This place is rockin'! Milo's is the bar to head to when you're lookin' to go out with friends and can't think of where to go. Recently refurbished and redone, do not, I REPEAT, no NOT judge this place by their outward appearance! Cozy and comfortable, Milo's sports an incredible spot to enjoy a night with friends without having to endure the crushing scene of most bars that offer run of the mill drinks and unfriendly employees. Heading to Milo's ensures you'll walk out having met a few, if not all, of their friendly crew. Milo's boasts any type of bar game you can think of, including cornhole and ring toss on their newly redesigned patio. The patio is great, due to the tall privacy fencing that makes you feel mega secluded. The creativity in drink crafting at Milo's is top notch, while also offering the favorites. The legendary Ray Charles Shot is a ton of fun to participate in. One thing that I LOVE is their growing selection of local craft beer. So far, Community and Revolver brews are offered, so prepare for high quality, outstanding craft beer from DFW! It's a testament to the bar itself that those breweries selected them to serve their products; not just every bar is allowed to carry such fine beer! I LOVE Milo's! I think it's a well kept secret, but Yelpers are awesome, so I'm happy to share... Milo's is a place you're not going to find unless you're looking for it. Really hard. Tucked snugly inbetween an auto repair place, and surrounded by used car dealers, it is a small bar with a ambiguous green sign that just says "Milos". You walk into this shack of a building only to discover that the decor inside is kind of posh. Black leather everything. There is a long bar when you walk in with black barchairs with armrests (no falling out!) and backs (SUPER comfortable), a couple of pool tables to your left, and in front of the pool tables is ... A NINTENDO LOUNGE!!!! There are two black leather couches and two black leather armchairs crowded around a coffee table which houses a Super Nintendo. You can sit down and play Mario All-Stars on the nice flat screen TV mounted on the wall. There is also a spacious "dining room" area with more tables and big, rolling, leather office chairs for drinking. The people are friendly, bartenders are AWESOME, drinks are cheap, and bathrooms are even clean. Check your attitudes at the door...... Milo's reminded me of some of the places I used to frequent years ago both in look, smell, decor, attitude, atmosphere, sounds, clientele..... Pool tables. Darts. Jukebox (pricey - hence the -1 star), couches, friendly staff, awesome bartenders, reasonable pricing. The jukebox carries lots of 90's alternative stuff so wifey was happy to bounce around to some Cure while totally sucking at darts. ZERO attitudes! (yay). This is the perfect place to come if you just want a drink, want to spend some quality time with friends, mingle with some regulars or even become one. It's not too loud that you find yourself screaming over some throbbing music. Music was handled by the jukebox early-on and a video-DJ (who rocked) later in the evening. The crowd ranged from young-uns (21) up to old farts (me - mid 40's) and was a solid mix of genders. There's definitely more of a sense of comaraderie amongst the patrons and not that tired old "meat market" feel. It is a smoking environment so be aware of that if you have a low-tolerance to the smell. Maybe it was just me but the air wasn't as intensely smokey as most other places. It is a dive bar. Drinks are cheap. Bartenders fast and attentive so full stars. BUT... and I know people might hate me... I have witnessed a few things that let me question some others... OK: I sat directly at the bar, where they pour. The staff takes hygiene and proper ordering not really serious. The lady with the fabulous big boobs used her hand to fish out olives of the glass. HANDS not a fork or any other help. She did wipe her hands afterwards at a cloth used to clean whoknowswhat. Ok, i am not a germophobe and I grew up with goats and horses. But at least hide it from customers lol Second, some hoebag orders sugar free redbull drinkshot thing. I heard her ask the bartender for sugar free. The bigboobed lady went with i guess the barmgr (?) and she took an already open red bull (not sugar free) told the person she is not opening a new one for just a drink and poured the non sugar free and gave it to the customer. Awesome little bar hidden away. Like others have said, the parking lot is small. Luckily I brought the little car and squeezed in. Be warned, it is smoking so if that's not your thing then I wouldn't recommend it for you. It has different things to keep you entertained. 3 pool tables, ping pong, darts and corn hole. I went on a Sat night and they had a DJ. He did a good job plus the music he was playing, the music video was in the TVs too. The bar staff were really good for how busy it was. I was recommended the dragon baby shot and it was legit. Good amount of beers on tap too. You can get fish bowls and the prices are very reasonable. Very diverse crowd. I have to knock off a star for the bathroom. It was undersized for how many people the place can hold. Oops reviewing this a bit late. Went back in March 2014. Anyway, great place. Everyone from the security guard, to the owner was friendly. Mixed music, great crowd of people. The bartender made a good drink and I found the people tat frequent tat pace to be really friendly, which was nice since i came alone and new to Texas. This place is AWESOME. The DJ, Mike T, is really cool! Bought us a round of shots and made us feel real welcome. Just FYI when you park and walk to the building, the shady looking door in the front may not look like like the entrance, but it is! There are no windows. It's a little red building. Once you enter the place it's AWESOME. Real chill and really nicely furnished. Giant Jenna blocks in the back patio too! Def must-come-to-place. Real badass environment. I am kicking myself for not coming to this place before. As luck would have it I came here right before I was going to move out of state. But but but, I'm so glad I got to experience Milo's at least once in my life. The bartenders are really friendly and the guy with the crazy beard is super friendly. The interior is large with a lot of space for pool tables and ping pong (was it ping pong?). Like most bars, there's a jukebox but there's also a DJ. The patio is where it's definitely at. The super chill vibe is completed with a fire pit, a few fire torches, un/cushioned seats, cornhole, and a mega set of wooden blocks for MEGA JENGA. I had a great time with good company. The good: Stands out among the seedy bars on Division. Not much to look at from the outside, but was shocked at how nice it was inside. They did it right. Leather sofas, steel, mirrors. very sharp. The Wii is a nice touch. The bad: Been here twice, seems like there's a crowd around the owner at the end of the bar both times. Bartenders pay no attention to anybody else at the bar. Definitely the bar to be at in Arlington!! Sure it can be easy to miss, but DONT! It's close to all the entertainment ventures in town to do your pre and/or after party, and it's also a great place to go on any random night. Staff is great and friendly, you can probably even catch a certain bartender blow fire if you're lucky. Great drink specials and live deejays Thursday- Saturday. You can make this place a chill evening, or an all out party which I enjoy a lot. I love it here and I think Thursdays are the best nights!! My wife and I went there on a whim as were pleasantly surprised. It is not much to look at from the outside, in fact we almost drove past it. The inside is dark and pretty basic but it has a pool table, tables and couches. The bartender was very nice and what was amazing was the prices. While Milo's has great potential, but the amount of smokers in the place completely ruins it, it was like literally walking into a cloud of second hand smoke. Very dark, black everything, chairs, walls, ceiling. The crowd was very young, I would guess 21 - 28 max. Almost like a college hang out, but wasn't. The music was DJ and mostly hip hop. Drinks were fair priced, staff, door guy and bartenders were all nice, so that's a plus. I'd go back on another night just see if the crowd was different. read more

I came here for a yelp event and we had too much fun. It's a total dive, the crowd was very eclectic. I don't know if that's because we had a ton of yelpers or if that's the normal mix? The DJ was great showing videos along with the music and the Rangers fans still got to watch the game. The bathrooms were surprisingly super clean and not scary. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we managed in a tiny coupe. I don't know what would have happened if we drove a SUV or truck! The bartenders are quick and friendly. I moved away about a year ago but I always make an effort to come here when I'm in town. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are cheap. There is 3 pool tables, a ping pong table and corn hole out in their lovely patio. Too cold? They have a fire pit!!!! Only con is they allow smoking inside. read more

Last night was my first night at this hidden gem that I found out about on the whisper. It was everything I was told and more. Oh Milo's, what a fun time. I came for the Yelp Fort Worth event and had a blast. Even though I'm from Arlington I had no idea that Milo's existed. The games in the back were awesome, especially with the great patio weather. The drink specials were amazing. The only downside for me was the smoking, as I have asthma. But I risked my lungs that night for some good old Yelp fun. I hope that they can resolve the smoking issue in the future so I can come back. read more

When I am in the area I only go to Milo's. At Milo's I avoid douche bags that I might find further down division. I fit in with the eclectic crowd and variously aged individuals who are just as warm and welcoming as the bar staff. I remember the old Milo's and I must admit...new ownership has made a world of difference. I go on Thursdays, catch a game and then dance my ass off to a bad ass DJ. Love this place. The bartenders are cool and remembered me very quickly, the drinks taste great and the prices are great. Definitely lives up to its "most upscale dive bar" name. I wish they had another ping pong table, I feel like there's always a battle for it and my friends like to play. Though I'm also not sure where you would put it, lol. Just a heads-up though that they do allow smoking inside so you will smell like smoke when you leave. That's the only complaint I have, but then again I have friends that smoke that I usually go with and they love it so I understand you can't please everyone with the whole smoking vs. non-smoking battle. Been to this bar once. It is a lot roomier than it looks on the outside. I would definitely consider this as a local bar, doesn't look like the type that someone would come a far ways to try because it is located on a side street near Uta where it is very easy to overlook. Not much decor outside or anything at all to advertise/show they are open. When I was there, they did not really have that big of a drink selection. The thing I really like about this place was the backdoor patio seating, it was very cute and better than the actual inside for sure. read more
