I signed a contract where he gave me verbal estimate of how much it would cost. He was supposed to do both the front and the backyard. His guys did a great job on the backyard, but they never got to the front. When I asked Tommy about it, he said that the contract I signed was actually an estimate. Nowhere in the contract do I see the word estimate. It is an invoice. He told me he would have to charge me more to finish the front yard because he claimed that the price could change. He came back and finished part of the front yard, but charged me $150 for it. I am now taking him to Small claims court. I am hiring someone to finish the front yard, and then I will sue him in court for the amount that I pay the new gardener.
