If you have minor issues and you are able to be seen by your primary or urgent care you would be well advised to do so for both your time and your money. If it's outside of those hours think hard about spending your time here. If you can wait with minor injuries until a first am appt elsewhere that is probably worth it. It's a shame - if this er was run half as well as our local urgent care it would be worth extra cost associated with hospital ers. I'm certainly grateful we have an er at all, but it's not a customer centric organization. Once care givers actually attended they were friendly and helpful.

Since they have…read moreswitched over the CMA -- ca. 2022 -- they are the most incompetent, unsympathetic, rude and even illiterate set of "medical" practitioners that I have ever encountered (I use scare quotes because I don't really know that what they do should qualify as medicine, so much as abuse). They are incapable of refilling medications on time, often schedule, cancel or change appointments without informing me, and my medical plan is occasionally changed -- seemingly on a whim -- by practitioners with whom I have never spoken., and who know nothing of my history or chart. The attitude towards health, in general, is putative: you are at fault for requiring a refill on time of a daily medication that they have prescribed (and they often even argue with you about the pharmacy where you wish to pick it up, suggesting less convenient alternatives), you are a nuisance if you require an appointment, and you will generally be "scolded"in a demeaning and dehumanizing way if you are not aware of policy changes of which they never informed you (or anyone else). Its really a shame, as the doctors were superb and erll-loved folks around town for years. But they have almost all retired or gone somewhere else. Now it is a travesty of ignorance mixed with anger and an utterly unfounded, unearned, and abused sense of authority. Horrible. I have never written a Yelp review before, but this place has been bad enough to warrant one.

From the reviews I've seen around for this company, it doesn't look like there's anybody minding the store. I guess that all of the doctors are operating independently and nobody is being careful that the organization has a good reputation. This one doesn't. They were there when I started my first job, but didn't have insurance. They were there when I had insurance, but needed more flexible hours. They have always been my first source for gynecological health care and cancer screenings. Although I have good insurance now and could go to another OBGYN practice, I still go to Planned Parenthood. Excellent care by people who care about my health and share my values about equality and social justice.

My BCBS plan has a $20 copy (that's it!) for a visit to the urgent care. I got a bill for over $1,900 that I am responsible for (for a $600 Covid Test and $400 flu test!!) because of the way it was billed. Apparently, just because they are affiliated with a hospital they are allowed to bill it as a hospital visit, even those it advertises itself as 'convenient care clinic'. GRRRR... HORRIBLE. Feels like FRAUD to me.
