office denied I had it, until it was proven. Thankfully antibiotics cleared it up. Results of test by Dr. Torrado's interpretation were completely wrong, as proven subsequently by surgery I had done elsewhere. My experience with this doctor was a scary, traumatizing experience.
